Stormflight gave a short nod. "I can take care of myself, thank you," she meowed. The she-cat took a drink of the air for any signs of prey. She scented a rabbit and snapped her attention to it. There it was--the somewhat undersized animal sitting a few fox-lengths away out in the open. She instantly took off, giving chase to the rabbit and dashing after it for a few seconds before managing to catch and finish off the speedy thing. She buried it for the time being and looked up. "So, can you beat that?"

Alex took his Soulstone and looked down at it patiently. It wasn't as fast as Hannah's at all. It took several minutes, possibly ten or twenty for anything to happen. Finally, he was practically blinded as the light swallowed him up, then vanished. He felt himself hovering over the ground in a red light ball, until it went out and he was set down. He looked at the stone. It was now an egg. The egg was multicolored; it was sky blue with streaks of purple and gold. It slowly turned yellow. "Whoa..." He said, impressed. The crowd cheered for him, but their calls were nothing in his mind filled with amazement and wonder.

Alex sat in a tree, scribbling random things down in a tattered old notebook he had. The griffon Soar sat beneath him, resting in the shade. "What are you writing?" It asked. (ihni if it can talk or not, just random o-o) "Just noting a few things..." The boy replied. He almost always tended to ignore others, but to his Fantasmiare, the two were practically best friends. He closed the notebook and set it aside, glancing up at the sky in thought.
