Phelpy took the blows, now critically damaged. "Alright! Show time! Use a lot of Bubble Beams to hide yourself, then... Go for it!" Kyushu cried out, not revealing the attack. Phelpy left a massive amount of bubbles on the field, covering the entire battlefield, then grabbing the Skiddo to throw it down quickly and used an Icy Wind. Phelpy then ran back to its spot in battle, grinning. The bubbles then disappeared.

"Alright. Phelpy, start off by running around Skiddo while using Double Slap, then get out of countering range before you get hit!" Kyushu called out to his partner, who quickly nodded before charging at the Skiddo and gracefully spinning around it, occasionally landing a good slap until 4 slaps had been landed on the opponent's Pokemon. The Brionne then gave a small bow when not in range for Skiddo to quickly strike back.

	"Congrats." Kyushu glanced over at Rika and Gabite and smiled, before moving on to another Ground-Type to take down. Phelpy was due to evolve soon, evolved Pokemon usually gave a lot of experience, and Brionne evolves at Level 34. Right now, Phelpy was Level 32, and needed to be a whole lot tougher in order to stand a chance against Clemont's Electric Type Pokemon. [Read more]

Kyushu yelped in surprise when Lava snuck up on him, which his partner Phelpy responded to by snickering, knocking out another Dugtrio. Still startled by Lava, he looked up towards Rika. "Alright! Let's get some power on our partners!" Phelpy went up to Kyushu and slapped him, before returning to the ground, looking for another Dugtrio. Kyushu was speechless, not that he would have said anything to object to that anyways.

Kyushu got up early. Well, in truth, to get up early one had to sleep. He couldn't help it though, he and his group were going to take on Clemont in Lumiose City, and he needed extra training, and fast. He decided to consult to PokeDex for Ground-Type Pokemon, as one with Sand Attack would be crucial for victory. After searching for a bit, he gave up and went to the nearest Route to train. He decided to not worry his comrades and left a note, reading:

"I'm in the next Route over training.
-Kyushu"

Age: 11 (is this okay because in the Alola region trainers start their journeys at the age 11)

Description: Wears a purple striped shirt, purple pants, and purple sneakers. Refuses to wear any kind of hat until he finds the perfect one.

Personality: Extremely tactical in battles, not so much in real life conversations. Tries to make friends, but fails at initiating small talk.

Original Region: Alola

Backstory: Kyushu had been studying the art of Pokemon as soon as he was seven, and created battle strategies some tough trainers would have a hard time countering. When he turned 11, he decided he didn't want to start his adventure in Alola, to his mother's dismay. She allowed it, with the only requirement that he had to pick his starter in Alola. He decided on Popplio, based on its competitive value and how gosh-darn cute it is. He then moved to the Kalos region one week after.

Natsy awoke on a field, surrounded by other Pokemon. She got up, wondering why all of the Pokemon around her were bigger than usual and why she was on some grassy field, despite definitely being in her bed. She then made the poor decision of looking at her arms... or lack of arms. They were instead replaced by small wings, with interesting patterns, Natsy, however, had no time for patterns, as she began screaming, for she was not a human, she had become a Natu somehow.
