I bought a couple fodder dragons today - apparently they were indeed a couple. They are both in the color range of Maroon / White / White... I checked their children - one was Aqua / Aqua / something and entirely different gene combo (Iri/Butt as opposed to Cry/Face). I derped for a moment, wondering how that was possible... lol

Turns out it was someone's birthday dragon and they prettied her up... a lot. *v*
Meanwhile the other child from that couple is for sale for 50k treasure - some people just can't resist the urge of overpricing something that has recently become a trend. Disgusting people.

	To be honest, if you can find him a good home, then I don't mind if you sell him off. I'm always suffering from the Overcrowded Lair Syndrome, too. Also I think I am going to re-gene these Coatls momma; she looks gorgeous with Thylacine.

The only problem with that is if the offspring got momma's tert and papa's primary (clown), they'd be hideous.

Thylacine looks SO bad with anything other than the simple, flat genes (basic, iridescent, piebald, maybe vipera) and on anything that is not XYX/XXX. D;

I have two Coatl babies for sale!

This girl, XXY, Aqua Clown / Aqua Paint / Teal Underbelly

And this boy, XXX, Aqua Piebald / Aqua Current / Aqua Underbelly.

(I love this boy so much, aaaah...)

They are 15k treasure each; I can haggle. I would request that you don't exalt them immediately, and if you do choose to exalt, please name them.

	Progens are ONLY the 1st generation dragons you get from the registration process. They are untradeable, unsellable, and exalting them is also generally a waste (no dom bonuses and such). So your third dragon, or any other dragon you got or hatched or bred for that matter, is not a progen. :'> [Read more]

Nice adventure. A little long, but these are the most fun (even if horribly expensive).

I am thinking of scattering both my progens...

I like what I came up with for my random, and I reasonably like what I was suggested by people in this thread for my custom... but I don't... love either of them. Their terts aren't super fitting either.

But then again, I realized that the two of them made reasonably pretty babies together.
(Silver to Lavender primary range, Denim to Aqua secondary range, Blue to Soil tertiary, which is admittedly the worst.)

Well technically gems are a little cheaper, since the bigger the batch you buy, the more you get extra. :'>

On another note, I realized I really can't keep any more of my own Coatl hatchlings, no matter how much I love them.

So, I've decided that this girl, whom I wanted to keep, needs a new home.

Her brother (pre-named: Champion) is also looking for a lair to call home.

I'll probably make a thread on FR forums for them if no one here wants them, since I'd really like them to live a while instead of turning into fodder right away.

I'd ask 20k per, but I can haggle.

Sorry for the holdup, guys!

The choice for the winner of the first topic was tough, and I loved all of the entries. To be honest I think you all deserve first place, but alas, there can only be one. //cue Highlander music

Without further ado,

The winner of Topic #1 is Xion.

The deciding factor was that this was the only entry with a winter theme (which was specified for all of the topics, though to be fair, if the competition wasn't so tight, I wouldn't have cared about this technicality). ;v;
