I completely got out of the mood for RPing and just didn't come back to this

Zeph woke up at the sound of the drum. "Am I late?" he asked himself and turned onto his side to look at his clock. "Nah, still some time." He got out of bed and arranged his armor. "All set," he smiled and got into his armor, then headed to the prison.

[i do realize zeph's armor is technically for females but eh, i have a feeling he wouldn't be the type to get all meched out n stuff. He's more of a hit-fast-and-run kind of dude. /shrug]

Elsie had begun to wake up. She hadn't had a very good night's sleep anyway, being as she was currently sleeping on a cot. She reminded herself to thank Callista later; it was due to her she had somewhere to sleep at all. She sat up and winced as the cot beneath her squeaked loudly. She might as well be trying to wake the whole street up.

As she walked--more like tiptoed, she admitted to herself--to the kitchen to get some coffee. Callista had already invited Elsie to make herself at home, so there was no problem here. She opened up one of the cupboards, took out a mug, and started to brew herself some coffee. Obviously the smell woke her host, because she was met with a sigh. "Nothing like a cup of joe bright and early, huh?"

"Oh, sorry, Cal, thought you wouldn't mind," Elsie shrugged. "And you're right about the coffee thing." She took her cup out of the coffee maker and took a sip. "Nice..."

"You know, one of these days you should think about getting a job. Pretty sure I'm not the only one getting tired of you exploiting us and taking all our food," her host, a tall brunette laughed.

"Oh, shut up, eh? All the jobs I've applied for haven't gotten back to me. Probably see my records and drop it in the trash can," Elsie replied. "Anyway, partying's more fun."

Callista smacked Elsie upside the head. "I told you you should've thought ahead!"

"Well, what's past is past," Elsie shrugged and continued to drink her coffee.

[Disclaimer: I apologize for any grammatical errors, I'm sick and tired and should be asleep, but I want to roleplay, heh. ''^^

Callista is a friend of Elsie's btw, I just felt like having her stay somewhere and at a friend's house seemed to be good. If you want I can make a form for her, but she's more of an NPC and won't show up a lot (if at all after Elsie leaves, idk).]

Milo tossed and turned in his bed, turning from his back to his side to the other side. He blinked and fumbled around for his glasses. It was about 4:30 am, approximately. Any normal kid his age would be asleep, but he hadn't gotten more than twenty minutes of rest out of every hour. When had he gone to sleep? He blinked again and turned onto his back. "I went to my room at 10:00." He paused and thought for a bit longer. "So... two hours... Darn it..." He sat up and glanced out of his window. The sky wasn't even beginning to brighten yet. He flicked his bedside lamp on and picked up the book on the bedside table and began to read.

Personality: Milo is the quiet type. He has social anxiety and had separation anxiety when he was young. He tries to avoid people but when that doesn't work he usually makes a fool of himself (or at least he convinces himself that he does). He loves photography and usually carries around a camera to take pictures of the environment.
History (Optional): When he was young, he often hung onto his mother's shirt when she dropped him off to primary school. Children started calling him "Leech" due to this habit and dampened his confidence a ton. He was mostly a loner as a child--yes, he had a few close friends who sometimes stood up for him, but he always resorted to books when given the opportunity. He learned to read at a young age (though he did poorly at other subjects in school) and grew an interest in photography from his picture books.

History: At the age of 14, when arriving home with her sister after a party with some of their friends, they discovered their house had been robbed and both of their parents shot and killed. Their friend's mother, who had dropped them off, called the police. Over the next few years, Elsie and Maude were put into foster care and separated. For the next four years, Elsie became a delinquent and involved herself with a life of crime. When she was eighteen, she ran away from her foster parents and stayed at a hotel for as long as she could, but ended up hiding out at an older friend's college dorm. When she was twenty-one, she reunited with her sister by chance and spent a happy year with Maude. Elsie began to change her ways and ultimately reform because of her sister's reappearance, but their parents' death and their separation had taken a toll on Maude and she became a victim to the Masked Man.
