The Narrator blinked open his eyes, only to be met with blinding sunlight. Wait a moment. Sunlight? No, no, that wasn’t right. That couldn’t be right. His story took place in an office building, did it not? He jumped to his feet, taking in his surroundings. He seemed to be in a field that went on for miles in any direction, the only landmark he could see was a cottage on the horizon. He also quickly realized that he was alone.

No, nononono this was not good. Where was Stanley? He was with The Narrator as far as the latter man knew, where had he gone?

“Stanley? Stanley, can you hear me? Where are you?”

[Right here.]

The thought came from behind Narrator. He whirled around to see the very man he was looking for, a soft smile plastered on his face.
Stanley’s eyebrows turned up in confusion. Goodness, his Narrator did not look good.

[You ok?]

“Fine now, Stanley, thank you.”

Narrator clapped his hands together and at once returned to his normal bravado.

“Now! Do you have any idea where we are?”

Stanley shook his head, and The Narrator’s expression fell the slightest bit.

“Well, uhm, I vote we make our way towards that cottage over there, hm?”

[Sure.]

The two then walked towards the cottage.

Next character! Apologies for it being in two separate posts!

Username:

Surftail

Character name:

Stanley

Age:

Mid-thirties

Gender:

Male, he/him pronouns

Fandom:

The Stanley Parable

Appearance:

The most normal looking man in existence. No, seriously. Picture the average stock photo man, and you’re pretty much there. Stanley possesses short curly brown hair, that frames his face. His eyes are a warm brown, almost like caramel. His skin is impressively peachy and freckled, especially because his home dimension is literally just an office. He wears a white button-up shirt with a plaid pattern barely visible. His pants are green-ish brown, and feature many, many pockets. He wears the same style of loafers as The Narrator, however his are black in color. He’s much taller than Narrator too, towering at 6’1” while Narrator himself is more 5’4”

Personality:

Stanley is a force of chaos, but a very-well contained one. You tell him to go left, he’ll go right. You tell him to choose red, he’ll choose blue. You tell him to pick up a phone, he’ll unplug it. He enjoys pushing buttons, both metaphorically and literally, especially Narrator’s. Stanley tries his best to see the good in everyone. For someone who doesn’t speak, he is very expressive. He mainly uses sign to communicate, sometimes having to rely on Narrator as a translator. Signed text will appear in [] instead of “”

Abilities:

Millisecond-fast reflexes, although he doesn’t use them most of the time. Stanley also has a mental connection with The Narrator, which he uses for private conversations or jabs.

Alliance:

Guardian

Palpad?:

yes!

Password:

[Sorry, I only have 3 bucks. Is that enough?]

2/2!

Character name:

The Narrator (it’s an odd name, he knows)

Age:

Unknown, possibly millennia old. In a human form, looks middle-aged

Gender:

Prefers he/him pronouns, but doesn’t quite understand the concept of gender.

Fandom:

The Stanley Parable

Appearance:

As a being with many forms, it’s quite hard to nail down just one appearance for The Narrator. I assume you mean a more human form, however, so I will describe that. His skin is rather pale, no doubt from him not seeing the sun in a good long while. He wears purple wire-framed glasses, which he is constantly having to push up, as they sit low on his nose. Behind the glasses sit the man’s eyes. The color of these eyes tends to change, but normally settles on a forest or emerald green. When using his abilities, however, his eyes glow yellow. HIs hair is well-kept, medium-length, and greying. He believes it makes him look distinguished. His dress is normally formal, as he sports a tweed suit over a black button-up shirt. This palette is accented by a goldenrod yellow tie. His pants are the same color as his suit-jacket, but are made out a khaki material. His shoes are normal brown loafers.

Personality:

The Narrator projects a facade of professionalism. However, once you push the man enough, it all comes crumbling down. He does have a bit of a superiority complex, although he is working on it. He comes up with his own routines and plans, and prefers to stick to them. To someone who doesn’t know him well, Narrator can come off as cold, sarcastic, and unfeeling. However, he does have his soft spots, one in particular being Stanley.

Abilities:

As stated above, The Narrator has shape-shifting abilities. Specifically, he can shift into anything that can be qualified as ‘living’, even plants and fungi. He does also have the ability to coat his words with something he likes to call ‘suggestion’. This suggestion is resistible, however, especially with the strong-willed.
The Narrator also has a very specific mental connection with Stanley. The two can communicate mentally. From the outside, it must look like a one-way conversation, as The Narrator much prefers to speak over mental communication.

Alliance:

Guardians, but only for the purpose of protecting his own story (perhaps he will come around to everyone else’s with time)

Palpad?:

Sure!

“Ah, my apologies. It appears I am a few cents sort. That shouldn’t be a problem, should it?”

Had to re-write this entire thing as my page reloaded and didn’t save ;;

Hey! This looks really fun, However I do have a question before I jump in!

Is this rp for fandom OCs only, or are canon characters accepted as well?
