Once you get the quest started, keep paying close attention to what you're reading, as you're given the tools for getting started. Solving the quest may require some trial and error and fiddling around, but you may very well get it "right" accidentally. The things you need to do to solve the quest aren't complicated and the solution isn't long. (There's no need to be wary of any warnings though, you can't mess anything up for yourself during the quest.) Is there anything specific, you need help with, VortexGG? Are you having trouble finding the quest? Or how the quest page works? Or just having trouble finding the correct solution to complete the quest? [Read more] |

@llamaomega123: The specific odds of getting event eggs are not known. However, a pair of the same event pokemon has the highest chance of giving you event eggs according to the Daycare wiki page. @Sauvignonboy: Dittos are quite rare and tricky to get in PH. Generally, there's 3 ways to acquire one: 1. They very rarely show up at Rowan's Lab, but as they're very rare, you have to be quite lucky to be able to snatch one from there. 2. You can buy a ditto egg from the Gem Collector for 10,000 normal gems. However, you have to have ditto in your pokedex to be able to buy the egg so you'd have to find someone willing to lend you a ditto to get the egg. As dittos are rare and valuable, most users would not risk lending theirs for someone they don't trust completely. 3. Lastly, you can simply buy or trade for one from other users. You can search for one at the Global Trade Station or Auction House or look for users willing to part with their ditto at the Global Trade Station subforum. It might take a while to find one up for trade as dittos are quite sought after, but offering a fair price or trade for one should help you out at getting one a lot. (According to the Market Insider, the current value of a ditto is over 3 million PD.) [Read more] |

Also, I'm under the impression that whether the pair is perfect or not does not affect the probability of getting an event egg, it just affects the probability to get an egg. Any egg. So, with more eggs, you obviously have more chances to get event ones and therefore perfecting your pair is a worthwhile goal if you're trying to get multiple event eggs. [Read more] |

During the minigame, the screen will fade in and out/moderately flash as Giratinas appear and disappear all over the screen. Your task is to click a specific number of them before your time runs out. This minigame repeats a couple of times with the number of Giratinas (and the time you're given) increasing each time. After you clear all rounds of the minigame, you get a Spooky Manor Map that you can use to send a pokemon on a rumble mission to receive a Dark Orb. It's a summon item you can use at the Ancient Cave to get a Giratina egg. [Read more] |

If you wanna increase those unknown chances, there's two items that can do that: -> Completing the fourth badge set gives you a Mega Bracelet that permanently raises your chances of hatching a mega, but the specific number of the increase is also not known. -> A Mega Cuff purchasable from the Item Shop raises your chances of hatching a mega by 500% for 30 days. Which is why I'm a bit confused by the claim that the Pokeball and Fancy Vivillons don't count for dex completion as they're listed under Kalos in the dex. (While the Pride Vivillon is definitely an Emera (event) pokemon and not needed for Kalos completion.) [Read more] |
