Lucario let himself out of his Pokéball while his trainer, Ash Ketchum, was asleep alongside his partner Pokémon, Pikachu and his friends, Goh & Chloe, as well as old friends, Serena, Bonnie and her big brother, Clemont . He sent out to do some training outside Professor Sycamore's lab as Ash and Co. were staying at Kalos for a few days. He had tried to perfect Steel Beam for a while now for future World Coronation battles. He practiced his moves on some rocks. He had even managed to stay quiet as not to wake up . Before he could perform Steel Beam, he discovered that he wasn't the only on out of his pokéball, as he saw Serena's Pokémon, Braixen, spun from inside one of the rooms in the lab, her stick in hand, as music played.

Braixen was dressed in a silver and crystal blue tutu, ribbons on her head and tail as well as a tiara. Lucario smiled a bit, heading inside to see Braixen dance, but not before using Steel Beam on one of the rocks.

Pokéspeech: On.

"Oh, Braixen. I didn't expect you to be out of your Pokéball as well. I must admit, you look pretty." He said as he watched his trainer's friend's Pokémon sway over to him. He held onto her hand and she looked at Lucario, "Oh Lucario. I didn't mean to interrupt you. But since you're not training at the moment, I need you. There's a Pokémon Contest at Hearthome City at Sinnoh and it is themed as "ball at the castle" and Serena is one of the participants! But I need to practice dancing." Lucario smiled, but, he wanted to continue training. He did try to sound at least a bit sympathetic, "Braixen, I wish could help you, but I need to keep training. Can't it wait 'till tomorrow?"
"Please, Lucario, please?"

Lucario gave a sigh, but it was followed with a smile and said "Ok." He held Braixen a bit close to her and instructed Braixen calmly, "Here, you get just hold my hands. And I'll lead." Braixen put her wand stick back into her tail and and held onto Lucario's hands and soon, they were dancing.

But then, as soon as the last song on the tape ended, Pikachu walked in wondering what was going on, "Lucario? Braixen? What are you two doing up and out of your Pokéballs at this hour?" Braixen, still holding onto Lucario's hands said, "Oh nothing, Lucario and I were just dancing together." Pikachu looked at Lucario, who nodded with a proud smile on his face as he thought, 'Don't worry Pikachu, I will do my best to help Ash become the number one best trainer!' Pikachu smiled and went back upstairs to sleep, while Braixen looked at Lucario and gave him a kiss on the cheek, leaving Lucario blushing. "Well, its time for me to get some rest. Its midnight already!" Lucario smiled and said, "Okay. Good Night Braixen. I wish you, Serena, Pancham and Sylveon the best of luck on the Contest. I must continue training for a few hours and then I'll head back into my Pokéball." Braixen finally let go of Lucario's paws and she went back upstairs to her Pokéball.

"I'm telling you, Lucario. Serena and I are in the finals against Aria, I'm so excited." Serena's Braixen, now evolved into Delphox exclaims to Lucario from another room. Delphox was given a beautiful pink and gold tutu dress. Lucario came into the room and saw Delphox wearing the fancy dress. While Lucario didn't really care about the dress, yet he found Delphox quite beautiful in it; he was actually more hoping that Serena wins. Lucario asked, "Have you been practicing your moves as well as some dance moves?" Delphox walked towards Lucario, giggling, "Of course, my Magic Room/Mystical Fire/Dazzling Gleam combo is sure to please the crowd." Lucario nodded, "Ok." Delphox stepped from behind the door, "So? What do you think?"
The diamonds on the dress were sparkling and shimmering in the setting sun outside. Lucario smiled a bit. Delphox paused for a moment before smiling shyly, "Lucario, I know that the finals are in a few weeks away, but can you help me? I need to practice my dancing."

Lucario smiled a bit, "That sounds oddly familiar." Delphox stepped forward, "Please, Lucario, please?" Lucario smiled at her, "Of course, Delphox." And they danced in the same fashion they did when Delphox was once Braixen. Music was playing over the the song ended, Lucario kissed Delphox, "C'mon, Delphox. The dress is great, but it's getting late. We should be with our trainers."

"I can't believe we've been invited!" Level 68 Delphox squealed. She was excited that she and her trainer, Serena, now a Kalos Queen, along with her other Pokémon, Pangoro, Sylveon, Hattrene, Togekiss & Alcremie were invited to a Fancy dance party at Lohta Town. She was so excited, as Lucario smiled. Of course Lucario was happy for her, but he was still extremely stunned. He still stood by the door, watching Braixen and Sylveon chatter off about how excited they were and how Wallace of Hoenn was going to be there. He silently returned to Ash, who was now a Pokémon Master, but not before Delphox wandered over to him as Sylveon got her dress fitted.

"Lucario? Are you ok?"

Lucario looked up at her with a smile, "Of course I am. You really are going far." They embraced each other and Delphox said quietly, "It seems like yesterday I was just a Fennekin when I performed at my first Pokemon Performer Contest." Lucario smiled, "Yeah. You're still a wonderful Pokémon and Serena very is lucky to have you as her starter Pokémon." Delphox smirked, looking at her friend's face, "I know, and now matter what happens, we'll still be friends along just like how Ash and Serena are friends."

"Yeah. I know."

"And I still need to practice my dancing."

"Really?"

"Please, Lucario, please?"

Soon, they were dancing once more, Delphox's feet still on Lucario's. They were swaying to the music that was always played every night. Lucario smiled. He knew that his trainer, Ash and Serena were now more than just friends, they don't keep secrets from each other, but he, knowing Serena and her Pokémon for a long time now, knew everything about her.

"I love you, Lucario. Always."

"Me too."

As they danced, Lucario and Delphox kissed each other on the lips.

This fanfic was inspired by a Simpsons fanfic made by Kootie Bomb. This fanfic includes some Amourshipping as I ship Ash Ketchum with Serena. So I decided that Lucario and Braixen would be a perfect couple. Btw, The song that I don't own is called 'Cinderella' by Steven Curtis Chapman. Pokémon © Nintendo, Game Freak & The Pokémon Company
