Cassare yawned and looked around. Her brother's bed had been empty as the day before since a dragon flew in throuh a rift and told him to do... something. Alas, she hadn't seen Emberis since that, and she wasn't expecting to see him anyway.

She decided to go and get some breakfast.

Tinagen was currently munching on a delicious stone. She thought it was quartz, but when she found out it was pyrite, the dragon girl was surprised. She decided to find more of this tasty mineral and flew off over the mountains and far away.

	Said cone of balefire split into several spinning drills. These drills contacted different places: one touched the vines, another blew up the shadows, a third crashed and enveloped Andy and the mask, then the last three merged back into one drill and blasted Twinerva off her feet. [Read more]

	The dragon-girl took the silent answer as a "alright, give me balefire", and proceeded to blast a cone of spinning fire, with bright blue flames and a pure white core. Cassare drew some more arrows, and fired these Hope-fire hybrids right into the mask's eye sockets. [Read more]

Jailia, take your friends and get out of the castle! Don't just stay there dilly-dallying, go now!

Of course, this was a telepathical channel directed at Jailia, so no one else heard it.

Her owner was meanwhile busy firing Hope-energy imbued arrows at the mask, hoping that the hope of the students would overide the Doom energies around the mask, and melt it. She started drawing, nocking, and firing simultaneous shots of fire and Hope.

Cassare looked at the scene, invisible, hidden in a statue, whip in hand, crossbow in another. To be honest, she was quaking in her cape... She decided to start pouring arrows into herself.

Meanwhile, all over the castle, arrows started pouring out of rifts in the air, striking the vines, ultimately chopping each and every one as the blades of the arrowheads wore the thick, leathery skin, and embedded themselves in Lunara's... whatever her dark side had.
