Another random wave rose from the depths, heading straight for them. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say we were in the middle of the ocean!" Riona yelled, firing another Dragon Pulse. From the hole made by her attack, three figures slipped through, heading for them as well. Meaning they had a wave and three Void gijinkas after them. "Oh, hell, those are prisms of death," Riona shuddered as she made eye contact with the spellbound Butterfree gijinkas. She attempted to fire another Dragon Pulse, but to no avail. "Crap! Ran out of power!" She cursed vehemently under her breath. [Read more] |

"My sister called them Void gijinkas. Apparently they're under some kind of spell," she added to the conversation grimly. "Their eyes are freaky. They look like...ugh, I can't even describe how terrifying they are to look at." [Read more] |

"Crap! That must have taken a lot out of her," Riona fretted fearfully. "It doesn't help that she's not in Binary form...Ugh, I don't know what to do!" Her wings flapped harder and faster, whipping up some rather powerful winds and making trees sway. Suddenly, there was a flash of bright light. "I'll take care of her. Help the others," a sleepy voice echoed through the entire forest. When it faded, Analissa was nowhere to be seen. Riona gritted her teeth. She was getting really tired of all these mysterious voices. "I think they'll need help," she finally muttered, despite her mind's protests. With a great flap of her enormous wings, Riona headed towards the other group, splitting the water below her with her speed. [Read more] |

Her sister whipped around, forcing the wave to freeze with a look. The sisters gawked at what Riona had done. "That...is uber cool," Ana finally said, awed. "Bejeezus!" Riona yelled as another wave threatened to smash them to bits. This time Riona couldn't freeze it using Psychic, and the sisters barely managed to fly out of its radius. Analissa forced away another wave with Psyshock. "What is causing all these?!" Riona slapped away another wave with a powerful Dragon Pulse. "I am clueless! We better get out of here, because I'm not sure how long I can do these attacks!" [RP block, ugh. Anyone can feel free to spot the sisters x.x] [Read more] |

They were in the outskirts of Slateport City, resting after such a long, hard battle. Ari had decided to have a picnic, letting out all her Pokemon for some time. Illuminea sat quietly in a shade of a nearby tree, while Solaria happily frolicked with Laticia. Merit and Phyrus seemed to be having a serious discussion, while Kamikaze preferred to sit nearby their trainer. "I do wonder when that order will come through," Ari mumbled to herself just as her PokeNav rang. "Speak of the devil," She muttered darkly before answering. "Hello?" "Is this Miss Heron speaking?" A female voice asked. "Yes, that's me." "Your ordered Charizardite and Swampertite have arrived," the caller explained and began to give her instructions to get to a laboratory. "South of Fortree? Got you," Ari hung up. "Alright guys! Back into your balls!" Ari shouted at her Pokemon, who obediently returned, leaving only Kamikaze. "Alright, bud," Ari softly said, climbing onto Kam's back. "South of Fortree, let's go!" After a bit of flying, they finally spotted their destination - a laboratory in the midst of the wilderness. "Wonder why they built it so far away from civilization," Ari pondered out loud as Kamikaze returned to his Pokeball. The silence was eerie, so Ari hurried to the door of the lab. Hesitantly pushing a button nearby, Ari spoke into the mini-mic. "Um, hello? I'm here to get my Mega Stones?" [Read more] |

But. I am still extremely close to my parents. They trust me to actually surf the internet and such to improve things, mostly my vocabulary. I've never had "friends" outside, due to the fact I've been homeschooled all my life. I've always been an unhealthy kid, so no surprises there. When I think of things involving games, those are really, really rare. Most of the time I think of the stories on the net I'm reading, or spinning storylines for RPs I participate in. The only thing that pops into my mind daily while away from the computer would be my rumblers timing and return, lol. Even then, I don't focus too much on that. I still think a lot about my dreams and worry about my studies (which are temporarily postponed, thus granting me a lot of free time.) Despite my internet "addiction", I am a book freak. I LOVE books, and there isn't a day I grow restless on the internet when I have no new books to read. Which is why I have to resort to reading fanfictions. I don't usually obsess over games. These little obsessions quickly pass, and I return to my regular past times of RPing and reading. As for exercise and healthy eating and sleep, well: I don't have time for exercise. My parents are full-time teachers with part-time teaching jobs on Saturdays. My only exercises are me being hyper and running 'round the house for whatever reason and running with my dad and the dog during nightly walks. Sleep? Sleep doesn't come to me as normally as others. Even before we even had internet installed, I had problems with sleeping. Not insomnia, just...couldn't sleep. I thought too much, worried too much. I can only get to sleep when a( sleep deprived, b( extremely tired, c( after two-six hours of lying on the bed trying to fall asleep. The best I can do is tire myself out earlier in the day so I'l have an easier time sleeping. Sometimes I just deprive myself of sleep to enjoy the comfort of automatically passing out from exhaustion. (Sleep is the sweetest thing on earth to any tired man.) Healthy eating? Hmm...I'll have to get back to you on that :P Overall, this post might help other who are actually addicted, though ^^ As long as I have a pile of books, I can live without the internet for some time. "Kamikaze, make 'em burn!" Fourteen-year-old Arietty Heron called, tossing the Pokeball expertly, as she had done so many times before. Her opponent, a brunette boy a year or two older, stared in disbelief. "Are you mad?" He called over the battlefield incredulously. So far, they were tied. It was a 5vs5 battle, and both had only one Pokemon left. Meritorious and Illuminea had taken down two apiece before falling, then her opponent had turned the tables around with Blastoise taking out Laticia and Solaria. So now it was his Blastoise against Kamikaze. Ari kept herself focused on the battle. "Don't count your chickens before they hatch," she replied cryptically. "Kam, use Flamethrower!" "Fend that off with Hydro Pump again, Blastoise!" Fire and water met, attempting to force each other down. It remained the same for the next ten minutes, both trainers shouting out encouragement. Both Pokemon refused to back down. Ari watched Blastoise very closely, waiting for the slightest sign of tiredness. The Water type slightly shivered. "NOW, KAM! GIVE IT ALL YOU'VE GOT!" Ari yelled. For a moment, there was no change. Then the Flamethrower began to push back the Hydro Pump. Both attacks were causing massive steam, clouding the battlefield and obscuring all vision. Then there was a fierce explosion. "Now! SEISMIC TOSS!" Ari's voice sounded out from the mist, as her opponent's eyes grew wide in horror. It happened too fast, and the battle was over. Ari had won, with her Charizard standing over the fainted Blastoise. Kamikaze was recalled in the middle of a victorious roar. "Ugh, now I know why you got into the Ever Grande Conference Finals," her opponent mumbled before stalking off. Ari took note of his retreating figure before heading for the nearest Pokemon Center. [By the way, which region are we in?] [Read more] |

Name: Arietty Heron Age: 14 Gender: Female Appearance: A dark-haired girl with striking blue eyes with golden flecks. Usually her hair is tucked into a ponytail, even then it reaches the middle of her back. She usually dons a pair of cut-off jeans, a black long-sleeved flowy blouse with a sleeveless denim vest on top, and a worn pair of sneakers. She occasionally forgoes her sneakers for shining silver combat boots. She's of average height and has a thin frame. Pokemon Team: A Mega-Able Shiny Hardy Swampert (Meritorious), a sweetly Naive Togekiss (Laticia), a Mega-Able Rash Charizard (Kamikaze), an Adamant Espeon (Illuminea), a Serious Beautifly (Phyrus), and a Hasty Sylveon (Solaria). Smart or Brave?: Though she was pushed to be more smart, Ari's bravery stood out. Crush?: None, at least for now. History: Meritorious was her starter received from Professor Birch in the Hoenn Region. Having been born and raised in Slateport City, Arietty had a bond with Water Pokemon. She met Phyrus back when he was still a Wurmple while on her way to Rustboro City, and she formed a rocky relationship with the mule-headed Pokemon. Solaria and Illuminea she found as Eevees in Mauville, hiding in the Game Corner. Laticia she befriended on her way to Fortree City, as the poor Togekiss had gotten badly hurt traveling during the storm the previous day. Last of all, Ari hatched Kamikaze from an egg given to her by her grandparents in Mossdeep. Ari had a pretty mysterious childhood before her journey. Pushed to be smart, but forced to be brave because of her past that not even her Pokemon know. Team Profiles ![]() Level: 68
Nature: Hardy Obtained: Starter History with Arietty: Meritorious and Ari quickly grew to be close friends. In the middle of her gym battle with Roxanne, Merit evolved into a Marshtomp, setting her victory in place. Merit and Phyrus quickly bonded when they first met, Phyrus having envied Water Pokemon for their ability to resist fire. Merit is Ari's strongest and most trustworthy Pokemon, and gets along with the rest of her team. Phyrus Level: 57 Nature: Serious Obtained: Petalburg Woods History with Arietty: Phyrus has a long standing rivalry with any Fire type, being a Bug. When he was a Wurmple, he was seriously injured by a Charizard's Flamethrower. He quickly trusted Ari after he realized she had no Fire types, and became her second Pokemon. He holds Merit with great respect, as he is a Water type. Phyrus evolved into Silcoon in a middle of a battle with a Bug Catcher, and later on evolved into a Beautifly during Ari's gym battle with Flannery along with Merit, who evolved into a Swampert. Despite being a Bug/Flying type, Phyrus can easily withstand powerful Fire or Electric attacks, having forced Ari to train him in both Watson and Flannery's gym. Phyrus does not trust Kamikaze, though the Fire Lizard gained his grudging trust after saving Ari from a horde of angry Pelipper.[ Solaria Level: 53 Nature: Hasty Obtained: Mauville History with Arietty: Solaria was found with Illuminea by Ari in the Game Corner at Mauville. Ari immediately adopted the sister Eevees, who eventually would evolve. Solaria evolved into a Sylveon in the middle of Ari's battle with Norman. The team finds Sylveon both annoying and sweet, and they are forced to love the kind Fairy type. Illuminea Level: 53 Nature: Adamant Obtained: Mauville History with Arietty: Found with her sister in Mauville's Game Corner, Illuminea was the younger yet more responsible of the two. She evolved first before her sister when she found a Sun Stone and touched it just before Ari's battle with Brawly. Strong and resilient, Illuminea has the respect and friendship of the whole team. Laticia Level: 51 Nature: Naive Obtained: Route 120 History with Arietty: Laticia was found by Ari, seriously injured from traveling in a harsh storm. She was nursed back to health with medicine, food, and encouragement. Laticia decided to join Ari in her journey instead of heading back to her home in Kalos. She is motherly towards the entire team, even rude Kamikaze, and the team cannot help but feel loved in her presence. Kamikaze Level: 57 Nature: Rash Obtained: Egg from Mossdeep History with Arietty: At first, the rude Fire Lizard did not get along with his trainer, but Ari struggled to gain his trust and respect. He has an extremely rocky relationship with the rest of the team, but they all knew deep inside, Kamikaze truly cared about them. Phyrus and he used to have a strong rivalry, but eventually they realized that they ought to get along for Ari's sake. Other: Someone mind giving me a recap? xD [Read more] |

Analissa probably saved them all from drowning. The blazing heat and thunderous rain had scorched and drenched her so suddenly that she was waken from her fatigue induced slumber. She had been traveling for days prior, seeking out known Binaries and fending off hordes of spellbound gijinkas who made near successful attempts on her life. As the Jirachi Binary, she had become an extremely deep sleeper. Sometimes it took her days to wake up on her own, and only extreme effort could wake her...especially if she had been attacked right before. A fainted Analissa took even longer or more effort to wake up. Analissa had never been the smartest in her family. Riona was that person. That was some of the few memories Uxie was merciful enough to leave her. But her long journey with nothing but a voice in her head as a guide had toughened her up, also forcing her to use her brain in life-death situations. She'd wised up, learning to use all her resources and make them last. As soon as she woke up, she immediately sent out her senses, quickly narrowing down the source of this sudden and powerful storm to be her sister. Forcing herself to the air despite her body's protests, Analissa flew around for a bit before she spotted her sister in an intense and alien Rain Dance. She impulsively sped to the younger girl's side, taking hold of her shoulders and shaking her. Before Ana could even say a word, Riona crumpled sobbing, nearly taking both of them to the ground. Ana stiffened as she experienced alien feelings as Riona sobbed into her shoulder, clinging on as for dear life. The rain had almost immediately ceased to pour once Riona had stopped dancing, and the storm clouds had begun to disperse. "Hey," Analissa finally got the courage to speak, "girlie, I hate to ruin the moment, but we gotta get going. The Void gijinkas can hunt down Binaries by tracking trails left by our powers...And well, you just used quite a lot of that." Ana cringed at her bluntness, but it was the truth. She was expecting for Riona to yell at her and run off dramatically, so the Jirachi Binary was pretty surprised when her sister ceased to make a sound, silently pulling away from their embrace. "Okay," Riona mumbled without a trace of emotion. "What did you call them?" Despite the situation, Analissa couldn't help but grimace. "Void gijinkas. They seemed to be void of all good emotion while under His spell, so I thought it fitting." "Nice one," Riona commented offhandedly. "Where'd Bellatrix go? And those two strangers...they helped us." Analissa shook her head helplessly. "I went straight to find you once you woke up. You nearly um..." She trailed off, pointing below them. The water had covered a third of the tree trunks all around them, pretty much obscuring all view of the ground. Riona let out a stifled gasp, but made no other reaction. Analissa turned to look at her sister, and nearly did a double take. Riona's flaming red hair was still there, however, her wings seemed to be a lot larger than before, and were now trimmed with red. The bright color contrasted somewhat beautifully against the icy blue color of her now gigantic wings. A blue triangular shaped pendant necklace hung from her neck, and her wings were also now oddly shaped, as if cut roughly much like a jet plane's wings. Overall, the Latias Binary looked a lot more like her parent. "Holy Arceus," Analissa breathed. "Riona, I think you just unlocked the next level of power." [kay, so. I've decided to make it like every time a Binary or gijinka (yes I am including gijinkas), get a power surge (like what happened with Bellatrix and now Riona), they sort of go onto an all new level of power, from their respective parents (or in the case of gijinkas, patron legendaries.) There's like only one gijinka in this RP, but honestly I wanted to power up both species so that they'd be equal. So now, the differences between the two is: Binaries have a permanent telepathic link with their respective legendary parents, gijinkas only have temporary ones with their patrons. Binaries automatically are a little more powerful than gijinkas, but have a harder time unlocking new power levels. Gijinkas, on the other hand, have average powers but unlock power levels much easier. Patrons are legendaries who take a liking to certain gijinkas, and offer them guidance and extra power. My god I'm making this sound stupid with the mention of power levels. Much more basic terms: Binaries level up a lot slower than gijinkas. In the case of legendary giijinkas, it is the same. By doing this some people might actually submit forms for gijinkas, they are so neglected and ignored in this RP D: I won't be accepting many legendary gijinkas. They're pretty much a Binary with a Quick Level Gain cheat code, so yeah. They will, however, have trouble controlling new and sudden powers cause they level up too quickly. So after a lot of attempting to balance out powers and stuffs and moves here: Binaries: - Telepathic link (permanent) with parents - Instantly more powerful than gijinkas - Take a long time to "level up" - Binary form accesses all kinds of moves (By TM/HMs, level up, tutoring, and breeding) - Gijinka form accesses only level up moves and sometimes a few TM moves - Human form, different appearance from what they were born with - You guys can think up different kinds of cons and pros for respective parent (Since all legendaries have various powers and such) Legendary gijinkas: - Telepathic link (breakable and not permanent) with respective legendary - Cannot access breeding or tutoring moves - Instantly more powerful than gijinkas - Take normal time to "level up" - Will struggle with sudden new "level ups" - You guys can think up different kinds of cons and pros for respective legendary (Since all legendaries have various powers and such) Normal gijinkas: - Telepathic link (breakable and not permanent) with respective patron - Can access all moves - Normal power - Take normal time to "level up" - Can catch interest of legendary and get a patron, thus "evolving" them in a way - May gain small appearance traits from patron, if they get one - You guys can think up different kinds of cons and pros for respective patron legendary (Since all legendaries have various powers and such) Ugh, lol, I'm done. I'll be editing the forms to fit this if nobody objects. It's basically a poll, you can like add to the start or end of your RP post if you support the ideas or not.] [Read more] |

"Hello, class," He greeted once all the chatter had died down. Some students replied back with a dull hello, but Callisto leaned forward eagerly. "Hi, Dad," she said out loud. Several students nearby shot out of their sleepy stupor, deliberately edging away from her as if she was a bomb about to go off. Elijah turned his dark eyes to his daughter, expression softening rather subtly. With a curt nod of acknowledgement, Elijah began the lesson, ordering a nearby terrified Hufflepuff to distribute the matches among the students. The poor girl scampered about the desks as quickly as she could, nearly even dropping the whole box on some Ravenclaw kid's head, all while under the scrutinizing gaze of Professor Rinestone. The task was simple and straightforward: Turn the match into a needle. With an indolent flick of her wand, the deed was done. Callisto resorted to watching some other students struggle with the spell as her father flitted with inhuman speed among them, correcting wand movement and halting any wayward matches which could still poke your eye out. One particular match shot away from a nearby student's table and nearly hit Callisto in the forehead, but she deftly willed it away with a look. Thankfully, nobody seemed to deem this certain incident odd, as they were all busy with either performing the spell or watching others fail spectacularly. [Read more] |

Callisto felt her fiery hair simmer down to its usual black, and her bright eyes darken. With a half-shrug, she slung her schoolbag over her shoulder. "Class? Yes. My dad? Nope," she answered promptly. "Let's go." Silently spinning on her heel, she headed out the library without as much as a sound of breathing, giving her presence an eerie effect. Callisto had had practice, so as much as overrated ninjas were, she guessed she was quite close to their stealth. Weaving through hordes of students, Callisto didn't pause to check if Mia was following her. If she was smart, which she was, she'd follow Callisto to the classroom. Callisto knew the way to the Transfiguration classroom like the back of her hand, her father's stories hinting too much at the secret passages in between and such. Also because it would be hell to find a classroom during rush hour. Keeping her pace silent and steady, Callisto quickly disappeared through the classroom door, where a few students had already congregated. Revealing her secret to two people in the same day had taken a lot out of her, and Callisto was really not in the mood for dilly-dallying. Slipping into a chair unnoticed, she listlessly finished her Potions essay with several strokes of her quill, before packing it up again. Now where was her father? Speak of the devil, the man who shared her black hair entered the room. [Read more] |

"So basically you don't want a bunch of you-know-whats using you for their personal needs. I understand that. I've got fifteen male second cousins," she summed up bluntly. "And seeing as you've mentioned my little talent for cooking up magical nuclear bombs," Callisto continued dryly, "I'll be assuming this condition of yours involves that." Before the other girl could reply, Callisto hastily added on to her sentence. "And yes, I believe at this point I can possibly whip up such a destructive potion. My dad burned all the potion-making contest invites I got for a reason," she let out a snort of laughter. "He was afraid that the next thing I'd whip up would cause the city to implode. I don't blame him for that." "A secret for a secret sounds fair, either way," she ended nonchalantly. One reason she was in a hurry was because of class. The other was because if she stayed there any longer, she'd be tempted to reach out and touch those waves of magic. They were certainly more powerful than the typical wizard or witch, and Callisto did not want to blow up the library by accident. Blowing up things were more of a last resort thing. [Read more] |

Resisting the urge to smile and check for Mia's reaction, she stuck the book neatly into her schoolbag. The spell was easily reversed, especially now that Callisto herself could see exactly what held the spell in place and could counter it with a little brand of magic from her phoenix half. Callisto looked up and made eye contact with her, noting down with mild interest the different eye color. Her appearance no longer seemed to be melting off her, meaning...this was her true appearance. "Let's see. Metamorphmagi. You don't need to be so tense," she settled comfortably in her chair. "Transfiguration has been a main interest in my family for generations. My dad's the Transfiguration professor here at Hogwarts and," she quickly checked the clock, "I believe that class is soon. I know a great deal about Metamorphmagi. They're dying out, and one of the last recorded was a Teddy Lupin after the Second Wizarding War. A few families used to pass on the gift from generation to generation, but I believe most of them have either Squibbed or died out." She paused to catch her breath. "As for me being part phoenix, I must say you have excellent observation skills there. I'm not taking this lightly, nor do I plan to leave. Both of our species are dying out, and I know for a fact there are less than twenty phoenixes still existing," she ended firmly. "Just because I'm acting like it, does not mean I'm taking it lightly, Miss Grey. My family's got contacts throughout the Ministry, and you know what I've heard? Things are happening. And they're definitely not in favor of any species dying out," she added for good measure. Callisto leaned back in her chair, her molten gold eyes glowing defiantly, waiting for the girl's reply. [Uh. Arashi, Mia, and Callisto are in the library. Clarisse just left, and I don't know about the other characters. Class is soon, then after that is lunch break.] [Read more] |

Waves of magic was rolling off the auburn haired Ravenclaw, and Callisto quickly averted her eyes when she realized the girl's little disguise was melting off her. Callisto had realized already that her senses were growing with every passing second, and the more she practiced using them to their full extent, the stronger they grew. Already she could command her eyesight to go into what she called "phoenix vision", when her eyesight would sharpen and become so clear she could see those far away as clear as if they stood before her. "I owed her," she replied evasively, her eyes doing their best not to meet the other girl's. With a bit of willpower, Callisto forced her hair and eyes to return to their original states, the bright colors seeping out like water in a broken dam. She began to pack up some of her books, doing all she could to not make eye contact. "Nice spellwork there, by the way," she commented offhandedly about the wandlessly cast spells around them. "Could use some tweaking." While rolling up some parchment that held her half-finished Potions homework, she forced herself to look the Ravenclaw in the eye. "Did you need anything? I suppose you're here to talk about your being a Metamorphmagus," Callisto tread on the words as lightly as she could, not wanting to vex the girl. Callisto began to buckle up a book with straps, breaking eye contact, but keeping her other senses sharp. She resisted the urge to reach out and touch the magic so obviously displayed. Ever since her "accident", she'd often seen magical folk of all sorts emitting the magic. She emitted them herself, but her magic had mutated as well...not exactly pure witch magic anymore. Something more ancient. Callisto had been afraid of what would happen if she reached out and touch those magic waves that the wizarding community emitted. She brushed past those everyday, every time she moved, but she had long since realized there was a difference between taking magic for granted and purposely messing with it. She could not touch anyone's magic, or there would be consequences. [Read more] |

PREPARE FOR LATIAS POWER SURGEEE!] Riona was confused. Seriously. Some random Rayquaza gijinka (or was it a Binary?) had popped out of nowhere along with some random guy with an Uxie tail. (Was it Mesprit? Argh, her mind was so jumbled up right now.) Then Bellatrix went on a rampage and had possibly caused a forest fire. All the gijinkas that had gone psycho had fainted, and were on the danger of being of roasted alive. Actually, they were all in danger of the latter. Riona closed her eyes, trying to not breathe in the heavy smoke in the air. You're not alone. In the heated air, her wings sparkled like ice, hair glinting like fire itself. Riona channeled all her doubts and all her anger. She channeled her gratefulness towards Bellatrix and the strangers, and sympathy for the spellbound gijinkas they had fought. She channeled her confusion and rage in seeing Analissa. Last of all, she channeled all her fears into one mighty massive attack. Gliding gracefully through the burning trees, she began to dance. It wasn't any ordinary Rain Dance, nor a simple human dance. It was a dance that interpreted her entire life of loneliness. Of being an outcast. Because emotions were the unlimited power source every human held. And Riona wasn't just a human, she was a Binary. Something special, something unique. Each step caused her to glow as fiercely as the sun. And with one last fluid motion, the red aura burning around her burst into the air. Fire and water are very much alike, as opposites they seem. And cue the massive waterworks that exploded from the heavens, dousing the fires with extreme velocity. [Read more] |

Flipping through her Potions homework, Callisto did her best to block out the pain without setting anything on fire. She finally gave up on reading, and tilted back her chair (despite the librarian's protests), and closed her eyes. The library held a sense of comfort for her, even before the accident. It was the perfect getaway from reality, and she merely needed to open a book and find herself in a different world. Shaking away her sudden daydream, Callisto set her chair back on the ground, the headache having somewhat calmed. A lazy glance at the clock informed her that her next class was soon, and so was lunch. Her stomach grumbled slightly at the prospect, but Callisto ignored it, focusing on the event in Herbology. Mia Grey - was that even her real name? - was a Metamorphmagus. Come to think of it, Callisto remembered that most of the Grey line had died out or married into Muggle lineages. Mia was probably one of the last, and possibly the last pureblood in their line. Now Callisto was regretting running away from the scene so quickly. Mia was probably worrying she would spill her secret to the rest of the school. At this, Callisto shook her head in disbelief. "She's not the only one with hidden magic," Callisto thought darkly, running a finger across her left palm. A tiny golden spark popped suddenly in the silence of the library, and Callisto quickly withdrew her finger. Just in time too, for Clarisse had arrived. At her question, Callie grimly smiled. She flipped open a book from the Magical Creatures section to a certain page. A beautifully hand-drawn picture of a phoenix with its wings spread and fire blazing from its tail dominated a full page. On the right page was a couple of paragraphs about the creature. Carefully focusing, Callisto felt her magic blaze bright, spreading to the tips of her hair and flooding her irises.
