Evangeline saw that Felicia was waddling away, and waddled right behind her. "Noooooo don't leave me you adorable thing! Here, you can have some of my coat!" She said, holding out a piece of her soft coat. She smiled softly at the liongator. Wherever she came from, she was adorable.

Alex noticed Freyr saw her. Who was Freyr really anyway? He brought that thing.

Evangeline grinned ear to ear as she patted the liongator hybrid with godspeed.

Out of the corner of her eye, Alex watched. What the heck was that thing? She continued searching her database. Until she knew what it was or where it came from, she'd keep her distance.

Alexandria double checked with her database. They were actually going the right way. " Take a right here, for a shortcut." she said. I don't even know why I'm helping them. She side-eyed the new girl. She was trying too hard to be mysterious. Alex had already spotted her at the taven.

She caught Shirin's comment.
"If this was officially run by the knights and such, there would be far more pomp and circumstance."
She was right. Simply the fact that this man had no backup, no plan, and was simply bouncing from location to location for no clear reason. As if he was trying to lose someone watching him.

Evangeline walked alongside Shirin. "The general is honestly so uptight. This isn't what he signed up for, the old grump." She said with a childish giggle. "He hates us already!", grinning ear to ear, she hadn't "gossiped" like this in years. This Shirin character was alright!

Evangeline looked at the lion alligator. She smiled. "Awwwwwww!" she wailed as she walked over to it. The adorable little thing's waddle was way too cute. She pet its fur. How could something have fur and scales at the same time?

Alex opened her eyes and noticed that everyone had assembled here(finally). She looked at the weird creature. Strange. She closed her eyes again. Letters appeared.

Alex opened her eyes again. She grew suspicious. Most likely it was some escaped experiment, or, worst case scenario, a disguised entity. If it was, did that mean Freyr was working with it? She raised an eyebrow but kept her suspicions to herself.

Evangeline sighed, having no choice but to follow Shirin.

"But who are y'all? How'd the lot of you get in with... th'general? Did'ya get those suspicious letter-things too?"

"I got some weird letter. Said they needed my fighting skill. But I don't know how I'm supposed to deal with those monsters." She said. "But they might have also chosen me because I've seen a full cycle firsthand."

Alex sighed. In her mind, letters were typing out.

She could see the tavern, her location, and the generals. For the fastest route, she was going to have to cut through some feilds, but that should be okay. She left the tavern, still with her eyes closed, not saying a word.

"Wait!" Evangeline yelled to the general. "I've got notes on the entities." She added quietly. "They took my parents...I had opportunities to observe them. They didn't think I was watching."

The image was crystal clear in her mind. Her mother walking down the halls. She turned the corner, and it was an Entity. Walked back into a room, her mom. As if nothing ever happened.

"They don't need to go back to their own forms." Evangeline stated, "Not the stronger ones at least." She added. "Once in a vessel, they can maintain that for about an hour. Then they need to relax their powers and go back to their own form. But they can transform back into a 'human' after that. Among us. You'd never know. They can copy everything to a T. Except personality." She then glanced at Shirin. "As she stated, some of them are highly intelligent. Their mimicry knows no bounds." She looked at her feet. "Oh...and um, they don't have to go back to a human form. An 'anchor', as I call it, can last them a week, I think. In that week you need to kill the entity and free the 'anchor' but...after that... um. They turn back to their human form...and" She winced at the image forming in her mind. The screams. The blood. That awful black goo. "The human body...um...melts away. The human dies. The entity goes on to find a new anchor."
