Evie was now invested. Curiosity was dangerous, a lesson that she learned from her mother, but she couldn't help but become consumed by it in her daily life. She sat criss-cross by the mound, looking at Dexter and reading his expression when he touched his locket. It didn't take much brainpower to deduce that Adriane had been of romantic interest. "Tell me about them," she suggested lightly.

In hindsight, it was probably unwise for Beau to slip into a cemetery the way he did--with urgency rampant in his eyes and walking as fast as he could--but he was lucky to not be seen or noticed by any of the three people that were in eyesight. Usually, he drew a lot of attention, being a tiger and much less a vaguely familiar semi-public figure. He skimmed the names embedded into the gravestones as he darted by, finally noticing a cloaked figure hunched over his destination. Oh, thank god, he thought, letting out a relieved breath and approaching her slowly.
She heard the footsteps and her head snapped behind her shoulder warily.
"Hey," Beau said, stopping himself from saying her name. He could never know what security precautions they had taken. "I heard about... your situation. Come on. Let's get out of here." He put out his hand and she took it without hesitation, taking a meek and final glance at the grave before following him out of the cemetery.

Literally who was that, Rowan thought, rubbing his eyes and watching Felix leave. On another day, he would have been aggressive and even the slightest bit wary, but any instinct that told him to be cautious had been muffled by his fatigue. He would have to mention something to his superiors later. Rowan sighed and continued his walk to the apothecary, wondering why he was so unlucky every time he tried to flirt.

Adeline, surprisingly enough, hadn't noticed. Rogue had been reserved since she'd met him and she had respectfully kept her distance because of it. She also hadn't had much of an opportunity to talk to him anyways. She looked into Glacier's piercingly blue eyes and subtly searched for any signs of disgust or dismay, wondering whether or not he would be aggressive if she were to reveal her heritage. But he's coming from a point of reason, she reminded herself, deciding to say nothing about herself.
"He means well, from what I've gathered about him in this short amount of time. Besides, half breeds are always weaker when it comes to using their power, so it's... well, he won't be causing the next Ice Age, I suppose."

Allium popped off of the sofa and peered through the peephole before opening the door. Her heart thumped nervously when she saw Vincent--any Wavecrest was bound to throw her off her guard--but she stifled her instinct and opened the door with a warm smile. "Hey! Good to see you."
-----------
She shrugged, "Well, we're close. I suppose I wouldn't do the same to all of the others that I've just met--that being said they're lovely people... And thank you." Wisty smiled at him. "I'll go check." She bounded off towards the pool room after saying a quick goodbye to Matthew.

"I don't think there's anyone here," Eclipse replied, looking around and understanding how he felt unsettled. The architecture was grandiose and large, but in its emptiness, it seemed a bit ominous. She looked over at Percy and nodded. "Yeah, they can be kinda scary. Rhythe especially. But they're just worried about keeping me safe, I think. Where's your dad?"

"Right," Wither mumbled softly, remembering that Magnolia's room was a mess. Void looked up at Lucius with his fluorescent orange eyes when he spoke. He had shifted away from Wither's leg and was now spread across the floor. "You figure it'd be alright for her to leave now?" He asked.

"I don't either, Shade, but I'm afraid that isn't something in our power." Silver's face was stoic as usual, but the way that he cast his eyes off to the side suggested that he was in deeper thought about his own childhood. He was smart enough to know that his was certainly the opposite of the norm, and his lack of emotional competency was most likely a result of such.

Eclipse and Percy had made it into the large hallways of the castle at this point. She looked at the high ceilings and darkened glass windows with awe, cradling Dusk and holding him slightly away from her chest so that he could get a look at the architecture as well.

Normally, a fugitive would have made Adeline wary, but Glacier's connection to Rogue created trust. She listened to his words and nodded carefully--she had sympathy for her new housemate. "Everyone has made mistakes in their past to some degree. It's a worthwhile trait to be able to face it," she replied. If only I could do the same for myself, Adeline thought as she took a sip of her tea, managing to find admiration for Glacier to some degree.

Wisteria contently chilled in the living room area before seeking out Crystal. After all, the main reason her visits to Adriane's house were so frequent was because of her crush (something that she was quite reluctant to admit) and being around her always seemed to be able to lighten her mood instantly amidst all of her family problems. She knocked a quick and energetic rhythm on Crystal's door before poking her head in--their friendship had reached a point in which knocking was optional for Wisty--and furrowing her eyebrows at the emptiness of the room. She then promptly marched over to Matthew's room and walked in, asserting her presence by sitting criss-cross on his bed.
"Hey, Matt~ How're you? You wouldn't have an idea as to where Crystal has gone, would you?" She asked, getting straight to the point.

Dawn lost her composure completely when the girl materialized in front of them. She yelped and the sheer surprise brought her down to her knees. Her entire body had been shaken by the dark blob, her heart now thumping rapidly in her ears, but when she realized it wasn't Umbra she stared inquisitively. Dawn put a hand over her heart and caught her breath before quickly standing up and brushing herself off, ready to go on the defense against the stranger. But she noticed the ears and the tail and was taken aback, beginning to actually consider the stranger's offer with a spark of hope and wonder. We need more than a myth, she thought to herself, looking over at Maxwell in his weakened state and tensely slipping her hand into the girl's.

Elli gingerly reached out and touched the creature's wings. He tore his attention away from Koji and Orion when he realized that Ivy had brightened up, which brought a pleasant smile to his face. Practically anyone's happiness was contagious to him, and seeing Ivy smile for the first time was more than enough to do so.
"I know!" Orion replied brightly.

Evie glanced over her shoulder and noticed Dexter, her attention first drawn to the alarming amount of torso that he was displaying--the scars were no surprise--and then to his facial expression. She opened her mouth to make a remark on how much older he was than Ivy, but stopped and narrowed her eyes in thought. The look in his eyes wasn't lust, nor was it anything that even hinted at romance despite what she thought at first glance. Evie was now far too curious to merely attack him with sarcasm.
She strode closer to him, although cautiously, and cocked her head ever so slightly. "What're you thinking about, Dexter?" Evie asked softly, her question genuine.

Wither, who was still finding her reciprocated love to be picturesquely surreal, blushed when Magnolia touched her. Her will to respond to Lucius's insight melted away and her solemn expression was ruined with the involuntary upward curl of her lips.
She let herself smile up at Magnolia, "It might be fine if someone's looking after you. Ask the doctor." She threw a glance at Lucius.

The beat of Beau's staggering heart strained his ribcages, sending nervous jitters to his hands. His muscles were impulsively tightened as he darted out of Silver's apartment building. He had made so many innocent promises to her as a child--to let one of his best friends be devoured by the savagery that was the feline army was something Beau would never be able to forgive himself for.
She wouldn't just go straight to her post... nobody sane would want to rush there, anyways, he thought, stuffing his shaking fists into the safety of his jacket pockets as he racked his brain. Silver was sentimental underneath the harsh exterior that she had built for herself, and as far as Beau knew her she had been loyal and good-hearted; the only logical stop he thought that she would take would have to be the cemetery. He darted into the crowd and mapped out the quickest route.

Rowan was walking back to the Bluebird's Nest. His day had been painfully uneventful, with his superiors demanding that he sit through a two-hour meeting discussing a job that took place during the nighttime, and even though Jinx had advised him to stay away from the apothecary for a while he wanted nothing more than to go to sleep. His approximate speed of three miles an hour seemed to be faster than the pace at which his brain was working, which was why his first instinct was to flash his notoriously charming smile at the attractive lop-eared rabbit that he had noticed was walking his way. It took him far too long to piece together the scar on the stranger's mouth and his air of charm and confidence as a probable sign that he was a fellow criminal of some sort, a fact that he quickly brushed off in favor of thinking about the wonderful nap he had been looking forward to all day.

Rhythe and Silver looked at Shade with expressions that seemed to come from a place of understanding; as harsh as their methods were, Eclipse had become a priority to them (although their morals hadn't been too strong in the first place). Silver's wary eyes followed the two children as they skipped off and out of sight, in which he finally slunk down into a chair with his arms crossed tensely. Rhythe promptly pawed at his arms, forcing him to uncross them, and slipped onto his lap.
"We can only do so much to protect her at this point," Silver said with a tragic waver, "Monty typically has a... dark approach when it comes to teaching children, and god knows she has so much potential."

Eclipse nodded and looked over her shoulder. Her eyes piqued with interest and she turned back to Percy. "Do you want to go exploring with me?" She asked, her lopsided grin giving off a sense of childish cheekiness. Silver's attention swiveled to the children's conversation when Eclipse said this, but in an effort to regain Magnolia's trust he refrained from intervening. He merely warned as any good parental figure would do, "Be careful. It's easy to get lost in such a large structure."

Beau twisted his mouth and rubbed his temples. Helping her while she was already with the Force would be a nightmare--he would have to hurry to get to her before. He snapped his attention back to Mango when he spoke again, recognizing the squint. As one of the more unimportant members of the royal family, he got that look a lot.
He shrugged in response. "I can't recall ever meeting you before, but it was a pleasure to do so today. Thanks for the help."
He darted off to the stairs, hoping to catch Silver.

"It's okay. I believe you," Eclipse said hesitantly, mostly because did want to befriend Percy. Her eyes were drawn to the cellphone and she recognized its familiar shape despite never seeing it on the vampires around her. Her old self knew what it was, and she didn't think to question her subconscious, so she simply glazed over it without a second thought. "Where do you guys live? I haven't really explored the castle yet."

Monty looked off to the side in thought. "I can vaguely recall. She does like to claim my soldiers as an act of dominance--I'm not surprised," he replied, the last bit a mumble. "Anyways. No use in pointing out her flaws. How is Lucifer going with her?"

Wither sat back in her chair and laced her fingers together tightly. "Lucius, we've had betrayals left and right this month. A verbal statement--" She began to rebut, but stopped herself. Don't try to pick a fight, she warned herself, pressing her tongue against the top of her mouth and mustering a tight-lipped smile.
"I don't mean to accuse you of anything. I suppose I'm just paranoid with all of the recent mishaps."

Dawn drew a sharp breath. Her face was glazed with focus as she stared into the empty distance. "I've spent a lot of time around other Fantasies--it's a difficult skill to perform... we'll just have to hope for the best," she mumbled, running her hands through her hair. She felt a prick, the coolness of water, on her face and briefly looked up to the darkening sky.

By this time, Jasper had managed to utilize his wind as both a weapon and a defensive wall--every projectile shot by the raging Beasts around him were either deflected or absorbed into the tornado. He only broke focus from conjuring the storm above them to scan the perimeters and count the numbers. Hail began to dart from above, amongst the copious amounts of rain, and the clouds crackled with thunder.
He closed his eyes and channeled his focus. The hail sharpened to become a weapon. Jasper flicked his staff in a downwards motion and the wind around him shot outwards, knocking the surrounding animals back and fazing a majority of them--in a split second, purple streaks of lightning forcefully hurled into the ground around him.
Belle bounded out of the burnt remains of the cabin moments later, Fallow shivering by her side. She began to angrily rant at him for almost killing her and was promptly ignored; Jasper mounted Cedar and simply flew off to handle more important matters.

Orion gave her a sympathetic nod and firmly shook her hand. "That's a beautiful name. I'm Orion," he replied, bending down to scoop up his companion. The creature cooed at Ivy and wriggled its legs as a greeting. "And this here is Koji," he said, much more affectionately, with a quick kiss to the moth-cat's head.

Beau clenched his teeth together with frustration and stared into the blankness of the stairwell. He was itching to sprint away to find Silver before she could cover any more ground--the girl was quick--but the information that Mango could potentially have was far more valuable to him. "I don't either. Do you know where she's going exactly? Or even an idea?"

"Well, yes," Beau said bluntly in response, then immediately regretted it. Way to come off as rude, he chided himself silently, quickly following up his statement with something else to salvage the conversation. "That's why I happen to be here, is what I meant. Do you know where she is right now? Was the last time you saw her this morning?"
