Badgertail noticed Creamstar entering the camp and spotted a small kitten riding atop the elegant leader's back. The sun reflected strongly off of something on the kitten: cautiously, the tom approached Creamstar, dipping his head respectfully toward her, then getting a closer look at the kitten. Around its neck was a vine of sorts--this, he remembered, was a collar. Ashpaw had been wearing one when he came into the forest as well. Badgertail managed to catch the tidbit about this kitten's name, Dianne, and that apparently she would be a new member of the Clan. As the kitten climbed down from the leader's back and made a beeline for the fresh-kill pile, Badgertail jumped slightly and flattened his ears, surprised by Dianne's sudden movement.

Badgertail woke up with the sun shining on his face. Angling his head so the sun could not blind him, he stood up and stretched his limbs. The black-and-white tom stepped outside of the warriors' den finally. A few other cats were up and about, and others were likely already on patrol. Shaking his head quickly, he began to groom himself, licking his paw and drawing it over his ear.

Ashpaw had been lying awake for some time, procrastinating for as long as possible. He liked training, yes, but some mornings he didn't want to do anything--and today happened to be one of those mornings.

[Ah, by the way, Ashpaw needs a mentor. Volunteers? ^w^]

History: Ashpaw has kittypet lineage and ran away from home at 6 moons old with one of his brothers, Jack. Jack decided to drop out of this escapade when they got a little bit into the forest, and turned back, while inquisitive Ashpaw (called Oliver at the time) kept going and came upon LightClan. He joined LightClan without hesitation and has been training since.

Other: I hope having a kittypet-born character is fine. If not, I'll make him a normal, Clan-born cat.
