[Here's mine~]

Show hidden content
Name: Calliope Blitz

Gender: Female

Age: Almost sixteen years old.

Appearance:

Couldn't decide between the three, so yeah. Calliope has the typical black hair (that I give most of my OCs), and unusually bright green eyes. Her fingers are long and slender like a pianist's, and she has a rather skinny frame. Her long black hair is usually let down or tied up in a ponytail. Calliope doesn't care much for her clothes, and usually just throws on a random colored blouse and some worn out jeans, finishing off the look with sneakers. A long pale scar runs from her kneecap to her ankle, which is usually hidden by her jeans. The scar had come from a hellhound that she and the satyr had encountered on the way to camp. The scar was also a symbol of the fact that she knew what she exactly was. Callie sometimes wears glasses because her eyesight isn't perfect, but she often exchanges them for colorless contact lenses.

Personality: A bit shy, but once you get to know her, she'll be one of those people who will happily hug-tackle you and scream "OMG YOU'RE ALIIIIIVE THANK THE GODS", and will proceed to squeeze the life out of you. Her loyalty is unswerving, and she absolutely hates backstabbers. She can be freakily scary when angry, and tends to be very forgetful when excited. Callie hides a dark past beneath her rather happy-go-lucky demeanor, and people around her will constantly notice that she disappears for certain periods of time.

Calliope spends more time with children of Athena than her own siblings. She has the same thirst of knowledge, and gets along quite well with the AOE (for those who haven't read Mark of Athena, one of AOE's meanings are "children of Athena.")

Godly Parent: Hecate, Greek goddess of witchcraft and magic. Considered a minor goddess, despite being Zeus' cousin and having the ability to cross through all three domains of the Big Three.

History: Calliope was born and raised in Sacramento, California, by her single mortal father. She was nine years old when an empousa disguised as her substitute teacher tried to kill her, deeming her more powerful than most children of Hecate. Much to the empousa's surprise, Calliope easily defended herself, having a green belt in both karate and taekwondo at the time. She fended off the blood-sucking monster until her father noticed that she was not home yet at sunset. He quickly guessed what was happening, and arrived just as Calliope was about to be overwhelmed. He tossed his daughter one of the knives that she would later use as her weapons, and she killed the empousa before it could put a spell on her father. They went home as Calliope's father explained what the empousa was and who her mother was. Calliope took the news in a calm manner, but was rather upset when she found out she had to leave her dad behind for Camp Half-Blood. A satyr arrived shortly after to escort Calliope to camp.

Calliope had a difficult journey to get to the camp. For some reason, monsters frequently attacked them. Calliope soon found the answer to these frequent attacks, but kept it to herself in fear of how others would react. Calliope excelled in camp activities, and due to her mixed martial arts training along with her magic and knives, she made a much more formidable opponent that her other siblings, who mostly depended on magic. She only participates in Capture The Flag when Hecate cabin is allied with Athena, refusing to fight the AOE.

Callie somehow gets along with Nico Di Angelo, despite them being polar opposites. She is rather close to most of the AOE, but shies away from anyone else besides her siblings. Callie has never been chosen for a quest, nor has she ever volunteered for one because of certain...reasons.

Primary Weapon: Two wickedly sharp daggers that are about twelve inches in length. She somehow manages to hide these two in the long sleeves of her shirt without accidentally stabbing herself. Of course, she also uses magic, but tries to keep it at the minimum as another secret is another advantage against the enemy.

Secondary Weapon: Calliope herself IS a weapon. She knows basic martial arts, and has learned the special Judo-Flip-An-Annoying-Boy from Annabeth. She used to attend karate and taekwondo lessons at the local sports center, and her father taught her various other fighting styles. She doesn't rely it on much, but when she does go kung-fu panda, it's often because she's angry.

Other: Was cursed by Circe when she was a baby. (Yeah...more on this later, lol.)

[I would like to suggest that you add a History and Age section in the form. My character is almost sixteen, has spent almost six years at Camp Half-blood.]

Rhine couldn't help smile at the purple-haired girl's enthusiasm. "It is pretty cool," She admitted. The tiger tail didn't bother her much - she'd seen freakier savvys. "And social interaction is kinda hard to describe. But anyway, what do you think the authorities even do with people like us when they're captured? My parents won't tell me, so it's probably something really horrible."

Remembering the Quartzel girl from before, or whatever her last name was, Rhine's smile faded a bit. How'd she end up unconscious beside Rhine anyway?

Meh, we still need a name for the org, but we could come up with that as we go along. 'Course, a few NPC deaths here and there, someone unleashing their savvy accidentally, and I /might/ just force my characters to go to normal school. I think we should go with an unknowing savvy holder NPC getting killed by one of the org's cronies in a public place. It gets classified as a normal street murder, and our characters end up hearing it from either their parents or some other source. Someone rather foolishly goes to investigate, nearly gets captured, another char has followed them, helps them, manages to escape from the org's evil clutches.

but hey, just one of the few storylines we could go through. that one I used is a little too common and a little cliche. Just to give you guys an idea of how we could make this end up as a human vs savvy holder war, with traitors and rats in both groups.

As for involving the scientists, like, get a random NPC savvy holder to use their savvy in public, unnamed org for now finds out, character gets chased, meets another savvy character, either dies or makes it to the neighborhood severely injured. Or another idea, captured savvy holder escapes, finds another char, they make it to the neighborhood, and the previous prisoner ends up knowing a LOT about the org's plans. Once again, just another idea. We could just shuffle through all of them until we find one best suitable for our characters, but hey, walk the walk while talking the talk. Action and words at the same time, leggo~ my opinion anyway. as you can see this was typed in a hurry xP Anyway, opinions, ideas, suggestions, and other random things?

Okay, Death and Misalia have given their opinions and suggestions on the intro. Misalia has brought up the possibility of the spies in the as of now unnamed organization. While on the subject, I came up with a random story/thingy, introducing a now dating Ledger Kale and Sarah Jane Cabot, and a twelve year old Fedora Kale soon to have her savvy. SJ, having sources being a renowned journalist at the mere age of eighteen, reveals a little bit on what the org has caused. Credit to Misalia for the health undercover thing.

5 years after the events of "Scumble"....

The news was buzzing with reports of a tremendous explosion in the middle of New York City. Hundreds dead, and thousands injured. The government claims it is a terrorist attack, but there has been no evidence found to confirm this.

18-year-old Ledger Kale scowled as his not-so-little sister Fedora snatched his coffee mug. "I was drinking that!" He protested.

The twelve year old mischievous girl leaped away before her brother could grab hold of the mug. With a irritated sigh, Ledger splayed his hand, snatching the mug from her.

"Nooooo fair! Mom, Ledger's using his savvy again for personal gain!" Fe wailed. Fe's sixth grade teacher was a firm believer in not using your talents for personal gain.

Dinah Kale looked at her two children from across the room, shaking her head. "Fe, stop bothering your brother. He's only here one day a week," She gave Fedora her savvy smile.

Struggling to resist her mother's puppeteer powers, Fedora slumped down on the couch, pouting. Ledger suppressed a triumphant grin. His savvy was quite useful; being able to break things apart and build them again. Especially metal. He glanced down at his mug, which had a metal hold. He shrugged and was taking a sip when his phone rang. He set down his coffee before answering.

"Ledge!" It was Sarah Jane Cabot, Ledge's current girlfriend.

"SJ? What happened?" Ledge immediately asked, concerned. When SJ used that tone, something serious had happened.

"You've seen the news right? Explosion right in the heart of New York City?" SJ inquired rapidly, her voice lacking her usual enthusiasm when discussing the news.

"Yeah. It interrupted Fe's cartoons," Ledge replied.

"Ooooh, is that SJ? Can I talk to her?" The aforementioned girl said excitedly.

Ledge shushed her and continued to listen. "Bad news. It wasn't the terrorists. It was one of us."

Ledge froze, his heart seemingly stopping for a moment. When he finally regained some control over his vocal chords, he croaked out, "What?"

"Eleven year old boy named Isaiah Smith. Savvy father, lives with his mother. Parents out of wedlock. His savvy was unlocked too early," SJ frantically explained.

"Oh God. If the other reporters get a hold of this-" Ledge didn't finish the thought. It was way too sudden and frightening.

"You don't need to worry about them. I wrote an article on it. What we need to be worry about is that private organization that's been tracking and attacking savvy people," SJ assured him.

SJ's savvy was that she could write anything - be it about aliens making pies or the end of the world - and anyone who read it would believe it. She didn't just pursue a career in journalism for her own interests - it helped the savvy population to stay hidden. Ledge was relieved only for a moment, before lowering his voice to a whisper. "Have they caught anyone?"

SJ hesitated only for a moment before speaking. "Whole family brutally murdered. Their house was burned, and their other relatives were hunted down as well, savvy or not. Their daughter might have been taken. Chinese family in England, dead. Missing daughter as well. And a little too convenient car crash in Japan. Missing son. A somewhat suspicious fire killed another family. Two teenagers unaccounted for."

"My God," was all Ledger could manage.

"We do have a lead though. Kinzie McCallahan and Michael Coldstone. Remember those two?" SJ continued.

"Yeah. Fire and earth manipulation. Girlfriend and boyfriend, lived somewhere in Kansas. Why? Has anything happened to them too?"

"What was left of their bodies was found in the middle of a road in Nebraska. We found other bodies. Men wearing black clothing. Black cars. The two killed themselves in the process of getting rid of them," SJ's voice was muffled, as if she was holding back tears.

Fedora let out a shriek as the coffee mug shot across the room, smashing into pieces against the wall. Ledger exhaled before speaking again. "The government is involved?"

"No. I managed to get some info. It's a private heath organization working on various cures for different kinds of diseases. It seems like they have a secret agenda," SJ said, anger washing over her words.

"Any more bad news?" Ledger asked shakily.

"There is some good news, actually. Remember the Aaronsons from Wisconsin? The ones who manage the portal network?"

"Yeah."

"They've managed to track down some of the missing kids. They're currently residing in a hidden location only accessible by the portals."

"Damn. Didn't know Agatha and Garrett were that good," Ledger whistled. "Anything else?"

"Yes. We're going on a date. That restaurant in front of our flat," SJ said simply, hanging up.

Ledger flushed bright pink at their secret code. Fe saw his face and squealed. "MOM! LEDGER'S THINKING NAUGHTY THOUGHTS!"

Rhine was oblivious to the two other girls' conversation, as she was trying to repair her mental shields. They had been completely shattered, giving Rhine quite the headache. The painkillers had helped her, but the mental pain she could barely stand. She exhaled and inhaled several times as she strengthened the shields. She had just regained use of her senses when Agatha toppled out of a portal about five feet away. The older woman walked over to them, sweat beading her forehead.

"I see you are all getting along," Agatha said cheerfully. "Blix, dear, you're cleared. Pick any empty house in the streets. Most of them are unoccupied."

A phone began to ring, and Agatha looked down at her hand (which was for some reason STILL holding her phone). She frowned, and answered. "Hello?"

Agatha paled at whatever the caller had said, and when Rhine glanced at her hands, she noticed they were shaking. "I-I see. I'll be right there."

Agatha let out a shaky sigh as she let her hand drop to her side. "I would really like to show you and the boy around the neighborhood, Blix, but I'm afraid duty calls."

Rhine's forehead creased in confusion. "What happened?"

"A seven year old in Washington, D.C. just gained her savvy. She froze an entire building. I must go and try to help the others stop the authorities from getting to her," Agatha said grimly.

She tried to smile at the three girls before hopping into another portal. Rhine was slightly surprised at her sudden disappearance. She then stumbled to her feet; her headache was slowly disappearing and the visions had stopped blurring her sight. She turned to the other two girls, the one who Agatha called Blix and a curly-haired redhead. "So, um, not the ideal situation I want to meet new people, but hi. My name's Rhine. I'm a psychic," She offered a nervous smile, holding out her hand.

(Blix just climbed down a hill in a matter of minutes........serious energy o.O)

Rhine looked confusedly at the random purple-haired girl who had randomly appeared and given her painkillers. "Um..yeah, I guess," Rhine said tiredly.

Her body felt much better, but her mind was still in pain. She winced slightly as she repaired her mental shields, preventing any more visions. She finally noticed the unconscious girl lying near her.

"Oh my God!" A voice cried. Agatha Aaronson came into view, panting slightly.

"Oh dear," She murmured as she saw the girl's unconscious form. She then turned to Rhine. "Are you alright, sweetie?"

Rhine nodded uncertainly. "Why are you here in the neighborhood? I thought you were busy searching for other savvy people."

Agatha waved her hand which held a phone carelessly. "I came to visit Miss Quarappelz here to see how she was faring," She gestured towards the unconscious girl. "Poor girl hides away from society. Her savvy isn't quite...stable."

"Her savvy?" Rhine asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.

"Energy manipulation," Agatha said darkly, bending down to check the girl's temperature. "Oh, a little bed rest and she'll be fine. Be back in a flash."

Agatha waved her hand once more, a portal suddenly enveloping her and the Quarappelz girl.

Mattie found the source of the screaming - a dark-haired girl writhing in pain on a lawn. She landed unsteadily by her, ignoring the redhead who was nearby. Placing her hand on the screaming girl's forehead, she painfully began to remove the energy. Mattie's body felt like it was on fire, and it was all she could do to keep herself from screaming in pain. The girl's screams had reduced to mere panting and whimpers, but her eyes were still tightly shut. When she took back the last bit of energy, Mattie fell backwards, and let out a frightening primal cry. It was a cry that should have never come from a human. With the last bit of her strength, Mattie transformed the brainwaves into something more...physical. The energy escaped her, and shot upwards towards the clouds, becoming fireworks.

"I am so not getting groceries later..." Mattie thought just as she passed out.

~~~
The pain began to dissipate, not fast enough in Rhine's opinion. She began to build her mental shields as most of the pain disappeared, and finally managed to open her eyes soon after. She blinked, dots dancing across her vision as she tried to sit up. She managed to make out another girl lying n the grass, clearly unconscious before a wave of nausea hit her. She gasped, doing her best not to throw up right there.
"H-help..." She weakly cried as everything seemed to become yellow in her eyes.
(this is so short it's embarrassing..........)
Bastion and Blix are talking on my character Mattie's lawn (ok wut THIS ISN'T A PARTY GET OFFFFFF ME LAWN) Juust kidding. Nobody else has moved Agatha so she is still on the phone arranging a house for Blix and Bastion. That pretty much sums up the current events...I think?
Edit: Just going to ask for everyone's opinion on this.
Two teenagers slowly walked down the road, shivering against the cold winter air. The road was dimly lit by the flickering lampposts, and it was eerily quiet. One of the teenagers stopped abruptly, and her companion turned to look at her.
"Kinzie, you know we can't stay here in the dark," Her companion reminded her.
"It's s-s-so cold. We've been running for days. Can't we rest even for a little bit, Mike? I'm tired," Kinzie whimpered.
Mike took her by the arm, and gently pulled her. "We're all tired. But if we stop, they'll find us."
"C-can't I just make some fire at least?" Kinzie pulled one of her gloves off, and a flame sputtered to life in her hand.
"Kinzie, no!"
Alarms began to blare all around them, and black cars zoomed out of nowhere, surrounding the two. Mike took hold of Kinzie's hand again, squeezing it. She knew what that squeeze meant. A tear fell from her eye, dropping to the ground.
And as the Fist of the Scientific's cronies approached them, Kinzie removed the glove from her free hand. With a defiant scream, Kinzie manipulated her body heat, making flames circle her and Mike. Mike had thrown off one of his gloves, and he raised the hand that wasn't holding on to Kinzie's. The ground began to tremble, and walls of stone rose out of the road, pushing the men back. The flames rose even higher, and the previously cold winter air had grown uncomfortably warm.
"We'll go down fighting!" Mike shouted over all the noise, letting go of Kinzie and throwing off his winter jacket and hat.
"Second that!" Kinzie shouted, throwing her hat and jacket to the fire. Their belongings no longer mattered. Death had come to claim them. Both teenagers turned to each other, their eyes locking.
"You better marry me, dead or alive, heaven or hell," Kinzie stated matter-of-factly.
A smile found its way onto Mike's face. "No arguments there," He said, leaning in.
Their lips touched, and a shield of stone and fire completely shrouded the entire road. Cars exploded, screams were heard, and their pursuers died one by one in the explosion. A lone black car managed to escape, and it watched the chaos from afar.
"May God have mercy on your cursed souls," A man murmured, raising the car window.
Name: Kinzie McCallahan
Age: 17
Savvy: Manipulating heat energy
Name: Michael Coldstone
Age: 17
Savvy: Manipulating any form of rock
The man mentally crossed off their names in his list. The hunt had only begun.
So um yeah, I was bored I needed a proper intro for the RP, and came up with this. How does "The Fist of the Scientific" sound for an evil org? o-o I need names, lol, couldn't think of anything better.
Rhine blinked as Crystal walked out the door, quite randomly. She shrugged, and after a few minutes, decided to return to her house. It felt a little creepy standing in someone else's house.
She leaped out the door of the Wolven house quickly. Crystal had disappeared rather a little too quickly, but Rhine shrugged it off. She was halfway across her own lawn when something struck her mentally. Rhine let out a scream as pain shocked her entire body, falling down on the ground. This wasn't a vision. This was another mental force pulsing with so much energy Rhine's shields couldn't keep it out. The shields shattered and Rhine's screams reached maximum volume as she writhed in pain on the grass. The visions she had previously blocked charged her, and her mind was a jumbled up painful mess.
~~~

As Mattie felt her anger dissipate, she noticed her fingers were getting tingly. "Oh no, no, no," She panicked. "Not now! Not-"

Waves of energy that had long since plagued her after those horrifying experiments shocked her. Mattie struggled to bind the energy, and keeping a tight hold on it, before slowly changing its form. It slowly transformed into brainwaves, which was a kind of energy. Mattie had been plagued with sudden energy boosts like this ever since the scientists overloaded her with all kinds of energy sources, and the first time it had happened, she had destroyed an entire building. She eventually learned to convert them into brainwaves, after a lot of painful scumbling sessions. Sending out them as brainwaves barely affected people, and was the least destructive way of releasing energy.

The blood pounding in her ears quickly stopped as she released the energy now in brainwaves form. After a few minutes, she regained control of her breathing. It was only then did she hear the pained screaming from somewhere in the neighborhood. Mattie's eyes widened, her emotionless mask disappearing. She rushed out her door, the screams becoming louder and louder. Blix and the strange boy were talking, while Agatha was still on the phone.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid!" Mattie let her panic show. "Mind-related savvy people! ****!"

She didn't bother to check how the three on her lawn reacted. She snapped her arms outward, forcing the wind to fly her down the hill to the source of the screaming.

(And glad that location thing is cleared up :3)

Mattie and Agatha quickly noticed the sudden appearance of the wolf ears and tail. Agatha had a normal reaction: wide unbelieving eyes. Mattie, on the other hand, stared blankly, inwardly sighing with relief. A shapeshifter - of course. No wonder she was so random; she had to keep her humanity while being transformed. It was kind of difficult not to go hunting for mice when a cat. The natural instincts of shapeshifting to other things must have molded her random personality, or she was just really naturally random. Either way, Mattie was relieved she had a savvy.

"I think you should get her a house, Agatha. She's homeless," Mattie told the middle-aged woman with no emotion whatsoever.

Agatha nodded, only partly hearing. "Of course..just...let me make a few calls."

With that, she took a phone out of the pocket of her jeans and began to dial a number. Mattie studied Blix blankly for a moment before speaking again. "You have wolf ears and a tail right now, and I think you might be scaring the person underneath you."

Mattie gestured towards the chairs and table on her porch, making them zoom onto the lawn. They arranged themselves properly in mid-air, then plopped down on the grass right in front of Mattie. "Sit before the grass dies. I'm not good with living things," Mattie muttered before marching off into her house and slamming the door close.

(Wooow. Blix is seriously random XD)

"And I see you've been using the network! I can feel a huge amount of activity within the portals. It's rather unusual," Agatha continued.

Matilda had scrambled to her feet and was about to reply when she noticed something out of the corner of her eye. For Mattie's part, she seemed to have no reaction to out-of-this-world kind of surprises, because she merely sidestepped as Blix and the boy from the street came tumbling out of nowhere and landing exactly where Mattie was ten seconds ago.

Agatha's eyes widened in surprise at the two teenagers' sudden appearance on Mattie's front lawn. "You found others?" She breathed, genuinely curious.

"The girl with purple hair is Blix, and I think she has a savvy. That boy though, I have no clue," Mattie admitted before turning to give Blix a death glare. "There is a fifty percent chance you just caused the genocide of the whole savvy population by bringing him here. My senses were right after all. Someone else was there."

A hand was gently placed on Mattie's shoulder. "There is no need to worry, Matilda. I know several friends who can easily wipe memories of such incidents. How do you think we've survived for so long?" Agatha assured her.

Matilda seemed to relax slightly, and Agatha took away her hand. The adult woman then fixed a stern gaze on the two new teenagers. "Now out with it, you two. Do you have a savvy or not? Your answer will severely affect your future, and I assure you, all of our kind wish no harm towards normal people."

Mattie coughed. "Well, except for Miss Quarappelz here and some others. But they do have their reasons. There are people out there wanting to use us as guinea pigs; you cannot expect some of us to just stand there and accept it."

Mattie glanced behind her, frowning as she saw nothing except Blix. "Funny...I could have sworn I felt some kind of energy in the air. Eh, must be my savvy going crazy again," Mattie thought uneasily.

Mattie splayed her hands, and with another lazy flick of her wrists, blew away the dust out the window. When the dust cloud cleared, she glanced at the purple-haired Blix. The girl definitely didn't mean any harm towards the savvy population, though she did say her father was a scientist or something. And besides, she already knew about savvys, as Mattie rather naively told her about them. Probably enough info to access the portal network.

"This window is a portal. A woman named Agatha Aaronson created a whole portal network leading to all kinds of places. She's one of the savvy population. She's also the founder of the savvy neighborhood, a quiet getaway for people who have a savvy - like us, if I'm right about you. And the funny thing is," She gestured towards the now clean window, "windows are used as portal entrances. You can jump off the fifth floor of a building through a window and end up in the middle of Dublin. But most of the portals lead to the neighborhood. The key to activating them is either knowing about savvys, or," She paused, "having a savvy yourself."

And with that, she ran up to the window and put her hand through it. The view outside disappeared, and was replaced with a swirling vortex that couldn't seem to stay in one color. She felt the portal tugging at her, trying to get her to jump through. Without looking back to see Blix's reaction, she leaped upwards and through the portal.

There was that tingling and queasy sensation of being portaled, and Mattie rolled over some grass, panting. She opened her eyes, and was met with the sight of her house in the savvy neighborhood and a concerned looking thirty year old woman with platinum blonde hair and warm brown eyes.

"Matilda! I'm surprised to see you out of your house!" Agatha smiled warmly at her.

(Note: Agatha's an NPC if you guys forgot. Y'all can control her, whoopeeee~")

Mattie turned left just right before reaching the other three people on the sidewalk, and examined the building in front of her. It was old, it was seemingly haunted, and it had plenty of windows without glass. "Perfect place," Mattie thought, "for an entrance to the neighborhood.

With no hesitation, she broke in the rusted door with a little air manipulation and walked inside. Mattie didn't bother to check her surroundings, and walked towards the nearest window, which made light stream inside the dusty and dark building.

Mattie studied the cheerful, optimistic purple-haired girl in front of her. "Energy manipulation. That's my savvy," Mattie explained with no enthusiasm whatsoever. "Mrs. Aaronson should've finished wiring that security system now. Let's see if the house allows you."

With that said, Mattie turned on her heel, walking down the road towards a bleeding teenage boy holding a roll of ace bandages, another teenage boy who seemed seriously annoyed, and the girl who was trying to burst everyone's eardrums previously. "Hopefully she gets the hint to follow me," Mattie thought blankly.

Mattie shook her head slowly. This girl was something else. "Savyy. Power. Abilities. Superpowers. Superheroes. Supernatural. People always trying to dissect you and you have to hide. Ring a bell?" She barely noticed the shouts coming from the little girl across the road. Some teenage boy had somehow managed to shut her up by handing her something, but Mattie was focused on Blix's reaction.

"If I'm right, then I have a savvy too. I don't have to worry about you tattling to the government about me if you're not part of the savvy population," Mattie said darkly.

Mattie flicked her wrist towards a nearby bench. There was a large CRACK, and the bench split cleanly in half. A lot more noisily than Mattie wanted it to be, but it wasn't like anyone else had noticed her flicking her wrist.

~~~
Rhine shook her head. "Nah, I'm not hungry yet. It's fine," She waved her hand carelessly and another nearby chair melted a little. "Ohhhh, crap!" She muttered, trying to stop herself from conjuring up any more illusions accidentally.
Her savvy went haywire occasionally when she was excited. It rather unfortunately happened at the most terrible moments. "Leave it to the most emotional one in the family to get a psychic savvy," Rhine muttered, mostly to herself.
