	Lise grabbed Troye by the back of his shirt and they both jumped off the ship, and Lise yelped when they were both caught by gargoyles. Lise nodded. She took a deep breath before holding two fingers up at Troye. Troye nodded and pulled out a water bottle. He uncapped it and drew the water put with his wand. Lise touched his arm to help strengthen his attack and Troye quickly turned the water into sharp shards of ice and shot them at the attackers near them, and when most of the shards hit their targets he grinned. They had been practicing that move for ages.

	Lise walked over and sat down next to Troye, who was currently staring at the ceiling. "Are you okay?" She asked. "I want to jump off of this ship." He said with a groan. Troye’s eyes widened. “I uh...” He fumbled for words. He looked crestfallen. Is that really what people thought about him? “Um right then... I’ll go.” He said, getting up quickly and sitting back down where he was before, hiding his face behind one of Lise’s books.

Lise grinned. “Ice magic, that’s great! We could make a really good team.” She said. She opened a piece of the candy he gave her and popped it into her mouth.
