Out of those four, I'd be most inclined to get the Spiral, because her colors are the most pleasing to me (and also I prefer female Spirals to female Coatls and SD in general). The orange and blue Coatl is cute though, and I'd actually prefer her to the fully orange-range one.

Speaking of lv. 25 dragons, I have one that isn't exactly "pretty" either, but I couldn't get myself to exalt her either and ended up fully leveling her. I've not tried to sell her yet.

This relatively pretty girl though has been sitting in my lair for over a year; she's fully leveled and stoned, and while I've had people show interest, they never actually followed through with the purchase. Not sure how to feel about that. xD

A bit late to the "new Opal gene" party, but once more I have mixed feelings about a gene.

It's nice that there's a tertiary gene that uses the supplementary colors like Poi/Tox, Ski/Spin and Pet/Butt do.

But really it's kind of hit-or-miss to me. Mostly a miss. I don't really like the "crack" placement on most of the dragons, and it makes me a little sad.

I was sort of excited to see what my female (custom) progen would look like with it, and... While the colors technically tie everything together - yellow with the butterfly accent, blue with petal accent - I still think she looks horrid. (Picked a Nocturne for the scry because it looked best with the gene, imo).

Speaking of progens, I scatter-scrolled my male (random) progen again a couple days ago. That eye-stabbing purple primary really likes me, it seems.

Okay, I kind of feel like drawing, but I've the usual problem of "what do I even...", so I'll take this opportunity to bother y'all.

Would anyone like a gijinka of their dragon (you know, humanoid version of your dragon)? Might not look the best, and may take a couple days. Will be traditional. May or may not be colored (watercolors, if I can be bothered). I might be a little picky with choosing which one/s to draw. Bonus points for listing personality traits/bits of lore to help identify the character.

As to the breed question:
I love [male] Bogsneaks, [male] Spirals and [male] Coatls. As an entire breed, I think my favorite are Pearlcatchers.

I am eh about Wildclaws.

I am not a fan of Faes and I am always super salty about Skydancers. I don't like them, but darn it, all the genes end up looking best on them.

	I have a couple Crackle dragons that I absolutely adore, the gene really isn't that bad - but it does look kinda off/cluttered combined with a lot of other genes - it looks best on basic/irishim dragons, which makes it a little limiting. When they first came out, I hated Poison/Toxin, but now they are some of my favorite genes. :'>

My favorites for each placement would have to be Spinner, Peregrine and Glimmer (though Lace is growing on me!).

As to least favorites... I don't hate any of them, really. I used to really dislike a few, but then I got used to them. For each placement my least favorite ones might be (and this is not true for every dragon breed / color combination) Iridescent or Speckle, Seraph or Stripes, Crackle or Gembond.

I am a huge manchild, everything is a joke to me. Nothing is sacred. So no worries, no offense to be had there. I have no idea why you would associate me with pink, buuut that's good to know, and it's pretty funny (since "I hate pink with a burning passion". :'D).

According to that thread, I've chosen my flight well (Wind), and I probably shouldn't be moving anywhere. On the other hand, I really don't use the forums much. So in-flight communities don't make much of an impact on my choices. Aesthetically, I always found Plague the most appealing (with Wind and light tied as a close second), but the dominance orientation is putting me off slightly, plus the beautiful red eyes don't quite fit any of my dragon pairs (not that I breed a ton recently anyway).

Thanks everyone for the recommendations and your attempts to lure people over to join you. xD I think I will just stick to being forever a Windie, saves me the 1500 gems to move back there eventually. //Stingy

Speaking of switching flights, for the longest time I've been tempted to move out of Wind - just for the sake of my clan visiting another place. What kept me back are two things:

One, I do not have lore for my clan whatsoever. I have bits and pieces of story for some of my dragons, in my head (too lazy to write them down, way too lazy to make fancy-looking bios).

Two, I am not sure which flight I would migrate to. Either Light, Earth, Lightning or... Plague, so I could exalt half my lair and say "eh, they got the plague and passed on".

On a different note, as much as I am not a huge fan of the new Auction House... today I impulsed this first gen boy:

I've put a bunch of scries in his bio; which ones do you guys like best? I honestly like all of them, and I don't have too many of any of those species (other than the Bogsneak, but there's never too many Bogsneaks!).

	Color patterns. XYZ - Primary, secondary and tertiary are all different colors. XXX - Primary, secondary and tertiary are all the same color. XXY - Primary and secondary are the same colors, tertiary is off. XYY (or YXX) - Primary is off, secondary and tertiary are the same colors. [Read more]

Well, I do a lot of exalting. I have my Mire Flyer who can train two dragons at once - I get them up to level 7 (sometimes 8 or 9, but it's not really worth it), exalt, get new ones, rinse and repeat.

You get around 10k for exalting a level 7 dragon. You can get adult fodder at around 7-7.5k at the auction house, and it takes about 10 minutes to get them to level 7, so you can make roughly 6k profit every 10 minutes, even more so if you breed your own fodder. After a few hours, your hoard items (trinkets, materials) should also make you treasure in the high tens of thousands. If you don't need to use the food items for yourself, a full stack (99) of any Mire food other than plants goes for around 12-18k treasure at the AH.

It may sound daunting, but the numbers grow rather fast.

Honestly, saving up isn't all that difficult.

I could probably make a million treasure in two or three days of grinding the coli (when Trickmurk Circus started, I had 15k treasure, now, two weeks later, I am at 960k - after buying a bunch of festival skins - with barely any effort put into grinding).

Sure, not everyone has the time, and not everyone can leisurely use the coliseum, but still. If you have the time/tools, it's darn easy.
