Kali did her best to look around the room to see who was in it. She wasn’t really interested in getting to know who everyone was, so she just ignored them and continued looking, allowing her Pokémon to do as they pleased. A certain scene caught her attention though, one involving the two she had seen before in her room. Hmm... maybe she could find entertainment there... She walked up to the two, her froslass not too far behind, and barged in. “Oooh I didn’t know you had knives! I have a few too!” She pulled out her own pocket knife, but didn’t open it. She realized she was totally out of character, which might’ve made the situation a bit more awkward than it already was when she interrupted. Speaking of that... From what she heard about Echo, the whole “instinct” and “not so good family”, she took interest in her. She seemed like a fun person to hang around with considering her background. “Aaaanyways, what where you guys talking about?”

She did a swift motion, moving two of her fingers from her temple outwards as a sign of hello. Wait... how did more people come since the last time she was in here? Anyways, she thought it would be rude to ignore the questions asked to her, so she replied. “No thanks, but I bet these guys would.” Froslass was hanging the back of the line following Kali, seemingly not wanting to be noticed. “Uhh... I’m Kaliana, or Kali if you want to be lazy, and these guys are Ryuk and Ciande.” She motioned her hand to the respective Pokémon as she said their name, allowing her to not have to talk as much. At the compliment, Ryuk let out a happy squeal before moving ahead of Kali in order to get the marshmallows as quickly as he could. “Ah... sorry about that, I guess he’s just a bit hungry.” She rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly and had a small, apologetic smile on her face.

After a few minutes of sitting in silence, Kali snapped back into reality from her own thinking due to the loud comment about her flygon. She looked around and realized it was probably someone outside, but she immediately adverted her attention to Ryuk after noticing that he was looking out the window longingly, like there was something that he wanted on the other side. Kali gave a small smile before standing up again and walking over to the door. “Ah... So you want some of those marshmallows, don’t ya?” After an eager nod, Kali let out a small chuckle before looking over at Ciande. “Do you want to come...?” She asked cautiously. With a slow nod, Ciande slowly made her way over to the door and walked out to join the others in whatever they were doing.

Everyone else seemed to be having fun, well assuming she was hearing it correctly. She was quite far from the room everyone was at, including outside, so it was hard to hear what was going on. She just heard various mentions of food and introductions... Anyways, she felt a little bad that she didn’t join the fun. Even if she wanted to, she didn’t think she could. Not with Froslass... Flygon was simply far too big to be in an area like that, he was an almost 7 foot dragon after all. Then again, wasn’t there someone with a tropius? Weren’t those things massive? Well, not like it mattered anyways. She didn’t want to talk to anyone anyways, they all seemed too... energetic? She didn’t doubt that there would be others there not involved much in the conversation, but that didn’t sway her decision all that much. Well, that was that. “Hey... Ciande?” Kali noticed that she was done eating and was just floating there, looking at Ryuk who was on the other side of the room menacingly. She didn’t perk up or turn to face Kali when she heard her name, discouraging Kali from continuing. “Y-you don’t hate me... do you?” In response to the question, Ciande closed her eyes and sent another cold and chilly wave down her spine. Cinade simply shook her head and did nothing else. Well... that was somewhat reassuring. But if she didn’t hate her... What was bothering her?

Kali set the food down on her bed and stared at it for a while. She knew Flygon would behave and eat some of it, but Froslass... Could she really trust it? She didn’t want to leave it in it’s pokeball while her and flygon ate but... Did she have a choice? She didn’t want anything else to happen, but she also didn’t want her to be left out. With a bit of regret, she sent out Ciande and Ryuk, both of them seemed a bit tired. She quickly put the pokeballs back on her belt and looked at Ciande cautiously. So far, it didn’t seem like anything was wrong. She looked a little mad, but wasn’t doing anything. Ryuk on the other hand dug straight into the food, gobbling it up like a guzzlord. “Hey hey! Leave some for us!” She quickly moved the plate away to prevent him eating anymore, then looked back at Froslass. “Do... do you want some?” She nervously asked, holding the plate out in front of her and showing it to them. After what seemed like a sigh, one that sent a wave of an icy chill, the Froslass took the plate and began to eat. Ryuk tried to get close to get some more but Ciande scared him off with a glare and a small icicle that appeared out of nowhere. Kali gave a sad smile as she looked at the two, quite relieved that everything had calmed down.

These were the times he thanked himself for refusing to drink alcohol. From seeing how these people acted from the hangovers, he didn’t want to be a part of it. Sure it might’ve been fun while it lasted but was it really worth it? He sighed and walked his way to his car. He wouldn’t think anyone else needed a ride, considering someone else had already offered, but he couldn’t be too sure. “If any of you still need a ride, I’m open.” He practically mumbled, still a bit uncomfortable with the group. Even then, he still wanted to talk to someone on the ride. He had briefly looked at the location and it seemed pretty far away, and it wouldn’t be pleasant for him to sit alone in silence, the only thing able to keep him occupied would be turning on the radio.

Kali grumbled as she got up from the bed and went to the door. “I didn’t even ask for it...” Even in the annoyed tone, you could still tell she was a little grateful. She opened the door and looked at the food that was given to her, quite surprised at how well it was made. Before she took it, she looked up at Jay curiously. “You said your family had a restaurant, right?” She asked, the words were a bit slurred due to her exhaustion. “My grandparents had one too... They had it in the city, so stray Pokémon would come and get some food too.” She realized she was going on a tangent and stopped, letting out yet another sigh as she took the food. “Anyways, thanks. Sorry for all the trouble...”

Normally she would agree with what they had told her, but it wasn’t the case this time. She had been with these two for her entire life but they still seemed like they didn’t want to be with her. Flygon had listened to her for the most part but Froslass... She said nothing as she looked out of the window, away from the two and sighed. She just had to figure out what to do, figure out how to get Froslass out of its stubborn shell and warm up to her... “Thanks...” she muttered under her breath before sitting back on the bed

She let out an annoyed and pained sigh before turning to Echo and Jay. “I-I’m sorry...” that sentence nearly came out as a growl, almost making it seem like it wasn’t genuine. “This froslass... it’s a pain in the butt...” there was a brief moment where she could see the damage Ciande had caused before it was cleaned up and taken care of. She would need to thank the gen gæ and the trainer later... “Just... don’t worry about it, go back to eating pie or whatever you guys were doing...” she said harshly, not even realizing the tone she was using.

In the days that had passed, Geo had gotten the belongings he needed and moved them to the room of his. He had a hard time keeping up with the group and their plans for the upcoming leave, making him vulnerable to misunderstandings and confusion. He had woken up a while ago, unable to sleep much longer. He got dressed into a casual white shirt with a plain jacket over it and some work out jeans. He wasn’t physically nor mentally prepared for all of this, but what could he do. He walked down the steps and made his way to the general “door area”, waiting to leave. Since the apartment he stayed in wasn’t all that far away, he would just need to walk for a bit in order to reach his vehicle, not much of a problem. He stayed silent as everyone else came down and Kayleigh gave the explanation.

Without hesitation, Ciande caught on to whatever the gengar was doing and prepared a shadow ball, almost firing it. Kali was a bit surprised by the sudden movement until she felt a tap on her shoulder, looking to see the gengar from before. Piecing together what was happening, she moved away from the gengar and got to her feet, then looked at Froslass desperately. “Stand down Ciande!” She nearly yelled, holding her hand out between the ghost of shadows and ghost of ice. The Froslass, who was angered by the interruption of the intruder, didn’t listen and fired anyways. Kali was forced to step back to avoid getting hit, hoping the gengar would be able to do the same. Before more damage could be dealt, she held out the pokeball and returned her froslass. “Dammit Ciande!” She yelled, unable to see what had happened to their guest just yet.

Kali had made her room pretty out of the way from everyone else’s, pretty much at the end of the row. She didn’t want to involve herself in whatever everyone else was doing, since it seemed unimportant and childish to her. She wasn’t fond of pies or loud crowds, so nothing they did would draw her in. She let out a sigh as she closed her door, a sigh of relief even. She was just happy to have her own thoughts again, away from all the noise. She put her stuff away and set down on her bed, leaning over the hand she had laid on her leg that held froslass’s pokeball. “Ciande... what am I going to do with you...” They both had a rocky start and the road forward didn’t exactly look smooth... Her mother had told her that it took years of hard work and effort to get Froslass to listen to her, and even then she had trouble. She knew that Ciande wouldn’t do well even just outside of her pokeball, and she doubted it would be even worse around other pokemon, especially that gengar... Well, all she could do was try. She stretched her arm out, letting her Froslass free from the pokeball and out into the room. The same angered look was in its face ever since she returned her long ago, one that chilled Kali to the bone. The two sat in silence, only staring at each other to “communicate”.

Kali said nothing in response to Renya’s question. Instead she continued to stand in the same spot in the corner of the room, staring at her and the others. She really only came here for something better to do other than sit around hearing her parents’ stories about their journeys or something like that. There was another reason for her coming here though, but... Anyways, she needed to figure out what she would do with these people... How would she be able to adapt and make a good team mate or whatever she usually did in group efforts like this. After hearing the dismissal, she silently lowered her arms from the crossed position they were in and walked out, eager to get to her room.

Phew... She finally made it to the entrance. She was about to knock before the door swung open and a woman stood at the other side, greeting her and the others. As soon as Kali saw Reyna, her expression turned into a dark scowl. She didn’t care if the other recruits noticed her unpleasant attitude, as it wouldn’t matter anyways. What really mattered was that this woman wasn’t genuine. She could see it clear as day, that smile was just something to give them a warm welcome. She already didn’t like her and had a feeling that being here was going to be rough... She said nothing as she stayed behind the group, following Reyna around the building.

The sound of another familiar Pokémon caught her attention, turning her around to look at the girl with a cheerful Mr. Mime. She’d seen her fair share of Mr. Mime before, so it was easy to tell that it was trying to copy its trainer. It was nice to know that the recruits she would be with were good with Pokémon. A yawn left her mouth as she stretched in the sunlight, taking in the view of the hill. She had gotten up far too early for this... Well, couldn’t be helped. The distance from the hilltop to the HQ made her groan a little. Come on... more traveling? This time she had to get there on her own two feet, which made it even more agonizing. She took a step forward, then another, then another. Soon she was in full sprint, heading straight to the base.

After a while of flying, Kali began to notice that Flygon wasn’t doing so hot. She considered stopping to take a break, but thought about how they might’ve been to their destination. Wait a minute... She looked down at her phone and saw that she was only a few yards away. Her eyes lit up with joy, knowing that their flight had finally come to an end. The looming dark shadow in the sky began to become bigger and bigger, not only that but the shape became more defined as they landed. They had descended at the foot of the hill, away from where everyone was just in case. “We made it... Feelin alright Ryuk?” She had turned her head to face her Flygon, who replied with a slow nod as he heavily breathed. “Alright, I’ll give you a rest...” she smiled and returned her flyer to the pokeball and made her way to the top. She saw 2 people quite a ways away, one with a gengar and one with... was that a ninetails? A moment of admiration shone on her face before returning to a settled stare. She didn’t want to interact with them just yet...

Just another day, just another boring week. There wasn’t much Kali could do these days, everything bored her out of her mind. Well, that’s what she would normally think. Today was different, well at least she hoped so. Today was the day that she was supposed to go somewhere new. The Pokémon Rangers, they called it, were something that had caught her interest, leading her to join it. Today she was traveling with her pokemon to go and meet them. As soon as her day begun, she hopped into the shower then got changed. It was going to be quite a long ride seeing how far it was from her house to town. She told her parents goodbye, but struggled to get away from her over enthusiastic father. She would normally take the car, but today she wanted to have some fun. As soon as she stepped out of the house, she took Flygon’s pokeball off of her belt and sent him out. “Hey Ryuk, wanna do some flying today?” A playful grin appeared on her face as she said that, followed by the happy squeal of her loyal dragon. She put a saddle-like device on Ryuk, then hopped on. She had only done this a few times before, so she still had to make sure she didn’t make a mistake. “Alright buddy, time to go.”

Personality: She’s usually a pretty helpful person, making sure everything is done well and no one is left behind. She does this in her own special way though, as she has a mischievous personality. She’ll use somewhat harsh words to motivate others them, or pull a little trick in order to manipulate them to do better. At other times she’s either serious and cold or messing around with friends.

She received the Pokémon from her parents who were both kind of well known trainers, but had a pretty difficult time training them and growing a bond. She still does, but they listen to her for the most part.
