Tinagen sat on the bed. She had encountered a family of five geckos in a niche in the wall, which probably explained her drawing to the room. Currently, they were all in a rather large terrarium; it took up most of the desk it was on. They seemed to be pretty happy in there.

The reptile girl decided to go hunting for some tasty insects. It'd been a while since she last snacked on a beetle, or munched a delicious centipede, or eaten a mosquito. Mosquitoes were the best. Plus she could share some with her new gecko friends.

She walked into the woods, and had a large catch that consisted of seven beetles, three centipedes, a few big blocks of honey bread and honeycomb(the bees were very confused when they saw her wings and scaly skin), at least two dozen mosquitoes, and a millipede to boot. She ate a few songbirds and one thrush that had been dim enough to fly into the net with the mosquitoes, and headed home with the rest of her catch. The hunt was over.

Tinagen bit into a burger. Mmm, bok choy and bamboo shoots, with just the right sprinkling of crunchy beetles. (She's part reptile) They really had the stuff here to pack your stomach.

Cassare munched on a sandwich. "How'd your first day go?"

"Great!" Tinagen swallowed. "We learnt about dragons in this realm of the world, and the teacher said that they were mostly aggressive. I then asked her why not just tame them? She said, 'Dragons cannot be tamed by a mere human.' I think I'm going to go and find a dragon to tame after this, you up for it, cool beans?"

"Sure, just be sure not to bring Andy along, he'll probably chop off its wing. And tell that teacher."

"He would think that we were being selfless and foolish. Nah, let's tell the Magical Creatures teacher."

Can I come? Nebula peeked out of her owner's pouch, nomming on a carrot stick.

Tinagen twitched a bit. "I still don't know how I got here... I'm Chinese, and my parents are probably praying to the god of dragons right now to give me back. And the qi of this place isn't really good, either. Lots of demonic energies."

Cassare gestured at the forest, relaxing on the double hoverchair she and the new kid were sitting on. "And this is the Forest, where I found Nebula. Lots of weird animals in there, but it's fun once you get used to it."

Tinagen squinted. "Hey... is that some pink haired girl wearing a silly dress? Wielding fireballs?"

Cassare gaped. "That's Jailia... Hold on a sec, we're going down!"

"Nah." Her fellow student flashed pink, and when the light died down Tinagen had wings and a pair of horns. "I'll go down myself."

The two descended, one in a hoverchair, one on draconic wings.
