My frown grew wider and I grabbed my dads hand, "Father, as much as I respect you but I have to stop you...no matter what misfortune they caused, they were still members of our clan and my blood...If you won't organize a proper burial, then I shall do it myself." I jumped off dragonite and lingered to where my late father and brother were. A dragon is respectful and does not let pride come in it's way to help another. I was hoisted up by a dragonite and carried like a child. This was fairly embarrassing but I felt comfortable. It wasn't my place to complain about a favor somebody is doing for me. Looking up to my dad, I sighed and whispered the dragonite to catch up to him. Upon reaching there, I frowned and shook my head, "Dad...aren't you forgetting Rambo and Argonauts remains?" I nodded and looked over to the army, "Very well..." With a powerful clap, I created a huge sound wave that caught the dragons attention. They eyed me seriously and whispered something to another that I could not comprehend. Clearing my throat, I got ready to yell out, "Dragons! Tell me, who is YOUR LEADER?!" As soon these words escaped my mouth, the dragons roared and praised Maver. The salamance who was questioning me from before came up front and bowed before my son. He kept his head low and spoke in a gruff voice, "I hereby pledge allegiance to Maver, the leader of the Dragon type clan!" He raised his head and smiled, "We all elect you Maver, son of jirachi, you to be our rightful leader." [Read more] |

My son was completely clueless at the moment. I laughed and patted his shoulder after flying near him, "Can't you see that they are cheering for you? How Lucifer is looking at you with eyes full of pride..." I looked at the army and grinned, "How it seems that they finally found their true leader? Do you not see any of that, my son?" [Read more] |

I used protect just before he would do that. For some reason, I predicted that this would happen. I slided back a little due to the hyper beams immense strength and laughed as I came to a halt, "My people, is this barbarous pokemon truly the one who you want to be led by? Instead of dealing this matter maturely, he chooses to fight...pathetic!" I smirked and turned to Lucifer, "And you my brother....ARE EVEN MORE PATHETIC!" My smirk grew wider and I chuckled, "How do YOU know of MY motives? I am the heir, the one who will the clan to great levels! I will help my clan to reach even greater heights than my father!" I pumped my fist into the air and roared. With Jirachi My smile turned into a frown as Argonaut gave his speech. The army seemed to be confused and torn between choosing Argonaut and Maver. With Lucifer I coughed out some blood and got up, refusing to degrade myself any longer. My legs felt like jelly yet I still stood proud. I roared loudly which caused some of the blood to come out but atleast it was louder and it caught my clans attention, "DRAGONS! Argonaut is a double-faced pokemon! He is no different than a corrupt politician!" I coughed again and bent down to rest, "My brother has always betrayed me, and he will do the same to you!" [Read more] |

With Jirachi I chuckled as the dragons roared in approval. It seems that they accept Maver as their leader. Just before I could congratulate my son, I heard a familiar voice stopping me. Turning around, I almost choked as Argonaut's blood stained face came into view... With Argonaut I snarled and growled under my breath, no body had the right to over-throw me! Growling again, I questioned, "Who do you think you are?!" With Lucifer I was taking steady breaths. My lungs seemed to be cooperating with me at the moment. I turned over to see my father -my genetic father on the floor- lifeless while Maver standing proudly. The army was there and so was Jirachi, the real surprising thing to see was Argonaut. I grunted and tried to get up but I was unable to. Mustering up the little ounce of strength left in me, I managed to squeak out, "Don't...h-he will...Kill y-you!" [Read more] |

My smile widened and I nodded as Maver continued to speak. He made me proud. As soon as he stopped speaking, I smiled and yelled out, "Besides, Argonaut has no authority nor can he be king unless all of agree to let him be!" My eyes were full of joy and my heart felt fluffy. I felt so proud of my son, he was truly a wonderful pokemon. Looking at the army, I grinned and shook my head, "I guess the clan leader is Argonaut...no?" A chorus of gasps and boos were to be heard from the giant crowd of dragons. A frown replaced my grin and I put my hand on my hips, "Why so serious?" The army shuffled a little before one of the dragons replied, "Down with that bloody son of his!" I felt a pang of pain as Maver attacked me. I felt...regret. Regret for not living up to my clans expectations. I just hope that my son suffers the same fate as I did. "You will...not..." I fell to the ground, panting heavily, "Get away...with this." With Jirachi I covered my eyes with my hands and gasped. A whole chorus of 'hoorah' and 'great job' came from the army behind me.
