Colors are very vibrant and the lines are messy, but there is always room for improvement. You're doing an amazing job at the moment and if you keep practicing maybe your art would look nicer? I suggest using layers for coloring ect. So that it doesn't look clunky, if you are already using layers, maybe place the color layer below the linework so it doesn't mess the line quality up.

But anyways, itz a nice character and the background is definitely better than what I can do :,)

Erika sighed as she watched the Yamper they talked too walk over to the senior table. Inside, she felt kinda bad and sorry, but the other half of her is kinda glad she avoided a conversation. Ashley watched as well and sighed "I wish I could've talked to them some more, they seemed really nice, its just we're besties, and whatever you want to do, I'll do as well."
"You could've stayed and talked some more then. You didn't have to follow me, but you chose too." Erika said coldly. Ashley looked at Erika and then sat down, her head on the table.
"Yeah you're right, I don't have to follow you everywhere..." Ashley drooped her ears Erika rolled her eyes and smiled awkwardly
"N-no don't be sad, I- ugh... I guess I like your company?" Erika said trying to cheer her up. Ashley perked her ears up and wagged her tail frantically like a happy doggo.

Ashley let go of Erika's hand and greeted the Yamper "Hello! Also kinda I guess. What about you Erika?" She turned to Erika. Erika looked up at the Yamper
"Sort of." She said with a sigh and fell silent again. Ashley turned back around to the Yamper and smiled.
"Umm... don't mind her." Ashley said smiling awkwardly. "She's normally like this with strangers." Erika pushed Ashley out the way and began to scan the cafeteria for a place to sit. Ashley looked over "Wait! Ugh... Sorry! I guess we'll catch up later!" Ashley ran over to Erika, who was now sitting at a table.
"That was not cool, you don't leave me like that!" Ashley said crossing her arms. Erika rolled her eyes
"You two were being VERY awkward" Erika said harshly.
"Typical Erika" Ashley rolled her eyes and sat down next to her.

"Well, that's the bell. Looks like everyone is going to the cafeteria. Let's go." Ashley said, quickly standing up and dragging Erika to the cafeteria.
"Okay, you don't have to drag me though..." Erika muttered as they ran. As soon as Ashley and Erika got to the cafeteria, a bit of nervous excitement flowed through them. It's up to chance that they are both sorted into the same house, even sorted into the same dorm room. They'd just have to hope.

Erika looked across the hallway as people were still walking and talking. She then grabbed Ashley's hand and bought her to the cozy area and sat her down. "I told you to rest and you decided to stand up more. You literally just finished practicing soccer too." Erika said worried, but in a tone that sounded harsh to some people. Ashley pouted as she crossed her legs as she sat.
"You worry too much sometimes." Ashley said "I think you need to relax and calm down too." She said with a smile. Erika rolled her eyes and sat down next to her.

Erika was watching everyone bustling around the school hallways and sighed. She turned to her left and saw Ashley done with practicing Soccer. Her hair still tied up in a ponytail. "I'm- back from practicing... Soccer!" She said out of breath. Erika smiled a little and patted her back "Well, just relax." Ashley leant against the wall next to Erika and sighed
"In a bit, the bell will ring and some entrance ceremony stuff will happen. I hope we manage to land in the same house, or something." Ashley pouted.

	Erika stopped looking around and decided to hang around the main hallway, eyeing people and leaning against the wall waiting for the bell to ring. Meanwhile, Ashley was kicking a ball around and practicing shooting techniques and ball tricks. It seemed as if no one else was in the Gym hall at the moment so she could make mistakes as much as she wanted without feeling bad about it. [Read more]

Erika got up after the librarian checked on them. "Well, I'm going to explore more of the school, find more hiding areas for us to just chill while we skip lessons this week. You want to come?" Ashley thought for a bit before shaking her head and getting up. "I'm going to go do morning practice at the gym hall. Obviously using the school's equipment because I don't have my own ball." She'd giggle. "Let's hope we are in the same classes this year!" Ashley said as she breezed past Erika. Erika would smile before picking up the books and putting them back. She'd walk out the library and looked down the hallway. She'd look around corners of stairs and classrooms that might be empty.

(I know a few paragraphs ago I said that Ashley was looking to join the soccer team, but I spoke to the owner about it and she's now captain. So let's just pretend that never happened okay? xD)
Ashley sighed as she saw no event that interested her. Erika looked up from her phone to see Ashley looking out the window. "Hey Ash, couldn't find any events you're interested in?" Ashley sighed and turned her focus to Erika.
"Yeah... I guess it's back to training this week until some interesting event happens to show up." Ashley sighed as she looked back to her phone.
"Ahh... I see..." Erika said with a heavy sigh. "Anyway, you wanna go to the shopping mall after school today if we get the chance? I have a heavy feeling that today is going to be rough for both of us." Ashley smiled back
"Sure, I'll be happy too! I was looking for some new sports equipment. My soccer ball became flat after a game with some of my neighbors." They both saw the librarian come over and went back to looking through the book as if they were studying.

Erika and Ashley opened the door to the library and became silent as they walked past the receptionist and walked over to the back corner table. Ashley sat down as Erika grabbed some random books. One of them was a science study book and the other was some Shakespeare poetry. Erika didn't care, she just wanted them to look like they are studying when they're actually on their phones and chatting. The usual Erika and Ashley. Erika was flipping through her social medias while Ashley was looking at different sports events nearby.

Ashley and Erika continued chatting until they walked along the hallway. "I can't wait to see new people, and make new friends! I wonder if this school has a soccer team! Or have some sort of sport activities here!" Ashley said excitedly, she seemed to have no sign of nervousness inside of her after chatting with her best friend. Erika laughed a bit
"I think that if there is a soccer team, that you should definitely try out! You're awesome at that stuff!" Ashley stroked her own hair in embarrassment
"Don't say that! I'm not that good yet!" Ashley mumbled. Erika nudged her and they both laughed as Ashley nudged Erika back. "Did you remember to bring in those origami paper? You said after school break you'd teach me." Erika checked her bag and pockets.
"Damn I left it at home..." Erika said with a sigh. "I'll bring it to school tomorrow instead. Just a little heads up, it's a tad bit hard. You sure?" Ashley nodded frantically
"Yeah! I wanna know how you make those cranes! Oh! Also those penguins that you used to make in middle school!" Erika looked at her with a sigh
"You do know that you have to get a hang of the simple folds first... I was also thinking about teaching you how to make planes first, I still don't know why you can't make them." Erika said as she rezippped her bag and put it over one of her shoulders. Ashley crossed her hands as she walked with Erika again.

	Rex, Erin and Lloyd would go outside and see everyone surrounded by shadowlings. "Holy! What happened here!" Rex said as he rushed into battle. He attacked a shadowling, knocking one too the ground with his weight, he then breathed fire into it's face. Erin used his gun to shoot at an enemy. Lloyd charged at one with his dagger and attacked one quickly. [Read more]

Erika walked over to the school entrance and stared at it for a while. She smiled as she thought about how this new school year would be. Her parents have been begging her many times to stay out of trouble this year, but what's a new year without a little fun? She turned around and saw Ashley, her best friend run up to her. "Hey Ash! You doing good? Are you a little nervous?" Ashley put her hands in the pockets of her jacket.
"A little, but I have my bestie here to help me! This year is gonna be great! I can feel it!" Ashley said as she wagged her poofy tail. They both continued to laugh as they talked about what they have been doing throughout the school break. Mall shopping, birthday parties, new hobbies ect.
