Kaito froze in his spot when Skylar got closer to him. His eyes widened considerably at the new sensation that coursed through every fiber of his being. After several moments of him sitting there, motionless like an idiot, his eyes drooped closed and he leaned into Skylar more. After a minute or two, Kaito began to wonder why his mind felt fuzzy and lightheaded, and it hit him.

'Humans need oxygen to breathe.' He thought and slowly pulled away from the blonde, his breaths quiet yet ragged as he once again began to once again avoid eye contact with Skylar.

Kaito's hands fidgeted nervously in his lap as he avoided looking Skylar in the eyes, only nodded in response. It isn't that he didn't see himself as straight, he always knew he preferred males over females ever since he was a kid, but actually admitting them to another guy is what makes him nervous.

His blush deepened when he glanced back at Skylar shyly, his fingers twitching in anticipation. He turned his face entirely to the male beside him, his eyes flicking from Skylar's emerald eyes to his lips then back again, entirely unsure as to what to do with himself at the moment.

Kaito leaned against the headboard of the bed, a teasing smile on his face. "Yeah, you are, but it's kinda cute..." His voice started trailing off after the realization of what he said hit him like a ton of bricks.

As his face turned bright red in the darkness of the room a string of bad scenarios and strings of profanities all raged about in his mind, that one single word slammed against his skull the most though. He just called this stranger cute.

	Kaito rolled over to look at his slightly open door as a knock sounded from that general area. He listened closely to the soft voice then contemplated silently in his mind. 'What's the harm?' He thought with a shrug. "Sure. Come on in." He said, sitting up, rubbing his slightly tired eyes as he waited for Skylar to come in. [Read more]

Kaito happily sipped at his sugary coffee, quickly finishing off the mug and setting it upside down in the sink. When Skylar's shoulder brushed his, a light pink dusted his cheeks before he quickly turned his face towards the hall, clear his throat gently.
"Uh, so you can stay in the guest room if you want. It's the second door on the right, the bathroom is the first door on the right and my room is the third door on the left if you need anything." He said, his usual cheeky grin plastered on his face as he instructed Skylar where everything was and lead him down the hall before heading off to his own room for the night.
"Night!" He called over his shoulder before closing the door, keeping it slightly ajar.

Kaito restrained his laughter at Skylar's joke of the feminine complexities. He snickered quietly into the back of his hand before pulling out a new mug for Skylar. Once he spoke again, he offered another kind smile in agreement.
"This was actually our parents home and our childhood home. I'd always been more fond of it than Akari though." I informed, making light conversation. He hummed for a second at Skylar's next choice of words.
"I don't see why not. I mean, I invited you both in and your sister is already out cold on my couch." He stated with a light laugh all while pouring two mugs of the finished coffee. He set the plain cup in front of his guest and went back to his mug to dump ridiculous amounts of sugar into it.

Akari eyed the teenage girl warily as she plopped down on the couch. She then looked back to her brother with droppy eyes.
"Please don't kill anyone." She mumbled through exhaustion and shuffled lazily across the carpeted floor and into her room.

Kaito chuckled and rolled his eyes. "You sure you don't want any sugar or creamer or something?" He asked Skylar as he made his way into the kitchen, turning on the coffee machine. He then shuffled past Skylar and grabbed his now cold coffee mug off the small table, making sure to not wake the sleeping girl, knowing how terrifying teenage girls can get if you wake them up without their consent.
"You can sit anywhere you want." Kaito offered, gesturing to the kitchen table and the bar/counter thing.

	Akari tiredly stood up and shook Shay's hand, rubbing her eye with her free hand. "Akari, this idiot is my brother. Kaito." She said in her usual gentle and shy voice. Kaito's warm and invition smile grew and he politely shook Skylar's hand. "So, how do you like your coffee?" He asked in an oddly chipper tone as he went to open the front door for everyone. Kaito grinned at the two strangers when they turned in his direction. Akari yawned again and shuffled over to the porch swing, plopping down tiredly. Kaito simply rolled his dark red eyes and waved at the other pair of siblings.

"Morning!" He called out cheerily to them. Akari huffed in irritation.

"Why don't you just invite the strangers in for coffee." She snapped, her tone laced with sarcasm. However, her brother, being the dense idiot he is, didn't pay any mind to the younger teens sarcasm and called out again.

"Would you guys like to come in for some coffee or something?" He asked kindly, leaning against the railing of the porch, a big, goofy grin spread out across his face.

Akari tossed and turned in her soft bed. She grumbled in irritation and flipped one final time to glare at the clock on her night stand.
"Three in the morning?" She hissed in frustration. Her blue eyes stared at her closed door for a few moments before she decided to slide out of bed and pad quietly towards the living room.

Her brother was sitting on the couch happily with his laptop on his lap, his reading glasses resting on the bridge of his nose, and a cup of coffee in hand. His head turned lazily towards Akari when the floorboards squeaked beneath her.
"Go back to sleep." He stated, closing his laptop and setting his coffee on the small table in front of the couch.

"Do you really think I would be out here if I could?" She grumbled rudely to Kaito only receiving a chuckle for the older red head.

"Maybe sitting outside for a little bit would make you want to sleep." He offered and the two of them ended up shuffling towards the front door.

Akari stretched and yawned loudly then shivered against the cold when her arms went back to her sides. She spotted two figures shuffling along the sidewalk and watched in curiousty. She nudged Kaito gently and nodded over to the strange pair.

Akari sighed and sat comfortably on the bench and stared up at the sky for a few moments before watching her brother approach her, slowly prying his curious red eyes away from the blonde girl. He took a seat next to her on the bench and offered a goofy smile. She rolled her blue eyes and he chucked happily.

"So how do you like it here?" The red head began and looked a Akari when she shyly looked down at the ground, not responding. "Did you even talk to anybody today?" He asked in a dejected tone. She shook her head, her black hair swaying slightly. He huffed in annoyance and leaned his back agains the bench with his arms crossed.

Design types: A large fox like creature, about the size of a lion, and kinda in a Steampunk design.
Features: Ah, could it's head be detached from it's body, along with thick horns on the top of it's head. Also, could it have two thinner extra arms in front of it's main arms? It has a pair of Saber Tooth Tiger teeth in exchange for it's usual canines. A ridiculously long and poofy fox tail that has a sort of thick restrain cuff with a broken chain dangling from it. It has one blue and one red eye, it's pupils are always narrowed into slits as well.
Markings: It would have black stripes that start about halfway from the base ending at the tip of the tail. It also has black stripes on it's left ear.
Other: I believe that's it :> And yo could choose whatever other colors for it that would look cool. ^^

Akari glanced around the classroom, her blue eyes nervously flicking between students. She had absolutely no clue where her brothers class was so she couldn't go off to find him, but she was also too shy to strike up a conversation with her rowdy classmates. She quickly stood from her seat and walked out of the class, basically a shadow to them. She sighed in relief before making her way towards the roof.

Kaito chuckled at what one of the jokes one of his classmates had told him and glanced at the door. He said he was going to go to the roof and relax a bit. After tearing himself away from the group of teens he made his way onto the rooftop, his eyes immediately noticed a blonde girl sitting and staring down at her phone.

Akari's blue eyes scanned the hallways nervously as she entered the school. She glanced up at her taller brother, not particularly sure what to do in the new surroundings.

Kaito glanced down at young girl beside him who stared back with her big eyes. "C'mon you nerd. Let's go get your schedule from the main office." He said with a lighthearted chuckle before he weaved expertly through the hallways, the girl never leaving his side. Kaito had been a student here since his freshman year while his little sister was studying abroad.
