I have a few dragon children that have been sitting in my lair for a few months now. Perhaps someone will like them enough to take them off my hands; otherwise, they will finally meet with Windpapa.

I'd like 10-12k treasure for the XYY/XYX, 8k for the XYZ. I'll be happy to take some junk apparel instead. I'm okay with selling them for PD - 2PD : 1treasure.

I was tempted. I was very tempted. But then I remembered that that would interfere with my other "breed and exalt" game thing, which requires me to keep one of the offspring. And since my lair is always spilling over dragons, I can't really afford to have two of those games running at the same time. Oops. (But the XYY pearlie is a cutie!)

I've bred one of my fodder pairs, and gee, recently they seem to surprise me with single cute hatchie in a clutch, every single time. I couldn't afford to keep the one from last time, but this boy's from two nests ago:

(Looks best with Runes).

And in this nest, there was this girl:

(She looks great with Contour).

On that note, I can only keep one of them - the boy - and I would really love the girl to find a home instead of getting her immediately exalted. Would anyone be interested in her?

I don't think so. I mean, look at seals - they are chubby, they are predominantly sea creatures. Look at most sea/ocean fish - like tuna or halibut - they are one of the most fatty fish out there. Now for the excercise, look at, for example, women's shot put contestants. A lot of phisical activity that requires strength doesn't really come with a slender waist and abs. And I would say stabbing things with a heavy spear requires a fair amount of strength. Admittedly, yes, swimming a lot does sculpt a human(oid) body fairly well, but... eh. I think it's fine. :'> I love them chubs anyway.

A while ago, I started a "breeding project" that, really, doesn't have an end goal to it. The point is to make a long line of descendants. Breed a dragon, keep one of its kids, get a cheap partner from the AH (picked with the help of RNG), breed them, keep one of their kids... etc. Exalting the parents as soon as they've done nesting.

So with my starting point of my perma dragon, Neve's, offspring, Erewhon, I got through a bunch of generations, the current "heir" of the family being Xilla... who's produced, with her Snapper partner, an entire one egg. Bleh! Should have gotten her a starter breed partner, at least the wait time would have been shorter!

Ah, just done some stuff on impulse...

I bought this Bogsneak at the AH for 240 gems - gen 1, when I bought him, he was Skink/Basic/Basic:

Then I used my Spinner scroll on him...

Then I bought a Glimmer scroll and used it on him...

I wonder when regret is going to kick in. :''D

	Just to save y'all the trouble of calculating how long it takes to boil the Bogsneak stuff (including ingredients - except for the goos and sludges, since that comes down to pure luck): You need to spend 23 hours, 10 minutes to make an Egg. Or 46 hours, 20 minutes to make the scroll. [Read more]

Just wanted to share my excitement:

A while ago I got the last draw of prizes from an in-flight raffle: obviously, my choices were very limited - I could get either a piece of writing, another piece of writing, or an adoptable done of one of my dergs. I chose a piece of writing by Wind's one and only paintminion.

Holy broccoli.

Not only was the communication with them great, they were nice, helpful and quite professional. Unfortunately, I couldn't be as involved as I'd have liked (I was cut off the internet for half a week, oops), but still they came up with a wonderful piece of writing that was more than I could've asked for.

The only writing cue I've given them was, other than the short poems by Nessy and the two-liners by myself, was this:
"Treasure is supposed to be like a wind-up toy built out of gold and gems, on the verge of sentience; Smuggler is your typical happy-go-lucky spiral who has a thing for shiny stuff, and as such got infatuated with and became very possessive of Treasure."
