"Sure... how about we all go for an hour?" He suggested.

"I can pay for us," Fortem suggested. "Dance lessons sound like a good idea to me... I want to have at least some idea of what I'm doing," He laughed.

Fortem and Audax nodded shyly. Both felt like a magikarp out of water when it came to dancing... But they supposed Emerald was right. "Where are the main events talking place?" Audax asked.

"It should be starting pretty soon, right?" Fortem inquired. He felt jittery about the event: nervous, but excited too.

Fortem felt a little out of place amidst all of the flamboyant, tropical costumes. Peering at the pokemon walking around the resort, he noticed floral dresses and headpieces, glimmering costumes, and all sort of other island-y things pokemon had to wear.

Fortem laughed at the nuzzling, putting a paw over Emeral'd shoulder. He finished his drink with a satisfied "ahhhh".

Night was falling... maybe they could find somewhere to rest. If they didn't they would be even more tired in the morning, meaning they could get disoriented and lost far more easily... Finding a small clearning in the maze, Kieran tried barking and circling around the area to make his suggestion known. If he could speak to the others, he'd have suggested setting up a guard post every hour or two, but there was only so much to communicate as a canine.

The labyrinth disoriented Kieran at first, but after stumbling around for a bit, he quickly regained his footing. He made sure to focus on the starry sky above, which seemed to help. Kieran was careful to stick with the humans for safety, and hope none of them would wonder why a strange raccoon creature was following them. Come to think about it... when - if Kieran survived until next sundown, he would be fine with explaining to the others about himself being a monster; despite the awkwardness, Kieran thought it would help. Awkwardness wasn't something he could really afford to think of now.

The leafy maze reminded Kieran of the bushes he'd trimmed just yesterday, and he shivered. That was only a day ago! How did he get from there to here so quickly? After dodging the feet of some of the startled humans, he scanned the maze with his eyes, ears and nose to see what he might discover, or what might discover him.

"Okay, okay!" Kieran growled quietly, stumbling toward the entrance of the maze as one of the many zombies shove him forward. Of all things that could happen to him on the full moon... It was beginning to get dark, but, fortunately, Kieran could see somewhat well in the dark. The maze still looked intimidating... through the zombie general had said that the maze repelled creatures of darkness? Those were general-ly (pardon the pun) bad... maybe it would be fine? That was just wishful thinking though He decided to hope for the best, prepare for the worst, as many liked to say.

Kieran wished he knew more about this labyrinth and this elemental... Maybe he could have formulated some plan. However, he only had his wits and sharp senses to rely on. Slowly, he nodded, not intending to follow the orders if he could help it. He glanced around at the humans to see their reactions.

Kieran kept his snout shut, but glared at the zombies. He was curious to see if the humans would say anything. Most of them were probably too shocked to even speak though, he reckoned that most of them had never seen a zombie till now, let alone known of their existence.

Hmm... maybe someone else had built it then. Feeling grouchy and curious enough to ask, Kieran voiced his thoughts: "Why can't you send some of you zombie henchmen to do it for you, huh? Are you zombies too proud to get your hands dirty?" He snapped.

"Wow, admitting that you're evil, huh," Kieran replied snarkily. It would sound like barks and growls to everyone else, but that was why he was confident enough to say it. Kieran focused on using all of his senses to observe the giant labrynth. Who would have the time to build this? The zombies, apparently...

Eventually, Kieran decided to stop struggling. He needed to save his energy for... well, for whatever might happen next. He had no clue. Still, Kieran would keep searching for an opportunity to escape. He searched the crowd of zombies for the humans he'd met... but the stream of monsters was so full that he couldn't see anyone. The uncomfortable position he was being trapped in didn't help either...

Kieran was wrong. Of course things could get worse. He glared at the snake, still struggling in the meantime. Unfortunately, his little paws were too weak.

Kieran's fur bristled in annoyance. Of course, the snake had to be here too. And either it already knew about said plan, or it was agreeing to it without knowing anything about it, based solely on the fact that it thought it would get to eat people... He growled again. He didn't expect to be spending his day like this. Kieran scolded himself at his choice to follow Melody. Then again... maybe he'd be of use to the good humans later... so that was something to be here for.

Kieran mentally facepalmed at Charlie... he knew she was bold enough to attack a giant serpent, but still, there was a thin line between bravery and... well, you know the phrase. Attracting more attention would only lead to more problems... he swiped his paws, attempting once again to push himself away from the zombies to help, but couldn't. He let out a frustrated, growl. His ears perked up as her heard the work "labrynth". He couldn't be sure of what exactly the zombie ringleader was talking about, but based on what he knew of monsters, mythology, and the world, labrynths were rarely good.

Part of him hoped that the zombies wouldn't be after a "raccoon dog", but maybe they could sense he wasn't really one? He tried to squirm out as one of the zombies grabbed him with surprising agility. However, his escape attempts were to no avail. He was brought in before the figure... ack, he reminded Kieran of stereotypical mastermind villains. Was he a necromancer of some sort...? Kieran wasn't sure. He was more focused on wiggling out of the firm grasp of the zombie clutching him.
