(or maybe cap the price of egg storages past a certain point? Most people certainly don't need 50 egg storages unless they're doing a Lati@s hunt) assuming you click a decent amount (15k a day), play the beach daily, rumble and shiny hunt and you get 150k PD a day on average, it'll still take about 2 years of doing this daily to get 50 egg storages, and that doesn't include the cost of summons and Premium, or that you will need more egg storages than that. With that said, even though Enigma Stones (true as of a few years ago, but now stonks says theyre 120k PD) are cheap, you're essentially only summoning the right legendary half the time, so they're actually the most expensive tall grass summon. correct my math if I'm wrong but that's kind of ridiculous, especially when you can do all this preparation and still fail to RNG. even the berrygarden trio (which cost about 1.25 mil PD to summon each) are guaranteed, even if they also have a very high cost to hunt. Edit 2: For more mons with a high cost to hunt, we can look at Xerneas, Yveltal and the lab legends. Their hunts are still challenging and rewarding because despite their high cost, they still feel doable. Only the Eon duo hunts have the potential to basically be undoable in that regard. Theres few other things on PH which you can't control chances with PD, besides shiny Ho-Oh (you could buy codes though) or shiny Celebi Edit: I did the math wrong. 15k clicks gives 75k PD daily (assuming amulet coin and only berry clicks), and maybe 10k from rumbles. besides me thinking that Berrygarden needs a huge overhaul everywhere (being tedious and unrewarding for the first 30 levels, then tedious and slightly rewarding after that, or having terrible UI when you have 10000 berries and 100000 levels of each berry to scroll through, or having to cook drinks manually or--) its after reading this thread that I avoid levelling my berries too much, and reject as many tasks as possible (to avoid levelling too quickly), to reduce the odds of being given unreasonable tasks. but really, any system that encourages not progressing isn't made well earlier suggestions of having multiple items as rewards would be greatly appreciated (e.g. multiple gems, possibility for mega stones, mystery boxes/keys as rewards, a few super honeys... there's a lot of options) also more item rewards should be introduced before garden level 30 to make the bulletin board have better scaling, as most item rewards only appear regularly after garden level 30 [Read more] |

They're special pokemon with their gen 1-3 sprites, and cannot evolve or be bred, but have a 1 in 50 chance of being Shiny. Obviously, go for areas that have popular gems so your gems are worth more - berries are so cheap thanks to the garden. currently trying to establish a decent supply of PD from oran berry harvests. it's low skill but tedious - selling shinies is worth it if you can figure out whats in demand, but I don't personally like it without premium because of long wait times plus cost of pokeradar battery + daycare adds up quite fast. tall grass also has a pretty high cost depending on what you're going for ((assuming 4 eggs a day-- okay. math is hard to consider breeding rates and whatever)) -treasure hunt is pretty much guaranteed free stuff once you have ~25k GC, the amount of game chips you get in the long run is a small profit [Read more] |

I understand that people can just choose the storage box clicklist but I feel bad not helping with eggs when I can. Unrelated: since egg hatching drives most of the gameplay here, mayhe they should get a small boost in rewards so people aren't biased towards feeding Pokémon. Maybe (in order of increasing rewards), regular pokemon interact < egg interact < berry feeding? [Read more] |
