Amadeus suspected as much. Part of him really did not like how that sounded. But what grounds did he have to make a call to someone? Obviously others knew about this man and his questionably legal pets. If he saw something that confirmed his suspicions, he would make a call. For now, he would see to it they got the care and attention they needed. Starting with that beautiful tiger. "Yes, Sir. I will make sure I do it all to your liking," Amadeus said, respectfully. "Do you mind if I start now? I think it'd be best for them to learn my scent soon so that they don't mistake me for prey or an unwelcomed guest."

Max frowned recognizing many from the task force that was assembled to catch the resistance. However, he saw a few people he could have sworn were with him. Angrilly, he marched past them. Seeing Casie, he breathed a bit easier. She was okay, though he expected she would be.

Andromeda nodded, looking past the death and destruction. "This way," she said, walking past Cassie. "There is a hidden room here. Three people are in there. Two are smaller. I don't see features. Just body heat right now."

Amadeus hurried after him. He looked over the animals, impressed with each. He didn't like the idea of putting all of the other animals on the wayside. But when he laid eyes on the Bengal...he was in love! She was gorgeous! He knew going to actually touch her was probably not going to happen but he could look after her. "I understand, sir. She is beautiful. Where did you get her?" He asked.

Maggy smiled, leading the way. "We don't deal with many big cats or primates. But we are equipped to hold a few for a bit. We've got mostly the smaller exotics here. Those that people get then decide they no longer want. Though, we have many that have come from less happy backgrounds. A couple were used in sideshows. A crocodile who was trained for wrestling, a few sugar gliders from a circus. The panda was being trained to perform tricks. They were not very nice. But he is on the mend." She led Jabrielle past a couple of reptile tanks. There were some rooms for dogs, cats, and exotic fish.

Creeping towards the door, Max couldn't help but admire Cassie's work with the door. He hurried through the house, making sure he had Magda and Andromeda on his heels. Trying to use his memory to lead them, Max made his way to a cellar door. Looking up at the woman, he counted down from three before opening it to check what was inside. Bottles of wine greeted him. Max closed the door before searching through other rooms with the woman.

Andromeda paused, reaching out to touch a spot on her knee. She whispered a name, summoning the power she had been lent through that deal. "This way," she said softly, turning towards a hallway. She could see through things. Walls, doors, natural barriers. If there was a hidden room, as she much expected, she would find it.

Amadeus made his way over, nodding to the men he passed in a silent greeting. He knocked on the door swiftly before taking a step back. His note had said to wait for someone to come collect him.

After a moment the door opened, revealing a smiling, welcoming woman. "You must be Jabrielle! Oh, I am so very happy to see you! I am Maggy, and I run the sanctuary here. It's been kind of a busy evening so far. We just got in a red panda. He's kind of skittish, at least so far. But I imagine it is the move. Would you like a tour?"

Amadaus made his way up the long, perfectly manicured lawn. His mother telling him his zoology degree was a waist of time flashed through his head. He smiled. Oh really? He had a fancy new gif with it. Living here and taking care of the mans private collection of exotic animals. He was most excited for the Bengal tiger. Such pretty, majestic creatures...Parking his beat up little red Ford Ranger, Amadaus stepped out of his car and swung his backpack over his shoulder.

Max winced as he realized the stones had to be hurting Cassie's feet. He looked up, hoping he could tell her they were close and her pain in making a trail was no longer needed. That's when Max found he knew the path. It led to one house. One admittedly massive house, but one house none the less. And he had trusted the man who lived inside. "...the girls had better not be with him...but my girls had better be here," he growled softly, urging Razz to ride faster.

Razz was ready to go, raaring to run. But he remained calm and sturdy while Max turned to the girls. "Do either of you need a hand up?" He asked.

Andromeda shook her head, climbing up the door to the stall the mare had been in. Carefully, she mounted the horse before closing the door with her boot. "I got it. Magda, do you need a hand up?" She asked. The mare, Razz's neighbor, was completely unphased by the strange, dark skinned human climbing onto her back. Though, she turned her head to nuzzle her leg. Razz's human let them in. They had to be good people. He took care of Razz. Where were his little humans with their sugar and carrots?
