Marble, unaware that his former clanmate was around due to the strong scent of strawberries, crashed through the bushes, a mouse skittering away. He let out a soft hiss before spotting the others and he yelps, immediately throwing himself on the ground in a submissive position. Whitestar watched wolfpaw and smiled. "I'll go catch a squirrel." He said, bounding away to do so. After several minutes, he slipped back into the clearing with a live squirrel twitching in his jaws.

Snowpaw nodded and scuttled forwards, picking stems off the branches with her tiny thorn-like teeth.
Just then, she caught the scent of an unfamiliar cat, who strangely smelled like Switchfire. "Whats that Thunderflight?" she hissed.

Whitestar guides her ahead, stopping for a moment before slipping under some bushes that were thick with the scent of fruit.

Snowpaw bounded after her mentor, eventually getting ahead of her, excitedly running to the direction of the river. She could hear its rushing in the distance. she kicks up dirt as she runs, purring as she smelled the sweet tang of the fruit she was seeking. I'll plant a memorial for you Snowflank...you too Flintstar!

Whitestar sat down in his den, facing the wall hunched over. He looked up to the ceiling of his den, his eyes watery with tears. "Flintstar where are you? I cant do this alone...I wasn't ready.." he shivers, straightening up as he gets a surge of confidence. Snowflank and Flintstar would want me to be strong...I'll go hunting to clear my thoughts he sighed, padding out of his den, calling over Briarsting and Ferntail. He paused before calling wolfpaw over as well. If he could teach her some battle moves, and she can prove herself as a warrior today, he would surprise her with her ceremony.

Whitestar called the meeting to a close, hopping down off of the hightree. Firelight looked at Kauri. "You wanna go out with a warrior to collect herbs while I speak to starclan?" he meows urgently, looking around before calling Weaslemask over to ask for his assistance with Kauri.

Tundrapaw looks up at her new mentor. "So are we going t-to go exploring today?" the youn cat squeaked, shivering a little as she stared at her intimidating new mentor.

Firelight looks at her. "I don't think its a dream. Flintstar lost a life to that badger. Snowflank is gone, and Whitestar is definitely leader now....but then again, you may not be completely dead, starclan never touches the earth unless its urgent. You still come around and sit with Whitestar, and you still come to our clan meetings.....I just hope it isnt Whitestar's kits..."
