[*has finished reading teh updated first post* Ooook, incoming long post. When I say long, I mean long.]

Running.

They had been running for weeks. Somehow, those bounty hunters were always hot on their heels. Eat, sleep, run. This had become Derek and Reyna's lifestyle. Their clothes were dirty, their food supply low, and the pegasi could barely stand, much less run anymore.

It was a silent night, and Derek jumped at every small noise. They had taken refuge in some forest in California for the time being. The place had a somewhat comfortable feel to it, for no apparent reason. Of course, the bounty hunters weren't too far off. Reyna had managed to detain them by surrounding the place with traps, and she determined that it would give them a few days of rest. Derek had lit a small fire, and both Fantasies and the pegasi sat by it, trying to forget that they were freezing.

Reyna had taken it upon herself to sharpen their weapons, and besides the loud noise of a sword on a whetstone, the night was eerily quiet. Derek was attempting to heal the pegasi again, but his powers were much weaker during the night. With a frustrated sigh, Derek plopped to his makeshift bed of sticks and leaves. A stick poked at his tired back, and he proceeded to let out a groan, catching Reyna's attention.

She glanced up from her work wearily, obviously tired. Derek locked eyes with her as he sat up once more, stroking Theseus' injured wing. "Don't you ever get tired of running?"

Reyna bit her lip, letting some emotion show briefly before answering. "All the time," was her quiet reply.

Derek ran a hand through his already very messy brown hair before speaking again. "Me too. Sometimes I dream of other people like us, but so far it's only you and me."

One of the good qualities of Reyna was that she never laughed at him. Most people would laugh at him for being open with his thoughts, but Reyna didn't. In fact, she only ever laughed when he was making jokes. Reyna looked back at the sword she was sharpening. "That is quite a possibility. But we can't dwell on hopeful thoughts."

"That, is depressingly true," Derek sighed.

Derek and Reyna had met back in Minnesota, where they were both being chased by bounty hunters. They'd decided to join forces to give each other a better chance at survival, though they didn't get along at first. Eventually, Reyna's dark no-nonsense personality grew on Derek's playful and joking attitude. Both of them had similar opinions, they quickly realized. They soon stumbled upon the stable where the mistreated pegasi were, and both made a split-second decision to free them. Ironically, Derek had chosen Theseus, the black one, while Reyna took Cliantha, the white one. Though neither could fly, they could still run extremely fast, smashing all obstacles with their magical horns. The pegasi proved useful companions, and comforting friends to both Fantasies. Instead of running off to the wild, they loyally followed Derek and Reyna.

Back when they had first met, Derek was shocked in learning Reyna had control over darkness. He expected her to wear goth clothes and have depressing opinions. Reyna, instead, wore silver clothing and was fairly logical with her opinions. Reyna had been the reason why Derek decided to never believe stereotypes again. Reyna, though she rarely ever showed emotion, was equally surprised that Derek had control over light. Though his personality suited his powers, Derek didn't seem like the type who would wield balls of glowing light.

Both Fantasies had weapons. Bow and arrows for Reyna, and a sword for Derek. They made a surprisingly good team, as either were fine with both defense and offense. Both had skill and talent in wielding their chosen weapons, making some bounty hunters back off a bit.

"How long can we stay here?" Derek broke the silence.

Reyna shrugged, keeping her eyes on the sword. "A week, give or take a day. That is, assuming they don't break through the traps I set for them."

Just as she had finished talking, she finished sharpening Derek's sword. With a gesture, the shadows gathered and plopped it back on Derek's lap. With another gesture, the shadows formed around the whetting stone, slowly making it disappear into what Derek called "Reyna's Shadow Storage of Doom."

Reyna was organizing their supplies when there was a loud boom. The sound of Reyna's traps breaking. Derek instinctively teleported their things into their hands as Reyna urged the pegasi to stand and run. There was the distant sound of shoes crunching on sticks, and both Fantasies ran.

"I thought you said we'd be safe for a week!" Derek shouted as he dodged an arrow that came from behind.

"I did! I didn't expect them to break my traps that easily!" Reyna replied as she began to run backwards, firing back silver arrows with deadly accuracy. There were a few screams of pain as they met their mark.

The pegasi ran gracefully alongside them, much stronger after gaining a few hours of rest. With a timed leap, Derek jumped onto Theseus' back, as the pegasus split a tree in half with his horn. Reyna quickly followed, doing a backwards somersault to land on Cliantha while firing even more arrows. Derek didn't know how long they ran, as it seemed like eternity.

Some time later, they burst into a clearing where an ancient pine tree stood in the middle. Reyna was still firing arrows, but now they were accompanied with streaks of shadows that made their victims scream as it sliced through their skin. Derek was following up with light blasts, though they didn't do much damage, as his powers were considerably weaker during the night. Theseus and Cliantha pummeled straight at the ancient pine tree, which Derek and Reyna didn't give much thought. To their surprise, their surroundings blurred as both pegasi's horns touched the trunk of the tree.

In their surprise, Derek and Reyna fell off the pegasi's backs and onto a notably softer ground. The pegasi immediately halted and turned to come back for them. Both Fantasies were in a very awkward position. Derek had propped himself up with his elbows as Reyna lay beneath him. Both flushed a bright red, immediately getting up to their feet and muttering apologies.

"Where...are we?" Reyna finally said out loud, taking in their new surroundings.

[I dare you to tell me that wasn't long. -stare-]

Rhine nibbled on the last piece of chocolate Blix had given her, and followed the hyper girl warily into the house. Blix had shapeshifted into a sleek panther, and was now jumping all over the furniture.

The house had a similar layout to her house, Rhine noticed. It was fully furnished, leaving Rhine to guess that someone who worked for Agatha had a money related savvy. She glanced around before carefully sitting on a couch Blix the panther seemed to have missed jumping on.

"So uh, how'd you end up homeless?" Rhine tried to start a conversation.

[I'm sorry I forgot to mention that when I'm inspired, I tend to write a very long form for my characters....and my first post in an RP is always frigging long. [Despite the facts that I'm currently striving to keep my own RP alive on PH, and trying to recruit people on a different website, and I'm RPing in all three and trying to keep stuff organized (teeechnically four but the fourth seems to have died), I'd really like to join this one. The problem is, I see that there is no accepted forms list (that list really helps especially when describing other people's expected reactions/appearances/personalities) plus you guys have RPed almost 23 pages now and it's kind of difficult to shove a char even if given a detailed recap. Soooo, is there anybody willing to give me a recap and a list of all current RPers active and inactive? Sorry if I sound a bit bossy...it's just that *clutches head* I CAN'T READ THROUGH TWENTY-TWO PAGES AND BE EXPECTED TO REMEMBER EVERYONE'S PERSONALITIES AND APPEARANCES AND POWERS. Sorry once more, this RP sounds quite interesting (PLUSITINVOLVESPOWERSANDSTUFFSANDMAGICILOVETHOSEKINDSOFRPS). Pretend you didn't read that. I'm being quite random at this time of night. Anyways, here's my sort-of-forms-that-are-not-quite-likely-to-be-accepted.

Show hidden content
Name: Reyna Crete Hayden (Doon't judge, I took random names.)

Age: 14, turning 15 in like a week or so-so

Appearance: She's fairly shorter than most girls her age, but the look in her eye immediately makes you forget she's only 4'5". Her hair is an uncommon color of a mix between clear blue skies and dark gray and almost black storm clouds, which is often in a French braid and over her left shoulder. Her eyes are a startling bright green that seem to read your soul. Reyna has deathly pale skin over her short, skinny frame, but she is surprisingly stronger than she looks. Reyna's face is shaped nicely, not too stretched and not too pudgy, while her fingers are long and slender, as she knows how to play the piano. A few bangs hang loosely from her braid, framing her face and making her look older than she is.

Reyna often dons an outfit consisting of silvery camo pants, a snow-white shirt, and black combat boots. This is sometimes accompanied with a silver jacket, and only her summer gear. During the cold seasons, she exchanges the silver jacket for a silver ski one, and her camo pants for blue jeans. (PJO anyone? XD)

Category(Darkness, Light, Weather or Nature): Despite her silver gear? Darkness.

How long has(your RP character) been at camp: Just coming into camp along with Derek.

Weapon(NOT optional): She has two silver Egyptian khopeshes strapped to her back, and (once again) a silver bow and a quiver full of (SURPRISE...not) silver arrows that never seem to run out. Sometimes she has a sheathed sword strapped to her belt, but she usually sticks to her khopeshes and arrows. (Note: Khopeshes are Egyptian sickle swords typically 20-24 inches in length. Reyna only uses them when the opponent is up close, as her arrows are at a disadvantage.)

Name: Derek McKinley (I hope you don't mind if I do a little romance subplot....)

Age: 15

Appearance: (I'm a bit lazy now sooo basic description.) Derek has windswept brown hair with electric blue eyes that make you feel uncomfortable. He has pale skin, but not as pale as Reyna's. He's of average height for his age, though his confidence sometimes makes people think of him as taller. Black combat boots, random t-shirts, and pants. Derek's not too picky with his choice of clothes, as long as they cover him up decently. He's fairly muscled, and only stronger than Reyna by a bit, which is shocking.

Category(Darkness, Light, Weather or Nature): OMG OMG OMG LOOK LOOK A LIGHT GETTING ALONG WITH A DARKNESS. Light, dur.

How long has(your RP character) been at camp: Coming to camp with Reyna.

Weapon(NOT optional): Reyna goes with the bow, he goes for the swords. Two iron hunting knives are strapped to his belt, and he wields a wicked sharp sword of unknown metal. Derek's father was a swordsman, and thus Derek is a natural with swords. Derek uses the knives first, and if they are taken from him, switches to his sword.

Other very random stuff: Both have pegasi with them. Reyna's pegasus is named Cliantha, and she has large, beautiful snow-white wings. Cliantha's body is colored a grayish-white, and her wings are large enough to use as blankets. Her hooves, however, are an uncommon color of silver-gray. She also has a silver unicorn horn on her forehead (muahahahah pegasi-unicorn hybrid. PJO AND HoO UNITE!) Her horn is magical, and easily breaks anything it has pierced. However, Cliantha's left wing is injured, thus she cannot fly for now. Derek has tried to use his Light powers to heal, but it wasn't enough. Cliantha was found along with her brother, Theseus, in a stable whose owner mistreated them as they were magical. She and her brother were forced to help in mining, as their horns could smash anything it pierced.

Theseus is a midnight black pegasus with the same color for his wings. His wings are as huge as Cliantha's, and can easily wrap his body with it. His unicorn horn is a blue-black color, and like Cliantha's, can pierce anything. Like Cliantha, one of Theseus' wings are damaged, thus not allowing him to fly. Theseus' hooves are a dark brown, almost black. Derek tried to heal Theseus as well, but failed.

Rhine nodded absentmindedly. The vision had shaken her quite badly. She exhaled and savored the somewhat bitter flavor of the dark chocolate. "I hope that girl's okay...Damn my future sight," Rhine thought worriedly.

Unbeknownst to Rhine, her parents had arrived at the neighborhood, via portal, looking for her. "Now Verity...Rhine's a good girl. She'll be fine. Probably meeting the neighbors," Elijah assured his wife.

Just then, they spotted their daughter a few houses away. "See?" Elijah sighed in relief. "Meeting the neighbors."

Callie frowned at the older boy's pale face. He seemed to be frightened by something, and there was faraway look in his eyes. "Hey...you okay?"

The look on his face reminded Callie a lot about- Bad Callie. No thinking about that," She scolded herself mentally.

Nightmares. She'd been plagued by them since she found out her secret. The sun destroyed, cities dying, and a large gigantic snake that was very familiar to her. Callie couldn't help shuddering at the memory of it. She visited her father once or twice, and she had shared her nightmares with him.

"A large snake? That's Egyptian mythology, Cal. It's some sort of monster that involves chaos," Her father, who taught mythology, told her. "I believe it's called Apophis. I'm not sure though, you know I mostly focus on Greek and Roman."

Apophis. The name haunted her for days, and the curse didn't help at all. Oh, that wicked witch Circe. That stupid curse. The stupid heritage!

A curse to last till the end of your days...And only one thing can break it..

Callie mentally slapped herself. "'Kay, Cal. No more thinking about the stupid things the gods cursed you with. Move on," She muttered, momentarily forgetting that Percy was in front of her.

Her eyes widened and she stuttered, "U-uh, I'll be going now," then dashed off to the Athena cabin. "Stupid, stupid, stupid," She mentally screamed t herself. She just had to let something slip in front of the savior of Olympus, and one of the most powerful demigods living.

She slipped through the door to the Athena cabin, noting that most were still asleep. A familiar blonde, however, was propped up on her bed, reading some Ancient Greek book on architecture. Daedalus' laptop sat next to her.

So absorbed she was in her thoughts or her book, she didn't notice Callie until the latter had sat on her bed. "Your Seaweed Brain is looking for you. Think he's going to propose?" Callie joked.

"Mint and dark, please," Rhine said. "I've never tasted mint, and dark is my mum's favorite."

Rhine was just reaching for a piece of chocolate when something broke through her still rather weakened shields.

"Get the hell away from her!" A blue-haired girl shouted at a man who had a gun pressed against a little girl's temple. "Touch her and you're dead!"

Blueish-white flames seemed to envelop the girl's body as she clenched her fists. A scream rose from her mouth and the ground began to tremble. Debris began to fall from the dark ceiling, wherever they were.

Rhine snapped back to reality, her shields having managed to shove the vision out. Her eyes felt oddly warm, and Rhine guessed they had been glowing. But what bothered her most was the girl in the vision. She had looked exactly like the unconscious girl Agatha had taken away.

Rhine was more mentally exhausted than physically, but she did like chocolate. "Chocolate? Can I have a square?"

The house was pretty nice, somewhat similar to her family's. As far as Rhine knew, two savvy people had manipulated water and electricity into the neighborhood, so they never really had any blackouts. "So you pick this house, then? I like the color."

Callie emerged from the woods, rather guiltily munching on a ham sandwich. "If they caught me, I'm good as dead."

She couldn't stand waiting for breakfast, and she had gone to...someone who gave her food. As she finished off the sandwich, she brushed the crumbs off her dark blue blouse, trying not to make it obvious that she had already eaten. Maybe her siblings had finally woken up, and so Callie headed to the cabins.

Just when Athena cabin came into view, Callie thought of visiting Annabeth. The Athena girl was like a big sister to her, even back when she was stuck in Hermes' cabin before the war. Callie had enthusiastically listened to Annabeth's very long explanations of architecture, being quite fascinated by them. Since then, Annabeth had been a close friend, closer than any of the AOE. It was decided. She'd stop by the Athena cabin to say hello.

Callie was just nearing the cabin when she walked right into something very large and tall. After a few moments of sitting dizzily on the ground, she glanced up to see nobody else but the savior of Olympus.

"Oh, sorry, Percy. Were you going to see Annabeth too?" She asked politely, standing up brushing herself off as if nothing had happened.

Callie wouldn't know Percy if it weren't for Annabeth's constant rants about "that Seaweed Brain." But then they fell for each other right after they won the Titan War and Callie was secretly grateful she never had to listen to those rants again. An angry and irritated Annabeth was more dangerous than exploding nuclear bombs.

Mattie considered her options. She could go with him, possibly get captured and experimented on, but finally get answers. Or, she could just leave.

She knew she would find out whether he explained or not. Probably would take her years to find out. But then she thought of the little girl the other man had dragged away. Mattie set her jaw. "I don't exactly have a choice now, do I?"

In one fluid motion, Mattie swept her left hand upwards. There was a loud hiss, and electricity flowed down from the clouds and enveloped her body. Static buzzed in her ears, but she could still hear quite clearly.

"I'll come with you. Not because I want those answers badly. Because of that little girl you took. What is she, ten? She can't handle all that torture," Mattie said, her emotionless mask coming back on.

"But if this turns out to be a trap, I assure you I can easily blast you and your entire laboratory out of existence," She added darkly, sparks flying off her hair excitedly.

With a gesture, there was another loud hiss, and if Gato looked down, he'd see there was now a long scorch mark in front of his feet.

~~~
Rhine let herself get dragged to a house wearily. "Question. Do you ever run out of energy?" She asked tiredly.
The previous attack on her mental shields had seriously drained her energy, and though she was still conscious, did not mean she could take another hit, mental or physical.
Mattie watched as another person carried off the unconscious girl. She gritted her teeth, forcing herself to not make the ground explode beneath Aran's feet. "He hasn't changed one bit.
"Look Matilda, we can't go fighting in public. Do you want to be found out for what you truly are? I'm sorry about this, but I need to take you somewhere private, without you being so aggressive. To talk this out civilly? Just one chance will do, sister."
Mattie felt her anger dissipate, replaced with confusion. "Sister?"
(Once again I'm gonna suggest that you make a Sign-Up thread, master bio/form list, and add "Appearance:" to the form to spice things up/make things easier to manage.)
Thwack.
Calliope notched another arrow in her bow as her shot arrow quivered slightly in the middle of the target. With deadly accuracy, she let the second arrow fly, splitting the previous arrow in half. With a satisfied sigh, she relaxed her hold on her bow as she studied her work. Throwing daggers and shooting arrows weren't too different from each other, so Calliope took her time to study archery, as you could never know how to use too many weapons.
Callie had rather nervously asked a random child of Apollo to teach her the basics, and she had been practicing since then. Demigods who used daggers often had to be quick and accurate with their strikes, and archery pretty much required the same things. Callie looked up to the sky, realizing the sun was rising above the horizon. She had woken up quite early to train. "I've been training for that long? No wonder I'm hungry!"
Callie dropped her bow and arrows and broke into a run. She passed the Big House, and she briefly glanced up at it before heading for the dining pavilion. As she passed the cabins, she noted that people were finally waking up. A few moments later, she leaned against one of the Greek columns that were part of the pavilion, panting heavily. The hill where the pavilion rested overlooked the sea, and Callie took a moment to take in the view of the morning tides. After catching her breath, Callie went to sit at the end of the Hecate table.
The other demigods would probably be heading to the pavilion soon. Instinctively, Callie checked her sleeves for her trusty daggers. As usual, they were concealed perfectly. Magic was indeed a useful thing at times. Satisfied, Callie looked down at her magical goblet. The nymphs wouldn't be arriving with the food any time soon...but...Callie shook her head furiously at the idea that popped into her head. "Nope, nope. Bad. Don't even think of doing that.
She quickly asked for some mango juice, and the goblet obliged, filling up with the sweet drink. Calliope silently sipped her drink as she tried to forget her previous idea. "One way or another, they will find out. They think you're just a daughter of Hecate who knows martial arts. How very wrong they are," A tiny voice in the back of her mind whispered to her, but Callie blocked it out.
"Soon," the voices seemed to chant in delight. "Soon, they'll know the secrets you keep hidden."
[I think I failed to say in my form that my first posts are unusually long.]
'Lumo' vaguely remembered something about demons in England. It had involved a couple having temperature control savvys, and they had been burned to death by the frightened townsfolk. It connected this to the fact that the couple had supposedly had a daughter, and it smiled inwardly. "Perfect. We might be able to turn her to our side."
~~~

Mattie woke up with a raging headache and a clogged nose. "Ugh, this is what I get from being stupid," She croaked out, stumbling to her feet.

She managed to get a glass of water from the kitchen. The water seemed to clear her sinuses and she breathed deeply, no longer feeling the metallic buzz of energy coursing through her body. After a few moments of leaning against the kitchen counter, she remembers she needs to get some groceries and look around to see if anyone needed their lawns mowed.

Mattie moved quickly for someone who had just woken up from discharging about twenty thousand volts of power from her body. "Knives, check. Camping supplies, check. Extra clothes, check. 'Kay, time to go," Mattie announced to the empty house.

Slinging her loaded backpack onto her shoulder, Mattie leaped through the nearest window. The usual nausea from portaling passed quickly and she fell once again onto the pavement. Mattie brushed herself off before taking in her surroundings. Her jaw dropped. "Oh, hell."

She'd landed in front of a very familiar garden. A garden she used to pass everyday back when she was in school. Before her family had died and before she got her savvy.

Mattie had landed in California, once again. This time by the street she used to live.

After a few moments of trying not to break down right then, Mattie backed away slowly before speeding up to a run. She wasn't looking at where she was going. She didn't know how long she had been running before she slammed into something hard, and fell ungracefully on her bum.

Mattie looked up to see that she had somehow come back to the place she had portaled to before she had met Blix. The little girl was still there, but was now being talked to by an male adult. An adult she knew very well.

Mattie acted out of instinct: She sent a pummeling wind straight at the man who led those twisted scientists into her house. The man who had tortured her and experimented her, and had her entire family killed in cold blood. With a flick of her wrist, her knives shot out of her sleeves.

"Get the bloody **** away from that girl now," Mattie growled.

Obviously the little girl had a savvy of some sort. Why else would that twisted man be interested in her?

[Sorry if I'm moving it too fast. Just needed somebody to post/bump this so yeah.]
