Iteral finally managed to erect the barrier, right where Mercy left off and her work paid off. The shield itself consists of both celestial light and stellar shadows but they no longer combine to annihilate each other. In a dance of bright- and darkness, it guards the inner sanctum, this time without side effects. As the witch finished and went back, she shivered briefly. Something... was off. But, after a close umbral inspection, nothing except the intruder was here... weird. Maybe just the wind.

So, she makes her way inside, wand in hand and ready to cast something.

Araceli takes the final cup and drinks the truth serum herself. Despite the drama, they were both still courteous enough to thank her for her service. That was interesting. Would've been greater if they drank her serum, which was actually just a drink from this weird purple ube thing, but you can't have it all. "Sure, sure, we all have tensions we'd like to ease right now. The door is mechanical, you can just open it." She sighs, finishing her drink and opening the door first. "Magnus, I don't expect you to be truthful. We all have our demons, but... it's obvious Zaria cares about you. The least you can do is show some respect."

This time, she left to the upper floors. She didn't really know where Zaria would flee to but judging by time and everything, she made a beeline for Quentin's lab. They work together a lot and Quentin is a night owl, so the thought of Zaria going there was plausible.

	Pei makes her alien sounds again but, judging by how the cloud bird looks at her hair, she assumes she likes them. Well, Pheromosa are known to flaunt their beauty... so she throws her hair back in front of the Aquatuner, to show how sparkly it is. [Read more]

	Pei stops staring after a while and looks down at Evelyn. She just imitates the wave, a lot of people do it to her. Maybe it means hello. When mentioned, she turns to Saphira and waves as well, the exact same movement as before. Her piercing blue eyes stare at her, while her "hair" showed it's turquoise tint now, sparkly like water. Araceli was less annoyed at everyone being here and more just intrigued. Out of the entire laboratory, her basement was the odd one out. No cameras, walls full of drawings and stapled papers, some more coherent, others almost hieroglyphic. The otherwise stark white that decorated the upper labs was replaced with a terracotta-like brown/orange, apart from some discoloration from splashes. And while the labs had fancy beakers, see-through flasks and all that, she worked a lot more medieval. Cauldrons, grinders, there was a reason she was called "the witch" after all. Though she seemed a lot more hospitable than the name suggests.

"If either of you can leave them be for the time being, you can stay down here. I still have some hot chocolate left." Araceli points behind her and gave a little smile. Annoyed, a little but not enough to throw them out or anything.

Araceli looks at the newcomer Albe, slightly irritated about how everyone barged into her lab like that. She didn't mind the company, it was just surprising how many people came to the basement, considering nobody could read her writings or figure out what she was brewing half the time. Not to mention certain personality quirks that makes the scientists in the upper levels difficult.

Though, seeing how Raiden, Magnus and Zaria had something to discuss, she took the initiative and slowly backed Albe away from the door with Roserade. Closing the lab door, she whispers. "Psst. We're having a bit of an irritated reunion and he..." She points at Magnus. "... fainted on my doorstep. I nursed them back to health and now they want to do an intervention. Best if you don't disturb them!" Araceli whispers, while Roserade looks at Albe's Pokémon, handing out candy bars to either again.

	Iteral nods in agreement and, when Mercy stopped her spell, she resumed where her mother left off. "Don't worry, I'll keep it up!" She makes a little groan from the spell itself but kept the barrier construction going. Even if some less divine magic had to fill in gaps... all Iteral hoped was that they would come out okay. Iteral nods in accordance, leaving the hall and going to the construction that would become a statue. Some thoughts ran through her mind, some less harmful like asking if Lean had some time to visit... all the way to, if the Saint Deity was happier during her imprisonment, compared to now. A little swirl with her finger and some ticking sounds later, the statue finished building, almost by itself. Another icy testament to how much the land has fallen to frost...

a visible sigh. She'd been doing her best for both Saints for almost a year now and, as much as the current Saint Deity seems to close herself off in her chilled casket, Iteral likes to think that her actions prevented anything worse from happening.
Was it a lie she told herself? Maybe. But in this tundra, it's one that keeps her warm at night.

She returns to deliver the message of the finished construction. "It's done." That's all she said.

"We are almost done, Saint Deity. The final thermal test just finished." Iteral replies, looking into her little clipboard and tilting her head slightly. In contrast to her, she withstood the test of time and retains more aspects from the past. She was dressed the least winterly, wearing black/grey all over her body. Black shirt, overcoat, lace-up boots, pants, even scarf. The only thing that isn't a shade of grey/black on her body are the "Mark of the Stars" that she attached on aforementioned coat, shirt and boots. They sparkle as well, though this time with a little help from the winter wonderland that this world has become. The architect looks ahead at the hall they were in... a little heat would do it well. Then again, heat would also do the Saint Deity well... but she gave up on that idea some time ago.

Iteral felt very... out of place, kind of. With Isla leaving and the Saint growing colder (literally) and partially robbing her of her job while the atmosphere grew cold. Despite the happy ending, she felt this might have repercussions... so, unsure, she leaves Isla with the following. "Should you ever reconsider, the gates are open for you." With an elegant swing of the staff, the architect not only summons a little pocket watch in Isla's hand but also redecorates parts of the castle, imbuing them with more class, magic or both.

Faythe's blush fades and she averts her eyes, looking down at her own body instead. Kaoru probably felt it, she thought. The stitches all around her body. After so much effort in school, wearing long sleeves, not participating in P.E. when possible and holding back. It's safe to assume Kaoru was the first one who felt the stitches beyond her neck. She nods a little when Kaoru asked her but flinches when Suko adds their two cents.

Viktor smiles a little and puts the chocolate down, giving Kubo some space and time to recover. "How are you feeling? Do you need something?" He inquires, looking around him for a drink to offer to his "patient".

Fortevera suddenly raised her hand, looking around at everyone. "... Edeyas are usually formed from past traumas and the rankings' origin can be anything, from the upper class needing a barrier to distinguish itself over to an actual grading system." She takes a deep breath, basking in the sunlight that shined upon her.

"We have Edeyas for a reason, it reflects our souls, it is a way for them to express themselves. Even if you have an officially low-ranked Edeya, every single one of them has their use! I think what Kinoko means is that the lower ranks encourage them to be more inventive and creative with their abilities. We have a Combat Rank separate from the Edeya Rank for a reason, flawed as the whole ranking may be." Fortevera's voice became more powerful the longer she went on, at the end she even had to catch a breath.
