*Frostbite blinked in surprise at how talkative about IceWings this dragonet could be despite never having been to the Ice Kingdom. He puffed out his chest a bit proudly before responding.*

Frostbite: Well, it's amazing there. There's this beautiful ice palace that never melts or cracks, and the walls reflect the weather outside so you can see snow falling inside or outside. There used to be a rankings wall, but Queen Snowfall destroyed it when she came to power. We would have quite a few animus dragons, but Foeslayer, *he said with a snarl,* stole that from our tribe.

*Frostbite concluded that Blizzard clearly wasn't in the science classroom and turned around to go look elsewhere. He didn't expect to see Snowstroller, however, and flinched upon noticing the dragonet watching him. The IceWing instinctively swiped at her as self-defense from being startled, but his claws missed her face by almost an entire foot, so no damage was done.*

Autumn: I'm Autumn, and I'm… Uh, not sure. Maybe my leafspeak is strong enough to resist burns? I'm glad I didn't just burst into flames upon bumping into you. S-sorry about doing that, by the way. I should've been paying more attention.

*Frostbite was walking around the hallways, peeking into multiple of the classrooms trying to find Blizzard. He would also like to see Stargazer, but he's almost confident that she's still in the hallway. The IceWing poked his head curiously into the science classroom.*

*The young NightWing was startled by the hybrid's reaction (funny enough) and flinched, but she smiled when Aloe hugged her.*

Stargazer: I could tell! He likes me, and I guess I like him too, but not as strongly. I don't want to hurt his feelings by telling him that, though. And Summer, I was jus- *She heard something fall somewhere in the hallway and it distracted her long enough to make her lose her train of thought.* …Wait, what was I saying?

(istg i haven't been able to post for 9 WHOLE PAGES so I'll just say:
Axolotl tried to move into the history classroom but got distracted by Blizzard walking in and started talking to him about animus history, Frostbite walked off to find Blizzard, Blizzard moved into the library, Autumn has been talking to plants around the place (she has leafspeak), and Stargazer saw the argument but didn't want to say anything because she's worried she might say the wrong thing.)

Stargazer's POV

*Stargazer had been following Aloe and Nova in secret while holding an enchanted rock (she enchanted it to make her invisible while she's holding it.) She still felt bad about seeing the arguement between the two dragons she'd tried to befriend and wanted to fix it, so she stepped out of the view of the hallway, took a deep breath and set the rock down, and walked into the room where Summer and Aloe were.*

Stargazer: I tend to say random things too. …S-sorry, I've got a good sense of hearing and couldn't help but overhear- *She twitched back her wings and hoped she didn't just make the conversation awkward by randomly inserting herself into it.*

Autumn's POV

*Autumn had been kind of just aimlessly wandering the halls up till this point, a bit nervous about all these new dragons, so she'd been talking to the plants around the school. She turned a corner and accidentally bumped into Helianthus, burning a few scales on her side (but quickly healing thanks to her leafspeak).*

Autumn, holding her side: Ow! *She hissed through her teeth at the mild pain as the burn marks slowly faded from her scales. She regained her composure (for the most part) and managed to make eye contact with Helianthus, her tail flicking nervously.* I-I'm so story, I didn't know tha- that there was s-someone else in these halls right now-

Axolotl/Blizzard's POV

*The pair of dragonets were discussing the IceWing animus bloodline in the library, with each asking questions and mentally taking notes. Elsewhere in the library, Starflight was busy carefully organzing scrolls on a shelf, making sure they were each in the right place.*

Axolotl: Why did Queen Diamond go insane?

Blizzard: She used her animus magic too much and it made her lose her soul.

Axolotl, nervously: O-oh.

Stargazer: Yeah, I guess you can be in the conversation. Hi, Frostbite. Were you looking for me?

Frostbite, frustrated at himself: Three moons, Frostbite! At least try to hide your feelings for her. She's a NightWing, and you're an IceWing. So act like one!

*Stargazer giggles at hearing Frostbite talk to himself in his head, but she hides it because she's not ready to tell the others that she can read minds yet.*

*Stargazer turned around in surprise, not expecting the sudden greeting from two of the founders of the academy. She nearly hits Aloe with her tail, but manages not to.*

Stargazer: H-hi! We're uh, just talking about the tribes and differences between hybrids and tribrids. What are you two here for?

Frostbite/Blizzard's POV

*Frostbite was walking around the halls, looking for Stargazer (but he said he was looking for food, because he wouldn't dare tell Blizzard, an IceWing, that he had a crush on Stargazer, a NightWing.) Blizzard was sitting in the history classroom, trying to see if he could find any scrolls about the animus history of the IceWings to read. Frostbite eventually managed to find Star, but before he could say anything, he noticed Tsunami and Sunny and straightened his posture to look more dignified, but not quite snooty. He approached the group slowly and addressed her and the others with a polite tone.*

Frostbite: Hello Stargazer, Tsunami, Sunny, other two dragons I don't know. Why are we all gathered here in the hallway?

Axolotl's POV

*Axolotl was in the library, happily reading about The Scorching in a corner. She didn't used to be so excited about reading, but Stingray managed to get her interested in it. She wished he was here so he could help her take notes and maybe talk to Starflight a bit as well.*

Name: Autumn

Nicknames: Fall

Dragon Tribe: LeafWing

Appearance: Unlike most LeafWings, Autumn's scales are a mixture of red and orange, and her wing membrane is yellow. She has bright blue eyes & a noticable scar on her right arm (a HiveWing attacked her.) She also wears a bracelet that she tends to fiddle with when she's nervous.

Personality: Autumn is easily startled, but aggressive when in danger

Backstory: Autumn was almost killed by an adult HiveWing as a dragonet, but her father (Aspen) saved her by strangling them with vines. This attack led her to avoid HiveWings for most of the rest of her life so far, with the only exception being a particularly nice HiveWing dragonet named Hoverfly.

Any interesting facts: Autumn loves animals & she can heal any plant with her powerful leafspeak.

Animus?: Yes

Appearance: He has shimmering sky-blue eyes & wings, white scales, & a scar running down his neck. He's usually scowling about something.

Personality: He has a quick temper and will easily resort to violence if provoked, but he's trying to be better about empathizing with others.

Backstory: Got attacked by a crazy IceWing as a dragonet, which is the reason for his name (he was incredibly young at the time.) That IceWing gave him a big scar on his neck, but he likes to tell others that it's a sign of ferocity. He hasn't told his sister that he's an animus yet, but he's worried to.

Any interesting facts: He has a soft spot for polar bears and a taste for blood, but he's not bloodthirsty or vicious.

Gender: Male

Age: 12

Dragon Tribe: IceWing

Animus?: No

Appearance: Blizzard is a lot bigger than most IceWings his age, and he has quite a few scars all over his body. He has navy blue eyes, & his left eye has a scar over it. He has a fur scarf that he wears almost constantly as well as a diamond-shaped earring on his left ear. His body is pale light blue, except for the icicle-like spines that run down his back, which are light gray, & his wing membrane is pure white with scattered flecks of gray. His claws & horns are very sharp.

Personality: Blizzard is quite observant, and has a keen eye for detail to go with this. He is easily flattered, but also cunning with how he plans things. He doesn't like SkyWings very much for some mysterious reason.

Backstory: Blizzard's parents were killed in a battle when he was 2 1/2 years old, so he taught himself how to hunt and survive. Some of his scars may have come from battles with other dragons.

Any interesting facts: He has an unnervingly strong sense of hearing, & some of the other IceWings think his earring is enchanted to amplify it.

Animus?: Yes

Appearance: Axolotl is a bright blue SeaWing with red webbing/wing membrane & pink eyes. She's smaller than her twin brother, Eel, but she's smarter than him.

Personality: Axolotl is an opportunist when it comes to meeting new dragons. She loves to interact & is usually seen talking to other SeaWings, but she also talks to animals. She also loves collecting seashells.

Backstory: N/A (For now...)

Any Interesting Facts: As far as anyone knows, the only time she's enchanted something was a bracelet, & she enchanted it so that she could talk to animals while she wears it. She's extremely protective of this bracelet and refuses to let anyone else hold or touch it.

Dragon Tribe: NightWing

Powers?: Animus magic, mindreading, prophecy

Appearance: Stargazer has bright yellow eyes with silver teardrop scales behind them, but she normally covers these scales with dust to hide them. She's small, but a lot healtier and spunkier than most NightWings are. Her body is a very dark shade of purple, and her scutes are yellow-ish. The undersides of her wings are a gradient of navy blue & dark purple, and some of the scales scattered under her wings are gold-colored rather than silver.

Personality: Stargazer is a social butterfly, always taking an opportunity to make a new friend. She loves painting and astronomy, hence all the paintings & various space-related objects in her base on SkyWing territory.

Backstory: N/A (For now...)

Any interesting facts: She can read minds, but she tends to hide it for a while at a time. She's best friends with Shimmer, a RainWing dragonet who loves playing games like hide-&-seek.

Nightmare: I'm technically a hybrid too, I have SkyWing DNA. *He slowly unfurls his enormous wings as proof. Corvid opens his wings as well, but frowns a bit at how much smaller his wingspan is.* And there's also… *He bares his teeth and flexes his claws to show that they're tinted slightly red, as if bloodstained.* You're a lot less of a freak than I am.

*Stargazer opens her mouth to say something, but hesitates. Stingray looks at Nightmare's wings in awe.*

*The huge NightWing cranes his head towards the sky and looks around, as if scanning for something. He then turns back to face Snowstroller.*

Nightmare: I'm not sure, but perhaps you did. Cryo's mind is a bit… confusing. It's usually got some kind of barrier around it. I don't think he's back yet.
