"I don't know what to get," Fortem announced. "It all sounds pretty good! What are you getting?" Fortem looked to Emerald for advice.

"Hmm..." Audax wondered a lot of things. Were all forms of magic generally used for attack, defense, or healing? Those were all the ways he'd seen them used. Were they all physical things? Thinking like this made Audax happy, since it meant he had something to do; some purpose for at least a little bit. It was a good decision to join the school of magic. He began trotting home, his bag scraping the ground as he padded along.

Audax sat down, a little tired from casting the spell. So far he'd only been able to do one per day... tommorow, maybe he'd ask Thea if she thought he was ready to try two noxs or something like that? He didn't want to over exert himself or mess up the dark magic.

A smile bloomed on Fortem's muzzle as he heard Emerald's carefree song. He found himself walking in tune with both the distant music playing somewhere in the hotel, and with Emerald's tune, which seemed to line up, beat-wise at least. His tail flicked happily from side to side, as he realised he'd transformed into his dusk form.

Audax's eyes widened, before settling into a confident stare. He let a small grin pass across his face. The purple energy looked awfully like a dark type attack. Maybe they were somewhat connected? He didn't know. He was happy to have accomplished casting the spell, though. Quickly, he checked his timer to see how long he took.

	"It is!" Fortem agreed happily, his tail thumping rhythmically against the side of the balloon bed. His stomach growled, like, well, a lycanroc, making him laugh. "Lets see what there is to eat," He suggested. The icecream hadn't spoiled his appetite at all! Audax watched, a little confused, as the orb sank into the ground, vanishing from view. Fortem grinned as he bounced up and down, and wobbled left and right. He stretched, kneading his paws as if the balloon was just a large ball of soft dough - which in truth, it was similar to.

Audax did his best to stay calm and collected while casting the spell, but he couldn't help shaking a little from excitement. He took deep breaths, and watched the spell come together as he cast it, his book under his paw.

	Fortem tried to squish and stretch the bubble balloon bed. It did, impressively not breaking under the pressure of his rock spikes. Audax didn't know how much time had passed, but he would check later. He decided to attempt to cast the spell now. [Read more]

	Fortem blushed, a grin passing over his face, followed by another relaxed yawn. He noticed the light begin to have a warm tint from the side of the room, and looked to the window, noticing a sunset. Audax was able to finally ease his muscles as he meditated, unaware of how much time was passing. He'd gotten a lot better at this over the past while. [Read more]

"Got it!" Fortem let out a huge, relaxed, yawn, his tongue flickering out like an arbok's. "Aah... thanks, this is nice," He murmured, eyes closed.

After making sure everything was safe, Audax found a shady spot at the roots of a berry tree with branches that seemed to reach out to hold part of the blue sky. At the horizon, the sky had hints of oranges and yellows as the sun began to dip beneath the far off clouds. Twilight was Audax's favourite time, there was just something that felt so magical and peaceful about it. He began to meditate.

Fortem laughed, deciding to eat his own icecream a little bit slower from now on. He sighed. "Ahh... I'm exhausted from that obstacle course... I'm gonna be so sore tommorow... Hopefully not too sore and tired for the party dance thingy."

Once he was sure the two groups had left, as to not attract attention, he bounded up stealthily to look at the strange marks, and at the battle grounnd. Maybe he could make out they types of pokemon they were from how the area looked after the battle? He had to try.

Fortem licked his lips before clumsily picking up the spoon to try some of the icecream. It was a little small for him to hold, so he resorted to just licking (and biting, it didn't really hurt his teeth) the icecream like the sundae cup was a cone instead. The flavours were very fruity. Fortem thought he tasted something that tasted a little like mago berry, and wondered what it was. "It's really good! What berried might they have used for this?" Fortem asked, facinated.

"What...?" Audax asked quietly to no one. He padded up a bit closer to get a look at the two groups. He had a curious nature, and needed answers.

Fortem nodded, but he decided to give a tip to the hotel when they checked out at the front desk. "Look at these!" Fortem exclaimed, muzzle pointed towards the two sundaes. They had a few different unknown berry flavours of icecream, topped with some whipped cream and various fruit bits.

Audax stared at the fight. What was going on? He tried to make out the pokemon, and what they might be wearing, to determine who they might be, before he did anything.

"It is," Fortem agreed happily. "It's such a stretchy material! But cozy as well. Hmm...." He paused. "I think I have a new idea for Remus. What if he made a balloon, but covered the outside in some sort of fur or fluff?" He looked to Emerald, hoping for a good answer. "If he hasn't tried that already, of course." Fortem added.

To put it simply, Audax was extremely confused. He tried listening out for anything weird, and sniffing around too, but he couldn't shake off the ominous feeling. He went for a brisk walk around.

Fortem blushed, before changing the topic to something he noticed about Emerald. "Y'know, you already look a little bit like a lucario!" He paused. "Well you're a riolu of course, but even more than that. See," He gestured to Emerald's paws. "They're black, like a Yung's! And the your black mask, which also makes you look a little like a super hero, has a line carrying up just a little bit." He nodded towards Emerald's head.

"I... guess," Fortem noticed, looking down to examine his paws, then turning his head to look at his blue 'cape'. He laughed at the observations, a smile blooming on his face.

Of course, even when Audax was just wandering, his paws would naturally guide him to the one place he hung out the most. He smiled, his ears tilting amusedly at the thought. He padded into the park. Some magic practice couldn't hurt (probably). He scanned the park, just looking around for a place.

"Hmm?" Fortem asked, oblivious. "What do you mean?" He got up to a sitting position and tilted his head.

Audax couldn't decide what to do next. These sort of decisions were hard for him. After walking down the paved, cobble streets of Luminia for half an hour, he finally decided to just keep on walking to see what things me might see to do. There were still a few days before he should go back to the school of magic.
