[*begins to throw extremely heavy items at Sirua, Misalia, and Death On a more serious note, we need more ships besides Blixtooooooooonnnn D:]

When Rhine saw the boy appear from thin air, she acted instinctively. She easily broke through his mental shields in surprise, successfully knocking him out cold right after he and Robin exchanged words. Rhine blinked in surprise, and clapped a hand over her mouth. "Oh crap! So sorry!"

Elijah no longer seemed to be afraid of Blix, and reached out to pat her. "Protection. No one in my family ever gets hurt to the edge of death," He explained as he patted Blix-cat.

Rhine and her parents were startled at the sudden entrance of Robin, who seemed to have finally come out of her trance. "Another neighbor? Pleasure to meet you," Verity greeted warmly.

Rhine gave a little wave to Robin, as Elijah was busy petting Blix-cat.

[You could go back to your house in the human world (I need to add this to the portaling explanation: some portals in the neighborhood can teleport you anywhere as long as you concentrate.]

Mattie took her eyes off Gato for a moment and glanced at the white-haired older boy. "Just a casual conversation between a girl and the man who ordered to have her entire family killed, including the ones who hadn't a single clue that savvys existed," she spat angrily, sparks violently popping.

For a moment, Mattie lost control and there was a bright flash of red in the skies, as if someone had sent a signal with a flare gun. She quickly struggled to control her anger as she remembered her family who had been killed right in front of her. She exhaled slowly, and managed to look the boy in the eyes without making Gato burn to death. At the second glance, her eyes widened and she momentarily forgot her anger.

"Chris Hansen? You and your sister went MIA after your parents were killed! You work for them now?" Mattie said, her anger against Gato returning.

Back when Agatha had caught her stealing and offered her a home, Matilda had demanded proof that Agatha wasn't working for Gato's organization. The older woman obliged, and recited the deaths and missing savvy people, most families whom Mattie knew. The Hansen family were one of the very few who still had members alive. Now Mattie knew how the other families were tracked down so easily.

"You turned our own kind against each other? I thought you couldn't get any more inhuman!" Mattie shouted at Aran, her hands curling into fists.

She wanted to kill him so badly then. She knew for a fact she could do it easily, but she remembered the little girl they had taken. Who knew how many others they had taken and were still alive? She managed to calm down slowly, relaxing her body and taking deep breaths.

"The only reason you're not dead yet," Mattie growled at Gato, "is because I can't stand to think of that little girl getting experimented on like what you did to me."

Callie tilted her head in confusion at Annabeth's distracted behavior. Her usual reaction to things that involved Jackson varied from a murderous rage to extreme blushing. But never did she put something first before him. She glanced down at the book, which she could read perfectly. Unlike most demigods, Callie only had ADHD. She read the first paragraph, subconsciously reading it out loud.

"'Apophis was a colossal black snake that embodied Chaos itself. It was known and feared by the Egyptians as the "Enemy of Ra" and the "Lord of Chaos." Legend has it that when Apophis succeeds in swallowing the sun (Ra), the world will be consumed by darkness and die. To ward off Apophis (Apep), the Egyptians performed certain rituals that involved wax statues and ancient spells."

Callie's eyes widened, and she clapped a hand over her mouth. The world was spinning rapidly around her, and black dots danced across her vision. "Oh gods," was the last thing she thought before she blacked out.

Callie felt like she was floating. Where was she? She forced her eyes open, taking in her surroundings. She was in a dimly lit room that seemed to flicker in and out of existence. Two women materialized in front of her, and Callie jumped. Neither seemed to notice the demigod standing there. One of the women was veiled, and was holding a baby bundled into a blanket in her arms. With a pang of realization, Callie realized that the other woman was her mother - Hecate.

"You helped my mother before, Hecate. Please, help me now," The veiled woman pleaded.

Hecate twirled her blazing torches once before replying. "He will find out one day. What you are asking of me...will cost you."

The veiled woman shook violently, as if she were silently sobbing. "Anything. Please. Save my child."

Hecate had a curious expression on her face, not seeming to care that the other woman was practically begging. "Why me? Why not the other? The child descends from her."

"My husband would dare not strike you. You have the protection of Zeus," The veiled woman explained quietly.

"And so does she, but I see your point," Hecate nodded.

"Thank you," The veiled woman murmured as she handed over the sleeping child.

Hecate glanced up at the woman who stepped back immediately after handing the child over. "You went to the Fates, did you not? To see this child's future?"

The veiled woman nodded. "My husband will never learn of the child. But he will learn of its descendants. The Fates have decreed that-" She stopped mid-sentence.

"Decreed what?" Hecate asked firmly, who had vanished away her torches and was now cradling the child.

"One of the reasons I put it under your care is because..." The veiled woman paused as if frightened. "The Fates decreed that my husband would go after one of its descendants...who will be your daughter."

It took Hecate a moment to process this. She took it rather calmly, gazing at the veiled woman with a strange expression. "The blood of three gods. Zeus himself would destroy her."

"He would not dare destroy a child of yours," The veiled woman argued.

"More bizarre things have happened," Hecate quietly replied.

"Then I will try to minimize the strength I give her. Power over my domain would be enough. She'd keep it hidden," The veiled woman said.

Hecate stood silently as she swayed, rocking the child. She spoke one last time before vanishing with the child. "Your love for another man might have just destroyed the balance of the world."

[No, Callie's not the blood of the pharaohs. She just has too much god blood (though it doesn't do much as two gods' powers are barely detectable and her only prominent powers are from Hecate), so Apophis easily sniffs (SNAKES CAN'T SMELL GET THE PUN) her out as a powerful demigod, thus constantly invading her dreams. Dun dun dun, hope I didn't make it too obvious/OP her too much. Like c'mon. Jealous husband, Hecate helped the veiled woman's mother, protection of Zeus on the unnamed goddess. *flails*]

Both adults had finally snapped out of shock, and Verity rolled her eyes at Rhine's comment. "It's not our fault you keep getting into all sorts of trouble."

"The last time I got into trouble was when I made Jimmy Turner from next door cry when I was six," Rhine pointed out.

Verity fell silent as Rhine stifled a laugh. "Anyway, Dad's got a savvy, but Mum is eternally useless."

Rhine's mother glared at her, putting her hands on her hips. It seemed that the panther incident had been forgotten.

Elijah and Verity scrambled to their feet, looking bewildered at the sudden transformation of the panther into a purple-haired girl. Verity stood behind Elijah, peeking at the girl with a mixture of fear and confusion. Luckily, Rhine stepped in quickly, yanking Blix to her feet. "Mum, Dad, this is Blix. Her savvy is shapeshifting," Rhine quickly introduced before Blix did anything that caused her parents to freak. "Blix, these are my overprotective parents that call the police after I'm late for half an hour," She added, rolling her eyes.

Verity and Elijah were stunned for a few moments before they started screaming bloody murder. Rhine leaped up from the couch in a hurry. "Blix, get off them, you're scaring them. Mum, Dad, stop screaming," She called out to her parents and the panther as she sweatdropped (LIKE IN ANIME).

Derek blushed furiously at the comment while Reyna stared on blankly. "We're not a couple," They denied at the same time. They looked at each other, and Derek reddened even more. The pegasi who were tiredly following them let out similar snorts that seemed to say "Ha, you sure act like it."

Reyna wasn't too bothered by the comment. She reacted very little to most things and people. Derek being the number one exception of course. She held back a blush as she thought this. "Okay, where in the name of Hades did that come from? Bad Reyna."

The sun insisted on glaring murderously into her eyes, which didn't bother her that much. She had fewer limits than most Dark Fantasies, she was about to find out. Of course, it probably was because of her little secret that only Derek knew about. She'd been forced to tell him after...that accident.

Derek was unusually quiet after Triss' comment. Okay, so maybe he did have feelings for Reyna. "You can't exactly spend the past three years with someone and not feel something," He tried to assure himself.

Rhine restrained herself from asking any more questions. Blix had clearly stated that she didn't want to talk about. Besides, even if she did persist in asking, Blix probably wouldn't reply. To Rhine's surprise, the door swung open and her parents walked in.

"Sweetie, you almost gave me a heart attack when we didn't find you at home. It's nice to meet the new neighbo-" Verity froze in mid sentence one she spotted the panther which was Blix.

Rhine cocked her head to the side in confusion. "Ran? From what?"

She knew she she was being nosy, but she couldn't help it. She was naturally curious as a human being, savvy or not. Besides, Blix didn't seem the type to have a horrible family or something. At least, her cheerful personality did a great job hiding it.

Reyna caught Derek's eye. They'd been traveling together for so long that they could read each other so easily, even without expressions. With a nod from Reyna, Derek answered for both of them. "We'll stay as long no one tries to kill us."

Reyna stifled a laugh at his rather dry tone, and for a moment her eyes glinted with an unidentifiable emotion before vanishing. She glanced up at the sky, where the sun glared at them fiercely. "That explains why I'm weaker."

Reyna checked her bag to see if they had left anything behind in California, and happily noted that Derek had managed to teleport everything into their bags. She looked up at Triss. "You were saying something about a household for us Darkness types?"

Derek raised his free hand somewhat lazily. "Please tell me I have a place to dump my stuff in. Like, Rey-rey's Shadow Storage of Doom holds a lot of our belongings, but sometimes you just want to drop your bag on a floor without having to wait for it to be tossed into a different dimension of shadows," He stated, not realizing he had used his nickname for Reyna until he had finished speaking.

His eyes widened as Reyna stalked over to him and jabbed him in the chest with her finger. "You are so dead."

His surprise quickly disappeared and he gave her a cheeky grin. "I love you too."

Reyna flushed a bright red and punched him lightly on the shoulder, turning away while muttering insults about annoying boys. Derek, on the other hand, kept a stupid grin on his face.

"Tons," Reyna echoed, testing out the word.

It felt like a dream. There were people like them. People with powers getting hunted down by normal people. Both Reyna and Derek felt relief wash over them. They weren't alone.

Derek barely even minded the dagger that Triss just removed from her sleeve. He was too focused on wondering where they were exactly. Reyna had released her hold on the shadows, and the temperature had gone back up. "Linked with death? What do you mean?"

Reyna had let the hand holding her bow drop to her side, loosening her grip. Her expression was something in between curiosity and wariness. Noticing this, Derek sheathed his sword while still keeping his eye on the brunette.

Reyna and Derek were on their guard immediately when the brunette appeared. Both were somewhat surprised that she didn't flinch from their guarded glares. Most people they had met could barely stand Reyna's "back-off-or-else" look in her eye, much less not squirm under Derek's rather scary gaze.

The duo listened intently to the girl, Triss, and were momentarily stunned at the idea of other people like them. Reyna's eyes had widened a fraction before she spoke. "Household? There are...others? And...Fantasies? What are those?"

Derek, however, was mostly focused on the prisoner idea. He snorted in laughter, noticing how Triss clawed at her left robe sleeve. "The last person who tried to trap us ended up dead."

This was, only a half-truth. The hunter had foolishly tried to step in front of Theseus, and ended up getting sliced to pieces by his horn. Derek and Reyna shared the same opinion on killing normal people: Due to their lack of intelligence, they can be somewhat excused for trying to hunt them down.

Cliantha whinnied in irritation, trotting over to Derek. It took the Fantasy several moments before realizing she wanted the mud scraped off her wings. Derek quickly gathered some light in his hand, turned it into a makeshift handkerchief, and began to scrape the brown muck off Cliantha's snow-white wings. Then Theseus trotted over to him as well, flapping his large wings rapidly, sending patches of mud everywhere. Derek immediately dropped to the ground to avoid the flying pieces of mud. Reyna had rather excellent hearing, and ducked just in time.

"Seriously, dude?" Derek said to the black pegasus in disbelief.

In turn, the pegasus let out another whinny before dropping to the ground, exhausted from running. Cliantha had somehow managed to avoid the mud bath and followed her brother's action of lying down.

Reyna made a face - which was incredibly rare - at the snoring pegasi before turning back to Triss. She had somehow managed to keep hold of her bow when they were portaled to this weird place, and was now gripping it tightly. Derek noticed his sword lying nearby and picked it up. He wasn't going to trust the brunette that easily.

"Dark household? You mean dark like this?" Reyna tilted her head, making her shadow distort and surround her. Derek felt the temperature drop by a few degrees and shuddered. Reyna's powers were cool at times...but that couldn't help the fact that they were seriously scary and creepy.
