Stormflight's slight negativity in her expression faded, but her worry for Snowpaw remained. "Yeah, she could use a challenge." She agreed, noting the apprentice's emotions she had seen just the moment before. She shook her head slightly. "So, uh, how's... hunting going?" She asked, her mind blank. Snowpaw padded through the territory, setting foot onto the beach. She sat down and stared at the water, slightly wanting to go in, but at the same time just wanting to turn and go. Maybe I could at least touch the water..? No warrior had ever let her do that before, not even Stormflight. It was ridiculous how cats tended to treat her like a helpless kit, but a small part of her couldn't blame them. Curiously, she approached the water and placed a paw in, instantly pulling it out in surprise at how cold it was to her. She stepped away from the ocean, and quickly walked into the forest to look for something else to do. [Read more] |

Stormflight blinked in worry, watching Snowpaw exit the camp. She remained hesitant for a few moments before turning her head to face Nightfeather. "O-Oh yeah, she's fine... she just believes she's not trying hard enough, that's all." 'Not trying hard enough?' Great answer, mouse-brain. "Err, I mean she's just insecure of herself. Stormflight sat by Snowpaw again. "What's wrong this time?" She asked calmly. The apprentice sighed. "I'm weak.." Her head hung low. Stormflight sighed, lifting Snowpaw's head to face her with her tail. "You're not weak. You're young. You may have brought back a mouse, but it's still something we can eat." She reminded the white cat. "I guess I... err, I dunno. I don't want to talk now." She mewed and padded off to look for something to do. [Read more] |

Snowpaw padded back with a single mouse. She dropped it and went to sit at the edge of camp alone. Mudrain walked into the den and slept near the entrance, positioned in his nest that didn't give him much warmth over the floor's coldness. While he rested, Stormflight stood up and stretched. Stormflight padded past the arguing cats with a mouse, a bird, and a squirrel, and carried them back to the pile. She dropped it just after Mudrain did and yawned. "How's hunting going?" She asked, bored. "Exhausting." He stated and sat down with nothing else to do. [Read more] |

Stormflight buried her catch for the moment and looked up a tree. She clawed her way up and slowly stalked a small bird. Carefully, she pounced and caught it, jumping down. Mudrain looked down at his prey. "I should take these back." He sighed and began to drag the fish back to camp. [Read more] |

Edited in their appearances :I "I wish they could just get along.." Snowpaw sighed, feeling a little sad. Mudrain jumped out of the water with a third catch in his jaws. He dropped it and shook the water from his fur, watching the arguing. "Those two just need to ignore each other if they're gonna be like that." He sighed. Stormflight caught a squirrel, overhearing Raccoonmask and Amberpath. She looked up at them and rolled her eyes. Some cats need to deal with each other. She thought. [Read more] |

Snowpaw watched, wondering if she would ever be strong enough to hunt as the warrior did. Mudrain was really trying, diving down and coming back up to take a breath, then struggling to get deeper in for better prey. Was it really that hard? He'd eventually managed to drag a larger fish out of the water and drop it beside his first catch. "Is it hard to hunt?" She asked, her head tilted slightly. He had forgotten she was watching, and shook his head. "No. I guess I'm just.. tired." He said blankly. "So is that how I could hunt when I'm a warrior?" She asked again with excitement showing in her eyes. "Yeah, when you're a warrior." He answered, purring slightly at the young cat's enthusiasm. He turned to jump back in for another one. Stormflight padded through the territory, searching for something to catch. She wasn't quite as strong as other cats to hunt in the sea, so she tended to stay away from the beaches. [Read more] |

Snowpaw stepped out of the den, blinking her narrowed eyes as the light filled her vision. She padded to the den entrance and sat just next to it, her tail curled over her paws and her head low. Stormflight noticed the blankness on the apprentice's face and decided to talk to her. "Is something wrong?" Her voice startled Snowpaw. "I-I'm scared..." The white cat murmured, shyly looking at her paws. "It's going to be okay, I promise." Stormflight said in an unusually soft voice, taking a seat beside her. "We're going to be fine. If you survived the rock slide, you can survive about anything." The apprentice wasn't convinced, but nodded anyway and stood up to quietly head out of camp. Mudrain padded along the beach, gazing out at the water. Usually when he went out there, fish were always too fast for him, which really frustrated the warrior, considering he was meant to fight and actually catch prey for the Clan, including fish. He took a deep breath and waded out into the water, keeping on the shallow parts and searching for anything. Finally he spotted a fish, and dove down to snap at it. He came back up successful, but practically choking on the water. He darted out of the sea as fast as he could and dropped the fish just before coughing up water. Great idea. He shook the water from his pelt. No one saw me, right? Mudrain hoped he was alone. [Read more] |

But one day, when Treeleaf, their mother, became very sick shortly after their father died falling out of a tree while hunting, Mudrain stayed at his mother's side, secretly knowing she would die anyway beneath all the hope he had. Stormflight was nowhere to be seen, but there was about no time to get her; his mother was dying. He stayed with her for hours, even hours past she was dead. Kin: Stormflight, Treeleaf and Stonetail (deceased parents) Other: Name: Stormflight Age: 19 moons Gender: Female Rank: Warrior Appearance: Here History: When the day came that her mother died of sickness, Stormflight was out hunting at the time with Snowpaw. She had no idea that her only parent was dying, and soon enough almost witnessed death herself as a [insert enemy name here] jumped at Snowpaw, nearly killing the little apprentice. The warrior fought it off and dragged the white cat back to camp with most injuries being on herself. As they returned, she collapsed in the middle of camp after hearing the news of her mother's death. She was mentally scarred, and this for her felt like it happened ages ago. Personality: Sarcastic, loyal, competitive, a bit of a temper, can be careless or moody. She has a more adventurous side that shows more often than her friendly and generous side. Mate/Crush: None yet.. Kin: Mudrain, Treeleaf and Stonetail (deceased parents) Other: She is very protective of Snowpaw, and tends to make sure she's okay quite often. It happened shortly after Snowpaw's parents died themselves (Im too lazy to think of how they died) and she was in shock from almost dying herself. She was once a brave, determined young kit, but after that experience, she changed almost entirely and often tends to hang around Stormflight, who treats her as her little sister. The deputy was about to organize a patrol, but decided instead to visit the nursery. "Ripplecloud?" He called softly into it. Blackbird watched the kits play in amusement.
