	Gossamer silks would look nice on him, I think. Maybe the new Sylvan wings (Grove or Silver). And familiar... conjoined skink? Not perfect, but it does have that green and a bit of that yellow. Or a Cloud Chaser. [Read more]

His tert is a bit unfortunate though; I'd live it as basic in most cases.

I'd go for Tiger/Peregrine/Basic, myself. Maybe Spines, if you were desperate for a tert. Or Stained, if you are really desperate - it looks nice, makes him a little purplish!

Also, as usual... random scries, WHY?!

Cherub doesn't look great with Thy, but I like the color combo, strangely enough.

	@StarNinja She's a cutie! Sadly most of the gene combos I found attractive on her are quite expensive. Iri/Shim/Thy Rip/Shim/Glim (or underbelly, as a budget option) Poison/Paint/Underbelly This one is cute I think, though reminds me more of 'spring' than 'summer'. (Also looks nice with Gembond instead of belly, but it might just be my opinion). [Read more]

I need a name for this boy; I want to chuck him into coli as a trainee mage/healer.

Any suggestions? Sky/cloud-related names highly appreciated. No cirruses or cumuli, please.

Also, on a different note...

Do you have an idea for a skin/accent for the Trickmurk Circus, but can't draw/are too lazy to do it?

Well, I have no ideas, but I have time to spare, and enough boredom to last for days! So you can suggest me your idea, I might try to draw it and enter it in the contest.

If it won, I would be willing to give you 1k gems (out of 1.5k that is the prize). That is because the skin would have my name on it, and I feel that's a reasonable compensation. The fate of the skin-pack could be discussed at that point - either sold, turned into skin and split the skins, or split just the income that comes from the skins.

I have finally decided what to do, gene-wise, with this XYX girl I got from Lovi a while ago.

I will make her Piebald/Stripes/Thylacine (preview in her info bit).

I think Piebald and Paint look gorgeous with Thylacine if they are the same color.
But in every other combination, Thylacine is 'meh' at most.

Speaking of gene plans...

I wish the scavenging levels actually did something more than unlock more items to be found... which you are unlikely to find anyway, since they are so darn rare. Ugh.

Anyway, I've hatched my last nest today! Three kids, two Pearlcatchers, one Ridgeback. XYY, XYZ and XXY. I -really- need to give that pair their tert genes because it's such a waste when XYYs happen!

I still don't really like stained, but I have to say that it can look good on some dragons. It just really depends on the combinations.

I am still torn on this one dragon of mine, I think Stained looks really good on her, but then... so does Glimmer... Choices, choices!

To be fair, I am quite pleased that they do change sizes... it's sad on one hand, sure, but on the other hand, I wouldn't have been happy with Marina's female mate being three times his size because she was born a Guardian. o;

And speaking of hatchlings, hurrah! I managed to hatch another nest (that was waiting for a couple weeks because of space issues). Next time I breed them, I really need to borrow an Earth nest, brown eyes would make the kids purrfect. ;v;

I am happy with the hatchies! They are both XYY boys, one Tundra, one Skydancer. <3

Hmm, still not entirely convinced, but thank you for your examples!

The only dragon I breed swapped so far was Marina - from a Mirror to a Skydancer, both of which are about the same size.

Nocturne to Fae is tricky, since there are some Nocs who are itty bitty and naturally around the size of a Fae. Or maybe they really are just Faes in disguise, who knows!

Hatchies are hatchies, they all start teeny tiny, Ludger might just have stopped growing as soon as he got breedswapped. you know? =P

I guess Ridgie to Pearlcatcher is the most convincing one, though I could argue that it depends on whether she was already grown or not.

But you're probably right. It's just I really want to think of the possibility of a Fae-sized Imperial, or a Guardian-sized ~~floof~~ Tundra. xD

I got him for 7k-9k (can't remember exactly), so I'd be fine selling him back at 7k (or 10 gems) too.

When you genechange a dragon, does its size remain the same or does it change?

Because imagine if you gene changed that Guardian into a Snappie... and he retained his 21 meter wide wings (and 16 meter long body)! He could potentially even fly on those. o:
