For pokemon to breed perfectly, you need the pokemon with the same species. Same species means like for example pikachu with another pikachu. If for example you breed pikachu with eevee, then the chance of them breeding will be lower. After that, you also need one pokemon with your OT(Origin trainer) which means that you hatch it yourself, and breed it with another OT which means its from another trainer. If you do both of those steps, you will get a perfect match pokemon ^^
