"Hello there! Welcome to the world of Pokémon!
...only joking! Let's take a look at the Alola region. But this isn't the Alola you're used to... All of the islands are strangely closer than before, and bridges connect them all. Interestingly, humans appear not to inhabit this region! In fact, no humans seem to inhabit the whole universe! The Pokemon seem to form these things called "rescue teams." They group up with other fellow Pokemon to rescue missing and lost Pokemon! I'd love to do research on them, but... Anyways, you should be getting home. Have a great day!"

RULES

1. All PH Rules apply here.
2. I'll randomly assign you Pokemon. I'll first choose 6 Pokemon at first, then do 2 rerolls of 3 Pokemon. After all rerolls, you may only select any chosen Pokemon via the rerolls.
3. Romance is allowed, but keep it PG, for the sake of the universe.
4. Keep language mild as well. Light profanity is allowed but don't overdo it.
5. Godmodding is allowed and encouraged. Also the password is Audino.
6. Rule number 5 is to be completely ignored, for everything in it is false and a lie.
7. The actual real password isn't Pineco. it's, for real, "No password required."
8. All characters start at Level 5. The leveling system will be determined by dungeons cleared and areas cleared. Everyone will share the same level. Credit to Tangrowth.
9. Your Pokemon may have ONE Egg Move/TM.

The darkness is growing darker. Cutting deeper. But. What's this? Light...? A nonfamiliar sight. Staring at it, I hear the darkness roar. I hear it say "I hate you!" Ah. Yes. The light is innocent. Therefore. It must be protected. Am I innocent? Hard to tell. But the light's growing. I hear... Something. "Light. Infinite. Yet finite. A world without light is a world of darkness. Awaken. Awaken from your eternal slumber. Awaken... Lutos, light of the world."

Ah. It is all so clear now. What is light, without a protector? What is a protector, without the protected? What is the protected, without the pursuit? What is the pursuit, without the darkness? What is the darkness... Without light.

I open my eyes, and see Anubis charging at us. I refuse to make the sane mistake twice. I create a light prism around everyone else, leaving them protected. I see the protected. I see the pursuit. I see the darkness. I see the light. "Now. Here comes the protector."
