It wasn't that surprising that Kane ended up having a Greek half-sister. Considering the weirdness that seeped into her life, it was hard to be surprised. Quite suddenly, that grey-eyed girl that stayed by Percy at all times got out a dagger and held it up to Callie's throat. "Explain this," she said calmly. Sadie could respect this girl. They knew how to be calm when they weren't. So Sadie decided to help this person. "Yeah, go ahead and explain," Sadie said, putting magic into her words.

Annabeth needed answers. Now. She had been trying to keep quiet, in a plan to surprise them from behind if they attacked. But now, she really didn't care. "Explain this," she said calmly. She was surprised when the one used some form of charmspeak to back her up. They weren't enemies, hopefully.

Sadie laughed when the hieroglyph failed. "Sadie's the hieroglyph girl," said Carter, "I'm a combat magician. I'm just trying to 'broaden my horizons'. And you're right, I follow the Path of Horus." Sadie wouldn't let Carter take over the conversation that easily. "I follow Isis. My hieroglyphs are much better than his because of that," she said.

That Percy guy was just standing there with absolutely no idea what we were talking about. "We know a Kane Eversley. He's in our Nome. I always thought it was funny how Carter and I's last name is Kane, and this guy's first name is Kane..." Sadie began. "How do you know him?" demanded Carter. Sadie remembered something. "I'm surprised you hadn't heard of my sister and I," he said while grabbing his khopesh out of the Duat, just in case. "We saved the world and all. Well, you aren't like anyone I've ever met. They either try to kill us, or be our friends. We happen to get more of the 'try to kill us' type. You're not trying to kill us, but you guys aren't exactly friendly either," he said, thoughtfully. Carter watched as Sadie tried to dispel the spell that he put on her."We're magicians, if that's what you were asking, and we follow the Path of the Gods." he finished.

Sadie had finally broke free by this time, and was determined to talk more than Carter did. "Yeah," she said, "And Egyptian Magicians sounds pretty catchy." Carter sighed. "That is beside the point," he said. He noted how Callie still had the daggers out. "Ha-tep," Carter said, and the blue hieroglyph for "Be at Peace" glowed above Callie's head. Hopefully, that would work. "Err... it's cool that the spells are blue," Percy said, breaking the temporary silence.

Heritage: Her father, Albert Elm, is a Muggle collage professor that teaches Zoology. Her mother is a Pureblood Ravenclaw "Blood-Traitor" by the name of Eliza (Fox) Elm, who is a high-ranked Auror.
House:

History: Didn't show signs of magic until later in life, (around 9 or so) so many thought she was a Squib, but her mother loved her regardless. When she received her Hogwarts letter she was thrilled. Eliza had taught her all about magic, and at the same time she was teaching Albert.

Personality: Smart and Ravenclawish. If someone makes a grammatical error, she's quick to point it out. Excells at Wizard Chess. Always wanted to play Quidditch, especially to be a Keeper. Shy, but very friendly when you get to know her.

It seemed so empty alone in my office, located in the eastern wing of the HQ. Usually, someone was there, needing to talk to me for some reason. It was quite annoying then, but I missed it somewhat. There had been many casualties in the last war. The emptiness kept reminding me of that. Duskshadow was not ready for warfare with the Lightfall Alliance. I was relieved when we called a cease-fire. When we were stronger, we would fight. But for now, the strategic approach would work best. "Ah, Absol. I know you are itching for combat, but we must wait." I hoped my spy would get through soon. I needed the information of Lightfall's whereabouts.
