(I'm just going to have my characters arrive at school, do they actually sleep in on school dorms or do they live in the human world?)
Ateer landed and loped across the field as he rushed to get to school, if he was late, he was never going to hear the end of it. He slowed to a walk as he neared the front and panted heavily. He shifted into his halfway form and turned as he heard someone ran up. His tail wagged as he noticed his boyfriend come up behind hi. "So you're late too. Altair moved out of the cave and snarled as he saw another Night Fury attack Storm. He lunged forward and attacked the Night Fury.

Sarini watched from a bit far off as some of the dragons attacked the Bewilderbeast. She was surprised that they had the courage and strength to fight off such a powerful Alpha dragon. She moved a bit closer to them, perhaps they would help her.

Cole jumped slightly when the dragon spoke but responded, "I was just walking around. I kind of got lost after my partner was killed and I've just been trying to survive ever since."

Sarini woke up and stretched, giving a big toothy yawn. She took off into the air and flew around the lake. She spotted another dragon flying around and tried to avoid it, but nearly collided with it.

History: Cole was born to a family of hunter's and they didn't take to kindly to have a supernatural as their son. They abused him for a while, then figured out that thye might be able to train him to work against other supernaturals. Cole refused to be broken and was being starved when Ateer found him . Ateer rescued him and took him home with him. Ateer's family raised him as one of their own and when they were 16 they recieved the brochure to Supernatural High.

Other: Due to his past, he's very cautious of others, but fully and completely trusts his mate.
Ateer's family helped Cole see his own soul in a way similar to how they could see theirs. Cole's daemon is named Epsilon and she prefers the from of a Red Tailed Hawk. (Also from Golden Compass, but the second book)
Cole had not been raised to believe in mating for life, but he was willing to do it since he loved Ateer and so is bonded to Ateer.

Cole walked through the forest, trying to find his way around. After losing Aqua, he had gotten himself horrendously lost in the wild forests and was hoping nothing was hungry enough to try to eat him. He gave a sigh and slumped against a tree, he was sure he was going to end up dying because of a hungry dragon. He heard a roar and looked up. He saw a blue Windwalker flying above him. He moved to cover and watched as the dragon landed by the lake. It looked around then crouched and lapped up water.

Sarini looked up as she heard a noise from behind her. She growled at whatever it was, warning it to stay away. When she heard the noise again she flared her wings and took off, she circled around the clearing and saw a Night Fury flying into a cave. She huffed and landed again, settling down to fall asleep.
