Whitestar examined his clan for a while before he began to speak. "I have a few things to say. As you all know, Flintstar was taken away. We may not be able to get her back, so Starclan has granted me my nine lives to continue leading Fruitclan. Now I must appoint a new deputy to assist me." He looks around before looking to the sky. "I say this in front of Starclan, and may they hear and approve of my choice." He meows, turning to look Shadedfur in the eyes. "Shadedfur will be Fruitclan's new deputy. She has proven that she will be able to keep the clan strong and safe, and I wouldnt ever allow my clan to fall into danger." he dipped his head respectfully, beckoning his new deputy forwards. Once again falling silent, he looked at his two kits. "My kits are also ready to be apprenticed. I've thought hard about who I've wanted to mentor them. Snowkit will be apprenticed by Thunderflight. She is a strong and loyal warrior, and I would love for her to pass on her knowledge to my kin. Tundrakit will be apprenticed by Shadedfur. Shes timid, and I would like a strong-willed and brave warrior to train her."

Whitestar stared at the entrance of his clan. So I'm leader now....Flintstar is gone and starclan blessed me with leadership... He shook his head in shock. My mate is gone too...I've lost so much, yet I've gained so much....and hopefully starclan approves of my choice.. He thought to himself, padding into the camp. He hops up onto the hightree and looked over the clearing, before clearing his throat. His kits were at the age of apprenticeship, and he knew who he wanted to be deputy. He felt it was a risky choice, but the cat he had in mind had proved that they were loyal to the clan and they wanted to keep it safe. He looked up and called out to his cats. "Let all cats old enough to catch there own prey gather underneath the hightree for a clan meeting." He smiled as he saw his two kits stumble out from the apprentices den. They were beautiful, and they would make strong warriors.
