Blackbird crouched on a branch, stalking a squirrel. She pounced and missed it, then ended up chasing it from branch to branch. She eventually lost it and jumped to the ground in disappointment. Growling, she walked along in search of prey until an unfamiliar scent struck her, but she knew it was a cat outside of the Clan. Another mouse-brained rogue? Sweetkit felt a flash of emotion overwhelm her at Sunkit's statement. "My parents are dead." She said blankly, staring at the ground. Tigerkit shot a quick glare at Cloudkit. "You don't even know if Sunkit will be leader. It could be any one of us. It could even be Lunarkit." He sighed. "Just forget it." He nudged Sweetkit gently. They padded out of the nursery and went to share a mouse from the pile.

Daybreak nodded and headed into the warriors den. He had heard before that the older warriors slept in the center of the den where it was warmest, so he chose a random spot in the back and rested.

"Yeah, right! I'm gonna be the best!" Tigerkit mewled. "Please don't argue!" Sweetkit interrupted her brother's upcoming protest. "There's no point in arguing when I'm gonna be the best." She poked him teasingly.

	(I feel stupid now well I've been stupid all month sorreh) Daybreak met eyes with Stormhiss. The deputy mouthed out, "Congratulations." Daybreak shook slightly. He was getting too excited to run through the forest as a warrior. He jumped down from le rock that he magically teleported onto while Yellowstar was talking and was congratulated by mah other cats, including the kits. [Read more]

Daybreak.

Daypaw looked up curiously and happily bounded to have a seat in front of le rock. Blackbird and Ambereye sat together off to the side, while Stormhiss went up to be beside the apprentice. He looked up at Yellowstar patiently while Daypaw shook slightly in curiosity/enthusiasm/whatever.

Sweetkit and Tigerkit looked up and ran to join them, but Ambereye held them back. "You aren't old enough to hunt, are you?" She said. "Yes we are!" They mewed. She purred and gently pushed them back towards the nursery. "You will be soon, though."

Snowpaw leaned against Adderpaw to support his balance. "Got it?" She asked softly.
