Iris was still cautious about this. She did care for rescue teams, but not too much for joining one. But when Shade had asked her to join, she just COULDN’T say no. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, who could turn it down? She was standing by Elder, who was trying to catch up to the group despite his age. He seemed to tower over the rest of the team, and Iris was confused on how he managed to even keep up. She sat atop one of Elder’s lowest branches, trying not to stress him too much. She sighed, and wondered about her family back home. She’d been gone since morning, and her family must be worried sick, even with the note. She kept her mind straight. “One mission,” she thought, “one mission and I’ll let them know.” But deep on her heart she knew that that tiny apartment would better suit four people instead of five. “I’ll tell them I’m going, pack some things, and leave. If they want me to stay I’ll tell them I’ve gotten an opportunity of a lifetime, and leave.” She would still visit them from time to time, but if she did it right, she could never have to live in such a small space ever again.

Elder looked on to the direction of the forest. He would miss it, but he loved accompanying children while they followed their dreams. He knew these journeys will not be as easy as they would be in their youthful days, but he knew he’d enjoy every last moment of it.

BlackReshiram said it perfectly. But just becauses so many thing come back around doesn’t mean you’re ever going to get something a player that’s been here for years has, but even some of the oldest players never got to have have some things that you might now! (Like being welcomed by a large community of thousands, or other things when you start out!) Sometimes, it’s nice being new, because you learn so many things each day. Just keep on interacting, sending out plushies, hatching pokemon, chatting with others, or whatever you love to do here, and soon it will feel like you’ve been here forever! And plus, there’s some cool things out there that are on the way! I too don’t know what they are, but the future is mysterious and exiting!
