	No you can not, as you can only get Ho-Oh through Wondertrade Codes, and these eggs do not count towards the Pokeradar shiny chain. The only way to obtain a shiny Ho-Oh, is by winning a Code through Shiny Wondertrades. [Read more]

	After buying the Shadow Radar, you can use it to catch Kanto Shadow Pokemon. For Johto 'mon, you have to buy the "Shadow Radar Upgrade (Johto)" which will cost 100,000 PD. Also, every use of the Shadow Radar costs 200 PD. And you need a lot of Pokeballs/Great Balls/Ultra Balls. [Read more]

No :) Megas can randomly hatch anytime, with an higher chance while having a Mega Cuff activated (can be bought with Nuggets) and while breeding Pokemon with good IVs. Shinies are hunted with the Pokeradar, which can be used without Premium. You will need PD or Electric Gems to activate the Pokeradar, and the charge will last until you break the chain or hatch a shiny.

The advantage of having Premium is that the Pokeradar will keep running if you hatch a Shiny, without having to start over.

Basically, this is how the Daycare works. Some days are extremely lucky with eggs, some are really bad. The rarity of a Pokemon also plays a role in the number of eggs I think.
What you could do, is buying White/Black Flutes from the Item Shop to boost your daycare, but they cost Nuggets.

Other methods to make hunts more smoothly would be to prepare Gems a lot (you get quite a nice amount of Gems from sending Dream World Plushies and can actively farm them in the Royal Tunnel). You could invest in some egg storages, so you can store some Daycare eggs there before actually starting the hunt.
