Rival 1
Jay
One of two rivals you have, he picks the starter strongest against yours, and gets a more well-rounded team.
He helps the Professor out with his research, and is first seen in the Research Lab.

Rival 2
Marie/Adam
The other rival you have, is the opposite-gender to the main character. They also get the Starter that is weak against yours, and ends up with a team that may or may not be good.
They live, like usual, in the house next to yours.

Pokemon Professor
Professor Maple
He is researching the Legendary/Mythical Pokemon of Foxvale, and he wants to work out what their importance to the Foxvale Region really is. You can battle him multiple times throughout, and he has all three Starter Pokemon, though in the last battle you have with him, he has a Legendary that depends on which gender you are AND which game you play.
He is in the intro, first. And then you meet him formally when you reach the Pokemon Research Lab.

Team Leader: Rezarata
Lanapon
Are all Team Leaders male? Lanapon proves otherwise! Her main goal is to resurrect all of the Legendary/Mythical Pokemon, no matter what. Though, when teaming up, she wants to prevent the extinction of them all. She is very well-respected around her team, even if her goals can be off slightly.

Team Leader: Finala
Elozus
Another male Team Leader. Yay. His main goal is to remove all Legendary/Mythical Pokemon from existance, though he wants to stop them all from resurrected when you team up with him. He always thinks he knows what is best for someone or something, even if it isn't really.

Team Commander: Rezarata
Ithaep (If-ape)
The trusted Commander to Lanapon, and generally trustworthy. He never really knows what is happening sometimes, though he can tell right from wrong. He only follows what Lanapon tells him to do because he has nothing else to do.
You either fight him and a grunt, or you fight alongside him, at the first City.

Team Commander: Rezarata
Anairl (An-I-rul)
The female Commander of Team Rezarata, she is usually compared to a stalker with how she acts. She doesn't really mean any harm, though. Trust me on that.

Team Commander: Finala
Lesael
The female Commander for Team Finala, mainly only doing what she believes is right. Even if it isn't. She follows Elozus because she belives that he is doing the right thing for the people of Foxvale.
You either battle her and a grunt, or you battle with her, at the first City.

Team Commander: Finala
Ritsiel
Don't dare say his name his girly, he won't talk to you for a Week if you do. Even if he trusts you. He lives life in the moment, only knowing what happens at the now, not knowing what might happen depending on his actions. You can't blame him though, he is the youngest Commander any team has had so far.

Team Scientist: Rezarata
Elluus
While he says he is doing science, can you really believe him? Nobody knows. Especially since he likes to do his stuff away from others, even if they aren't dangerous at all. He doesn't actually know what Lanapon's goals are.
You first meet him at the Team Rezarata base, when he isn't doing something science-based.

Team Scientist: Finala
Otaron
He does the sciency stuff, so Elozus doesn't have to. Finding out exactly what risks something may have and doing random tests to work things out are part of his usual game. Usually.
He is always at the Team Finala base, so you meet him first when you find him there.

Team Grunts: Rezarata

Lesser members of Team Rezarata, either fought commonly, or teamed up with, depending on the Version. As always, they have the lesser Pokemon.
A fight at the first City you visit. You team up with one side, fighting the other.

He takes training from the school he went to, and now he helps heal your Pokemon at the Pokemon Centers! Duplicates of him, just because there always are.
The Pokemon Center you first visit, most likely in the first Town/City you have to go to.

Pokemart Person
Alyssa
Sells you stuff at any Pokemart you visit. Also at the Department Store there is.
The first Pokemart you visit.

Police Guy
Benjamin
He always gets to the scene too late, not being able to find out what was happening at all, though he tries. Also, he has a few Pokemon, just in-case he has to battle.
He comes shortly after your first Team Rezarata/Team Finala fight.
