....That came out wrong. I meant as in three way war.] Callisto froze for a second before regaining her composure. She shakily jotted down the final plant name before replying. "Fire and nature don't go well, though the former comes from the latter as well," she said cryptically. Looking up from her parchment, she made eye contact with the pureblood. To Callisto's shock, she watched as the auburn hair and grey eyes melt away slowly into something...was that magic? She was too stunned to realize what the girl's true appearance looked like. She snapped her eyes shut as she came to the final conclusion, her quill dropping to the floor as the air around them grew uncomfortably warmer. "You're a-" "Time's up! Please give your parchment to be graded!" the professor called, much to the protest of some students. "If you didn't complete it, too bad for you!" Callisto took a step back, careful to not make eye contact with the Ravenclaw. "Saved by the bell," Callie thought as she hurried to turn in her paper. Returning to get her bag, Callisto narrowly avoided the plants who attempted to bite her, sensing her as a walking firebomb. Dodging a particularly annoying vine, she finally made it back to her stuff, slinging her bag over her shoulder. Callisto spotted the Ravenclaw in the crowd, her disguise still intact. "Must be just my enhanced senses who can see through layers of magic," Callisto realized suddenly. Noting that break was soon, Callisto sped away from the rest of the students, taking her previous shortcut to the castle. As she brushed against a tree trunk, the wood blazed for one terrifying moment, but died down, leaving a long scorch mark. Swallowing her nervousness, Callisto hurried to get to the third floor, and preferably, the library. Maybe she could get in a bit of reading time before the next class, and before break when she had to explain things to Clarisse. She wasn't the only one with a secret, it seemed now. [Read more] |

Turning it around...so-called Mudbloods torturing purebloods. Wow, call it alternate universe, because that definitely would be one. I'm all for it :3] Callisto shifted uneasily at the question. "Barely decent," she meekly admitted as she noted down several plant names on a piece of parchment. She moved to the next plant, briefly racking her brains for its name. Once she realized what it was, she nearly tripped trying to get away from it. "Venomous tentacula," she muttered under her breath as she jotted it down. As a potions prodigy, she knew a lot about their uses. However, caring for them had been more of Bella's job. Fire didn't mix well with nature. It was a burning flame that was an outcast from its own. Shaking herself out of her poetic reverie, Callisto bit her lip as she scribbled down another plant name. "What about you?" she inquired the Grey girl, noting the fact that her appearance seemed to slip as she focused on her. [Read more] |

Callisto stealthily navigated her way from the rest of the crowd, taking a less used shortcut to the greenhouses. Herbology was the only subject she got nervous around at. "Well, if one can easily catch fire and destroy every plant..." She mused to herself as she slipped into the greenhouse unseen. The mere sight of people and plants together made her unusually nervous. During last night's feast, her hands had caught fire and nearly burned the whole Gryffindor table to ashes. Thankfully Aguamenti was one of the few Charms she was well-versed in. Callisto looked up when the professor began to explain what they were going to do. Noting that the class, like the others, had a mixture of students from all Houses, Callisto wondered what could have caused the change. She was pretty sure it used to be only two Houses for each class. "Especially not during these times," the words of the Charms professor echoed in her mind. Callisto's eyes narrowed briefly. The change could not be coincidence. [Read more] |

Riona pondered a moment before laughing. Her sister stared at her like she had grown another head. "We're not aliens...and no, we won't probe you," Riona chortled, clutching her stomach. "We aren't aliens, she's right," Ana piped in. "More like...it's difficult to explain the technicalities of interdimensional time-travel." Riona regained her composure, peering suspiciously at her "sister." "How do you even know all this stuff?" Ana, for the first time since meeting, showed signs of nervousness - mainly shifting her feet. "Jirachi has guided me. In exchange for most of my memory...well, Uxie helped with that," she smiled bitterly. "I was given knowledge in exchange. Now I am locked out of my own Binary form, and my personal life is but mere whispers in my head. I was left with enough to remember my family." Riona cocked her head to the side. "You keep mentioning this Binary. I'm not going to lie - it's been lying in my subconscious and I automatically knew what this form was called when I first transformed months ago. But...what does it have to do with anything?" "You will not live to find out, hybrid!" An attack that Riona barely registered as Bug Buzz zipped out of the greenery, hitting Analissa. The Jirachi Binary crumpled to the ground without a sound. Instinctively, Riona beat her wings against the air, pushing back whoever attempted to get near them. Another Bug Buzz whizzed out of the shadows, this time for Riona. Riona countered with a Dragon Pulse, making a small explosion. The explosion forced her to the ground, and when the smoke cleared, Riona realized they were surrounded. A Vespiquen gijinka and a small group of Combee gijinkas circled them with unusual jerky movements. "Y-you think it was safe in the forest? He holds power in all domains!" The Vespiquen stuttered out, her multicolored eyes flashing eerily. Riona remembered what Ana had mentioned earlier. "Did you see any of them close up? If you did, you would have noticed their eyes. Add in the psychotic and unnatural behavior. Wouldn't you think something's up?" Seeing the symptoms firsthand and close up, Riona felt a shiver go down her spine. These gijinkas...they weren't themselves at all. They were under His spell, whoever that was. Riona racked her brains for strategy. Three against twelve. Not good odds, and they had the type advantage. Well, Bellatrix was a Mew Binary...she possibly knew some attacks that were advantageous against the Bug type. But wait...didn't Latias know some Electric attacks? But Riona was pretty sure that was from TMs. Did TMs affect her as well? Here went nothing. Riona focused. For one moment, there was nothing. Then she smelled the smell of ozone. BZZT! Lightning sparked from her fingers, and she focused on a target: a nearby Combee gijinka. They might have been Bug types, but they still were part Flying. The Thunderbolt sparked, its aim true, towards the Combee gijinka. It fell to the ground, perfectly fried. With a howl of anguish, the rest of the Combees headed straight for her. Splaying her fingers, Riona prepared herself for a little more frying. "A little help would be nice!" She yelped as the first Combee's Gust attack nearly hit her. A quick flick of her wrist fried the little bugger - no pun intended. As much power a legendary Pokémon could pass down to their kids, Riona couldn't possibly take on every single crazy gijinka. So far, she had only seen a handful of Binaries. None had been affected by His spell. Analissa's lip curled in disgust for a moment before speaking. "You two, you're Binaries. Hell, it's pretty obvious. And you've unlocked your Binary forms as well..." Ana couldn't help the wistful tone. Her Binary form...well, for the lack of a proper term, had been locked from her. She could only access her gijinka form, which was pretty frustrating. But there were matters at hand. Ana turned to the blue-eyed girl with the delicate looking wings, which she guessed could probably flap up a tornado. "You said my name. And if the fragments of my memory are correct...are you Riona?" A small clearing by a cave dragged by a near-stranger to discuss things with a sister who for the most part, ignored her while they were growing up. Riona had definitely seen everything now. Feeling much bolder than she had ever been, she stared right back at her sister, who also seemed to have suffered memory loss. "Yeah. I'm your sister. The heck did you attack me for? Something about my eyes?" Ana's lips twitched nearly to something like a smirk of amusement, but it quickly faded. "Those gijinkas attacking you. Did you see any of them close up? If you did, you would have noticed their eyes. Add in the psychotic and unnatural behavior. Wouldn't you think something's up?" "Sorry, but I was too busy fending off something that was practically immune to most of my attacks to notice their eye color," Riona said hotly. Who was this fricking Jirachi gijinka of a sister to sass her? Ana stiffened ever so slightly, now glaring full force at the younger sibling. "Anyone under His spell get creepy, multicolored eyes. I'm on a quest to check if Binaries are affected by the spell. So far, nothing." Riona felt as if her lungs had given out. "Who's he? What spell? And what do you mean, Binaries? Plural? There are more?" She rapidly fired questions against her will, forgetting her anger. [Read more] |

"Actually, dunderheads, the word "half-breed" fits me better. And I'm not even a Mud-blood...I've got wizarding blood "purer" than half of the existing so-called pureblood families," Callisto thought darkly. As the crowd began to disperse, Callie snapped out of her anger just enough to hurry and catch up to the professor, who she had narrowed down to be the Charms professor. She vaguely heard one of the Ravenclaws - wasn't she one of the renowned Grey household? - say something to a boy beside her, but Callisto blocked out most of the noises. She had long since discovered that her being agitated...did not end well for the people around her, friend or foe. All her senses, both magical and Muggle, had been enhancing themselves rapidly. Half the time even the soft caress of a breeze through a window would keep her awake, and it honestly frustrated Callisto to the point that angering her was possibly fatal. You hurt your best friend. You can hurt anyone. Callisto shook the voice away. She didn't need anyone to remind her of Dustin, and what she had done to harm him. When she deemed it safe enough, she let some magic seep into her muscles, and suddenly her hand was wrapped tightly against the professor's wrist. "Professor...?" Callie was surprised to find her voice so...calm. The adult witch turned around in surprise, frowning at her. "Callisto, I have been informed of your situation by your father himself. You don't need to repent for any actions," the professor gently said. "No. It's not about me. It's about her," she jerked her head in the direction of Clarisse. "She was defending me. If she hadn't interfered...well, I'm pretty sure the staff has been informed of what I can do." The professor's lips tightened slightly, but she curtly nodded. "Miss LaRue! Callisto has offered to vouch for you. You're free to go. As for you, Mr. Sallows, you are not too lucky. Purposely trying to make the fire burn higher...I expected people of your age to be more mature about blood prejudice. Especially during these times," she added the last thing under her breath, so only Callie could hear. As she steered Sallows away, the professor nodded in acknowledgement at Callie. "Do try to keep out of trouble, Miss Rinestone." Callie felt herself release, to her surprise, a laugh. "Trouble finds me," was her simple reply. Turning to the Slytherin girl, who was very likely confused at the turn of events, Callie felt her smile drop. With a quick glance around, she noted that only she, Clarisse, that Grey girl, and two other boys were in the hallway. "Sorry, I can't explain right now. Too many people. If you want, meet me at the library during break," she mumbled loud enough for the Slytherin to hear, but not for the remaining students. Shaking her now dark hair out of her eyes, she rushed past the rest of the remaining students, pausing only to pick up her fallen book. Callisto momentarily locked eyes with the Grey girl, noting with grim satisfaction that the girl's appearance seemed to flicker beneath her enhanced vision. With a look that clearly said "We both have enough problems as it is, let's leave each other alone", she moved past them. Unfortunately, she brushed against one of the boys, and even more unfortunately, made contact with something ice-cold. "Metal . Belt buckle, maybe?" Callisto thought, biting back a screech of pain. She had grown exceedingly fearful of anything made of pure metal the past few months. And it wasn't because of any normal phobia or anything. Hastily making her way out of that damned place, Callisto felt the small voice in the back of her head laughing. Too weak to handle all this power being given to you, little girl? [Pros of potion accident: Enhanced senses, ability to sense passive magic, and of course, enhanced magic abilities that make her slightly bipolar Cons: Random spontaneous combustion, short temper, loss of sleep due to being unable to adapt to new heightened senses, somewhat bipolar, paranoia (is that the word?), fear of real metal, and contact with aforementioned hurts and could possibly kill her. Doing my best to not make her seem overpowered. Poor Callisto's not really stable...] [Read more] |

At one point, I got bored and decided to list down ALL the money I've gained. Took some time, and this list isn't exactly accurate, but yeah. She had cleared up their station with a lazy flick of her wand, having done it before so many times. To be honest, she had no clue whatsoever what the next class was. Looking for her schedule in her bag would prove too troublesome, she decided, so Callie ventured the next best option - following the rest of the Gryffindors. It was fairly amusing to know that the rest of her classmates were completely oblivious to her straggling behind them stealthily. Flipping open The Dark Arts Outsmarted once more, Callie kept one eye on her book and one eye on her path. She'd done this numerous times before, and she had grown to block out the irritating noises caused by her surroundings. Pleased to find the paragraph she had been hunting earlier at breakfast, Callie proceeded to scan the sentence with renewed vigor. In her haste to figure out the question that had been puzzling her all week, Callisto made one unfortunately wrong step and found herself bumping into one of the Slytherins. "Watch where you're going, filthy Mudblood!" The boy hissed, turning around to face her. If one values his life, aggravating the quiet bookworm was a big DON'T. Showing her your face was also not advised. A satisfying crunch echoed through the hallway as the Slytherin found himself stumbling backwards with a newly broken nose. "Do repeat what you said please," Callisto stated in a menacingly calm tone, her fist clenched tightly by her side. Blood dotted her fist, and her hair had gone into a flaming red, golden sparks dancing among the strands. Her eyes were a frightening molten gold that seemed to pierce harsher than any spear. The Slytherin let out a whimper and scrambled to his feet, stumbling through the rest of the crowd in absolute terror. [And there goes my flair for dramatics.] [Read more] |

Username: Omnia Character Name: Supposedly "Analissa Simone Miracle" Age: Unknown, supposedly older than Riona Gender: Female Appearance: As human: Before she gained her powers, Analissa was a brunette with dazzling amethyst eyes. After gaining her powers, Analissa's hair became brownish-blonde and her amethyst eyes lightened to an ocean blue color. As semi-transformed/gijinka: Ignore the cutesy face. Besides that, she looks pretty much like that. The three stars at top revolve around her, sort of like an anti-gravity field, enabling her to fly. They can also be used to shoot attacks. As Binary: Unknown (for now.) For some reason, she is unable to shift into Binary form despite unlocking her powers. This proves to be a huge disadvantage as it is a Binary's most powerful form. Legendary Parent: Jirachi Password: Don't need it. What is rule #7?: Don't need it. [Important note: There can be many children of one legend. Like up to a max of five. Not too many.] [Read more] |

"Yeah, you're right. That's the first time I did that too," Riona breathed hard, making sure to fly out of reach of the little Poochyena gijinkas. With a burst of energy, Riona made her way away from the building, her eyes lowering down to heat vision for the first time. Blinking in shock, Riona halted mid-air. "What the-" She murmured, her eyes seeing through solid objects, locking on heat signatures. "Okay. That's cool." "One of the many abilities of Latias," she heard a voice in the back of her head. "Okay..." Riona trailed off, a little stunned at her newfound ability. She was too distracted to notice that someone was sneaking up on her and before she knew it, something had slammed into her. "You! Show me your eyes!" "What the hell?" Riona muttered, whirling around just in time to get hit with a powerful blast of Psyshock. Riona barely managed to counter with a [b]Psyshock[/i] of her own, and even then she was a bit exhausted. Once the smoke cleared, a girl who somewhat reminded her of a Jirachi glared at her, attempting to look in her eyes. Riona's eyes widened in disbelief. "Analissa?" [Okay. She's a potions prodigy with an unusual knack for subjects that involve spellwork. Approximately, her level of Potions is of a 7th year in Hogwarts. Emphasis on approximately. This is due to the fact she's been messing around with potionmaking since she was three years old. Her dad also owns a chain of apothecaries in the Middle-East, encouraging this. Spent most of her childhood in the tropics, surprisingly didn't develop an accent. Her second best subject would be DADA. The fact that there weren't many famous female duelers/duelists is a sore spot for her, so she started practicing spells she randomly picked up from her dad's old DADA spellbook when she was around five years old. She's at least two years ahead of the normal first year, and has a well spread out knowledge of jinxes, hexes, and a few curses already. She can't perfectly cast every single one of them (that would be overpowering), but she can do enough damage to incapacitate one full grown wizard. Third subject: Transfiguration. Her family has always had a natural aptitude for the subject, so only logical that Callie was at least decent at it. Her dad also is the Transfiguration professor at Hogwarts, so that also influences her to work on it. At least a year ahead in this subject. Callie is simply decent at the rest of the subjects, except for Herbology. She struggles with this subject, and often has to seek help from her younger nature-loving cousin, Bella, who is not yet at Hogwarts. History of Magic she is fine with, though sometimes the number of notes one has to take can be stressful. No matter how boring the subject is, Callie's always been interested in the wizarding world's history due to the fact she was mostly raised in the Muggle world. Charms and Astronomy, she struggles and survives just fine. Callie's not really good at approaching people, preferring to keep to herself and her studies. She's a book freak, so sometimes people mistake her for a Ravenclaw since she carries at least four with her everywhere. When engaged in conversation, she can be talkative and defiant, and definitely sarcastic. I think I went overboard with that...LOL. Anyway~] Callie glanced around the room warily. It was almost completely obscured from her vision from all the steam coming from the cauldrons. Others had already finished with their potion, and Professor Lacroma rather generously kept giving out points. Callie shrugged this off - there would be more chances to gain points in the future. Much to her surprise, there was the sound of a cauldron exploding somewhere near the back of the room. "Feet up!" Professor Lacroma barked, and with a swirl of robes, he rushed to the back. Callie was way ahead of him. The Cure For Boils potion was a painful one to mess up. She had learned that when she was a mere baby, playing around with weird looking and oddly scented ingredients. Her knees up against her chest, Callie cautiously watched (though that damn steam fogged up her vision) as the professor managed to drag two students out of the way before they stupidly got touched by the orange colored potion. A few angry words were said, and luckily, Lacroma managed to vanish the contents before they spread any further. A timid looking boy and a red-faced girl were reprimanded so harshly by the professor, Callie almost flinched. "Congratulate yourselves for losing your House hard earned House Points!" the professor raged. "Ten points from Ravenclaw! Each!" When the students opened their mouths to protest, the professor shot them a death glare (though it possibly could be a grimace, Callie couldn't tell through the steam) and cut them off. "Instead of daydreaming, both of you should have checked the instructions! Not only did you forget to take the cauldron off the fire, you added how many porcupine quills? Thirty! You added thirty porcupine quills!" Callie was feeling really, really bad now for those two. She barely helped not flinching when the outraged professor passed by. When she deemed it safe, she carefully set her feet back on the floor silently. "Well, someone has a temper," she mumbled to Clarisse beside her. Without another glance, she scooped out a crystal vial from her pocket and ladled some of the cauldron's contents into it. Before the professor could see, she pocketed the potion. She would compare it to some of her old potions later, and one could never know when one needed an extra potion. [edit: oh yeah, about Flying. She's a bit of a natural in it, which is pretty weird since she's a study freak. Flying gives her the feeling of being free from anything that is weighing her down, so she loves it. It's more of a hobby that a sport to her, but she might consider joining the Quidditch team during tryouts.] [Read more] |

Blowing her now red and gold hair out of her face, she took a pinch of the dust and threw it into the cauldron, summoning up some nice steamy effects. "To counter-react the tendency of the potion burning off your skin," She explained. Noticing her partner was looking through a potions book, Callie shook her head inwardly. "Those new potion books are sometimes bad news. Most of the time they give wrong instructions and make the hardest potions explode in your face," she added dully, tugging at a strand of red hair, hoping it would revert back to normal. The snake fangs in no time at all were crushed into a fine powder. Callie felt her body take over, sort of going auto-pilot. She was in her domain, with the soft almost overpowering fumes and the gentle hissing of potions as they were stirred. In this place, she was in control. Nothing and nobody else existed as Callie worked on her parts of the potion. Four precise measures of the fine powder were quickly added to the water in the cauldron. When her partner accidentally double-sliced a berry, Callie quickly took extra measures by adding a few countering ingredients not included in the instructions. She instinctively took out her wand, prodding a fire to existence under her cauldron. She had what one would call a "sixth sense" for judging temperatures, and the contents of the cauldron were bubbling in no time at all. Callisto sped through the rest of the instructions, not even bothering to re-check them, completely sure of herself. She was, however, extra careful to take the cauldron off the fire before tossing in the porcupine quills. She learned that the hard way. Finally finished with her part of the work, Callie found Professor Lacroma peering at their cauldron with an approving look on his face. "Good work, girls," He commented. "Five points for Slytherin and Gryffindor." So her partner was a Slytherin, eh? Callie waited until her partner was finished working before she spoke. "You didn't seem to be the type to be in Slytherin," she whispered bluntly. The blonde didn't send her any rude remarks when they first sat, so Callie figured she wasn't one of those blood supremacists who needed a reality check. Who knew? She might actually make a friend out of a Slytherin, who weren't exactly the most trustworthy since the second Wizarding War. "My name's Callisto. Half-blood," she introduced quietly, waiting for a reaction. [Read more] |

Glaring at the offender, Riona formed back into one body, silently preparing an attack, just in case. "What was that for?" The offender was a crazed-looking Mightyena gijinka, whose eyes did not seem...completely sane. With a loud bark of laughter, the gijinka leaped with incredible agility from the nearest rooftop, right in front of Riona. "Master orders. Lycaon obeys," the Mightyena cackled, preparing yet another Shadow Ball. Riona beat him to it. Turquoise energy blasted the gijinka right off the rooftop, right out of Riona's hands. Howls of pain filled the air, and Riona smiled with grim satisfaction that her Dragon Pulse had worked. She grabbed Bellatrix's hand, and yanked her up as the painful howls turned into cries for help. "Come on. If you can transform back, that would be nice. If not, well, I can just carry you." Sending another blast of Dragon Pulse behind her, Riona rose to the air, waiting calmly for Bellatrix's reply. [I think I've got something to tweak int the storyline.
