I was going to do it with one of my real life friends, but she said that she wanted to back out because she wants to do writing commissions instead, so I'm stuck trying to do 20k for my fanfiction instead to replace it (though the progress for that project is going really well).

@enderknux: I love your poem; it's simple, sweet and kindles a nice warm feeling of playfulness, really embodying the spirit of autumn in the first few stanzas.

Hmm, this sounds like quite a good idea - I'll volunteer for doing the Malay version of the Rules, since I'm proficient in it.

Oh, and maybe we can have 2 or more people do the translation of one specific language, having 2 as the minimum - have 1 person do the actual translation and another person be the proofreader.

... So I've just returned from my month of hiatus and there has been no activity in all of this time... Has everyone lost interest in Percy Jackson already?

In other news, does anyone have any PJO fics they'd recommend? I'd like some good fics with good grammar and punctuation and a good plot line.

"This is the last time I ride a train," Eria grumbled. She had booked a ticket to Seven, but the train had been attacked by a group of bandits, which she had managed to defeat alone. However, the damage dealt by the battle to the train had managed to earn her the 'honour' of being left in the dust, literally as the train sped off.

Her stormy-grey eyes gazed around her. Right now, it looked like she had the privilege of being near a cliffside as the end of her aimless wandering about.

"When I get back to town, I'll go and wrangle the train station staff," she muttered, crossing her arms as she did so.

Walking further, she raised her eyebrow as she sensed magic energy in the air. 'Blood magic,' she thought with a snarl. She was ready to go and maul the mage, but she restrained herself.

'I don't know if this is the guy who killed my parents,' she chanted mentally. 'If this isn't the guy, then it'll be my entire fault. Just calm down and see what's actually going on first.'

Creeping up towards the source, she hid herself behind a tree as she felt the magic pouring off the mage in waves. "Control yourself, Eria," she mouthed, before daring a peek around the tree.

What she saw shocked her. A mage was holding a blue-haired girl hostage with a blood-like rope, and the girl looked like she was struggling to breathe. The other two bluenettes, she supposed they were her siblings, looked on in shock at the other mage who had a serious look on his face as he held the rope.

"Are you ready to lose a buddy yet or would you rather grow up a little bit before going through that?" Eria heard.

A familiar spark ran through her body and Eria knew her magic had taken its toll on her again. "Actually, I'm sure he'd rather grow up a little bit before that," she said coolly, stepping around the tree. She met his eyes evenly as she crossed her arms, magic starting to pool in her fingertips. "No one deserves to live through that pain."

Sorry for the semi-late reply...

It's actually quite good, so far - I'm half-way through - but Achilles isn't featured in there, which is a tad disappointing I was waiting for a snarky comment about his weak point.

Anyway, it's a bit boring, but Percy's commentary helps alleviate the boredom.

(Sorry for the double post...)

Wow, just wow. I really didn't expect Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes to be so...

I really didn't expect this... and I still haven't finished half of the book yet...

What about you guys? What's your opinion on the book?

"Storm Slicer!" Eria cried, sweeping her hand in a harsh, slashing motion towards the mage.

"Do you really think you can beat me with that, little girl?" the man taunted, before extending his hand. "Orange Fire!"

Eria leapt to the side, letting the fire crash into the forest. "Heaven's Fury: Six Bolt Strike!"

A yellow, sparking magic circle made its appearance in front of Eria, and a lightning bolt flew out, which the man easily dodged. "It looks like the little girl needs counting lessons too," he mocked. "That was one lightning bolt, you're short five!"

Something flashed in Eria's eyes, and her mouth curved upwards. "Do you really think so?" she laughed, before her eyes gained a sinister glow to them. "Count again," she intoned dangerously.

"What?" the man asked, only to scream in pain as five magic circles surrounded him from all angles, five more bolts flying out and striking him with a million volts of electricity.

Eria's eyes flashed again, and she immediately knelt down besides the man. "Oh, no! I didn't hurt you too much, did I?"

"What the f***, you crazy woman! You tried to kill me and now you're apologizing?" the man yelled, only to wince in pain as the after effects of the electricity hit him.

Eria narrowed her eyes as they flashed again. "You're right," she said, before snatching the coat off his back, retrieving the book inside. "I'll take the book now and send the Rune Knights after you when I get back to town. Have a nice day, now!"

"Don't you think you were a bit harsh on him, Miss Stera?" the Rune Knight asked.

"He was the one that stole a valuable grimoire which has been passed down for generations," Eria replied coolly. "I believe he fully deserves the shock, pardon the pun, I granted him."

The Rune Knight could only sigh as he turned away and forced the man into the hands of the nearest teleportation mage, who immediately returned them to their headquarters.

Eria sighed as she watched them go, grabbing her boots and slipping them onto her feet. "To Seven I go," she joked under her breath with a flash of her eyes.

Username: Eeveelution8
Character Name: Eria Stera
Gender: Female
Magic: Storm Magic - in a caster type form, Eria can use this magic to control winds, thunder and lightning to her will, as well as summon creatures termed venti or storm spirits, which require a lot of energy to summon, which is why she rarely summons them in battle. As of now, she only has made a bond with two - Sirius, the Ventus Dog and Athena, the Ventus Owl.
Age: 16
Alignment: Light, with no desire to join a guild at the present moment.
Appearance: Eria has honey-blonde hair and grey eyes, which darken with the use of her magic. She never wears jewellery due to her magic whipping matter around with next to no effort, which is why she wears a blue tank top with a knee-length skirt, both covered by a black overcoat, which is kept buttoned. One of Eria's weirdest quirks is that she rarely wears boots; not because she can't afford them, but because she conducts the electricity directly from the ground to boost her lightning attacks.
Personality: Eria has a very sporadic personality thanks to her magic - the unpredictability of storms changing her behaviour for no reason at any time, which is why she doesn't get along very well with others who can't stand her behavioural changes. She is also very knowledgeable, but rarely shares any information that she has until the situation calls for it. Also, she is very closed off - consider it an achievement if she talks to you about her personal history, even the tiniest sliver.
History/Bio: When Eria was 5, her parents were killed by a mage from a dark guild, leaving her an orphan. She ran away from her home soon after and trained under the art of Storm Magic with another mage named Eli. 7 years later, she explored Desierto and contemplated joining the Sand Leaf guild, but ultimately rejected the idea and continued travelling around Ishgar alone, sustaining herself with a few odd jobs that required a mage.

Head Counselor Application Forms

Preliminary Stage

Are you interested in helping others? Are you willing to spend your time helping this fanclub? If so, then this job is for you.

Hi, I’m Eve, and I’m currently looking for more head counselors for this fanclub.

Head counselors are the leaders of their cabins – they have authority over their own members and (some) command over the other cabins too. They have the ability to reject forms for the fanclub and accept members.

This can be a tiring job, with the only reward being the custom-made banners they are given. Do you think you’re still up for the job?

If you still are, great! Fill in the form below and PM it to me. I will judge each of your responses and decide who gets to make it to the following stages.

Username:
Activity on the site: {How many hours do you generally spend here, and what do you normally do}
Reason for becoming a head counselor:
Previous experience:
How well do you know me: {I would prefer hearing a few paragraphs about my characteristics, habits and such, but if you’re a person of few words, then feel free to limit yourself to a paragraph.}

Please remove the information in brackets before messaging the form to me.
