It was a few minutes before Monika realized she was still hungry, so she made herself a quick salad and took it to the dining hall.

Tsumugi had left her room and received her handbook. It said Monika was in the dining hall, and she had promised to talk. However, there were only a few subjects left, and none of them were good.

Still, a promise was a promise. She took a seat across from Monika upon entering the room.

"So... Why do you know Liana? I'm her computer girlfriend, and apparently I'm only here because of luck." Monika said after swallowing a bite of lettuce.

"I was in her state on vacation. I went to her co-op once or twice, and I helped make her tie-dye."

"So you were friends?"

"Yeah. Back when I was still into cosplay, I made her one as a present before I left."

"Back when...?"

"That was when the killing game started. She was used as the 'exchange student' motive, since she wasn't from Japan. They accused her of being the mastermind, since she remembered me."

"And the reason why she was so upset when she first saw you?"

"I was the mastermind. At least, I was brainwashed into thinking I was. I wish I could be forgiven as easily as she did you."

"I was only forgiven because-"

"I know. They weren't real. I didn't play, but I watched. I've seen it."

"Fine."

They spent a few more moments in silence, then Tsumugi left.

"You got abducted, likely." Liana shrugged. "That's what happened to me last time. Except that time I was used as a motive. Feels good to be my own person!~"

Monika put away her handbook. "Meanwhile, I was in a computer game. How did I get here?"

"My luck, possibly."

"...What?"

"Easy! Good luck brought you here. All I'm wondering now is...why didn't it wait? Why didn't it wait until I was out? Am I gonna die? Are you gonna die?"

Not waiting for an answer, Liana left. Monika was only shocked.

"Since we're getting ignored like wildfire, I was hoping you could assist." Liana smiled. "Could you make a list of everyone's names and talents, so our handbooks get updated faster?"

Monika stared, wide-eyed. "Handbooks?"

"Yeah, they have the rules on them. They get updated when you meet someone new and the introduce themselves. Clearly we weren't given that luxury, but I don't mind!~"

"This is no place to be joking around." Monika scolded. "And you aren't leaving so quickly! I've given you my name and talent, so it's only fair that you two do the same."

It was about this time that Liana shambled in, a few dried tears stuck to her cheeks. "Sorry about everything! I kinda don't want to be here, and I'm sure all of you can relate."

Monika walked over to her. "I was attempting to acquaint myself, but in all honesty I'm getting nowhere."

"That's fine, I guess, but at this point I'll have to go to Monokuma and ask him who everyone is." Liana giggled. "You know he'll answer questions if you flutter your eyelashes."

Once Liana was safely locked in her room, Monika waited by Tsumugi's room. She figured the girl would either come out or go in.

A few minutes time proved her correct. Tsumugi nearly dropped her sandwich. "I...assume you wanna talk?"

"Absolutely. Many things. How things work here, what happened last time you were with Liana..." In an attempt to not be creepy, Monika smiled. "And maybe we can share things about ourselves."

"...Fine. Come back later, though. I don't like people watching me eat."

"Fair enough. I'll go see what I can find by myself."

Once Monika had walked away, Tsumugi closed the door behind her.

Tsumugi only woke up due to the hunger that was making her stomach hurt. She reluctantly went to the kitchen to make herself some food.

Liana stirred, and Monika took the opportunity to help her stand up. She had been given plenty of time to think the situation over, and she knew Liana wasn't the best person to ask. Not information-wise, she was experienced with that, but Liana was currently in some kind of denial.

Meaning she would have to talk to Tsumugi. How...perfect. After all, she had more than a few questions for the seamstress.

But first, she'd have to escort Liana to her dorm room. Not that she minded. Liana was more aware and knew where to go.

Being left alone meant Monika could think of a few things.

For starters, why were Liana and Mixie here? And who was the blue-haired girl making Liana upset? Tsumugi, she said? She didn't seem to mean any harm. In fact, she has seemed almost eager to explain things to them.

She and Liana...had been here before? Ultimate Seamstress? What was an Ultimate? Something she'd pick for herself?

Speaking of picking for herself, Monika didn't exactly have a last name.

Hmmm... How about Monika Hisui? Jade. Green. It almost matches. Monika decided with a light giggle. I wonder... Ultimate Club President? Should I call myself that? I might as well. Poetry and piano are merely hobbies. I'm far from talented. Though... I've been club president in many clubs, not just my own... Yeah, that'll work.

Liana sank to the floor, her laughter finally ceasing. Monika crouched, resting her lover's head in her lap and stroking the long hair.

Tsumugi left the room. As much as she wanted to help her friend, the girl she was with seemed to be taking care of her. Besides, she was already exhausted mentally and wanted to rest in the dorms. Before doing so, she introduced herself to those who would hear.

"I'm Tsumugi Shirogane. Ultimate...Seamstress."

That being said, she nearly sprinted out of the gym.
