Mona shot off a few fireballs in the enemy's direction, taking out multiple cake monsters- but it seemed futile, since more appeared. It was like an endless swarm attacking. "Hurry up!"

Emmie smiled without saying a word, then quickly took her sword out. The blade was weird, curved in the design, but it was sharp and deadly. It could slice a cookie right through the dough.

She bolted after them, her skates providing her less friction to work against, making her faster than the two that were running from her. "Don't run, we've only just met!"

The threads snapped after the other, more mature cookie waved her staff. "Enough of that. I've no time for games. Cakes, destroy everything you see." Hounds and beasts infiltrated the small village, tearing up homes down to their foundation and wrecking every flowerbed, stamping the lavender out.

The girl stood back up and dusted herself off after being pinned by the threads, making sure she looked fine. "My name is Moldy Mildew Cookie, but my team calls me Emmie!"

"Everyone, we have to go! Their forces are too much!" Mona grimaced, falling out to her new friends. Her home- the lavender she worked so hard on- gone in an instant. She didn't know what to say or do, or how to feel. So she used the last of her coherent thought process to tell everyone to leave.

"I think you should shoot it." A whispering voice came from right next to Dee. It was one of the cookies- but how did she get there so fast?

One look to her feet would reveal that she wore skates. That also accounted for the noise whenever she moved.

She was sickly pale- grey, even. Both her hair and eyes were split colored- a mold-like green and sour yellow color. Each eye contained both of said colors, while her hair was split down the middle. She wore a grey short-sleeved dress and beret, and in her hair were earrings that resembled puffy mushroom spores.

She smelled rather foul. It wasn't pleasant in the slightest.

She laughed. "What's your name?"

Mona shrugged- she didn't know these two at all. But it was obvious they were working for Dark Enchantress Cookie. And because of Ace's shout, they were on high alert.

"Put that sword of yours to good use and find whoever is lurking around, Emmie." The stricter cookie told the energetic one. Their silhouettes could barely be seen, moving around quickly through the area. Mona had to get back and hide- what if she was caught? It would mean all her planning would come to an instant end. She couldn't just let that happen.

"Yes, madam!" A strange sound continuously resounded through the area, growing louder when the more spritely cookie came near.

"This place reeks."

"Aw, come on! I think it's nice!" The sound of two cookies could be heard through the smoke. Both of them were female, one sounded younger and more upbeat than the other.

"It doesn't matter what you think. You're just a pawn Dark Enchantress Cookie wants me to keep an eye on. Don't forget that."

Mona peeked outside, grabbing her wand and sneaking around, trying to get a bearing of what happened.

Satisfied, she handed it to Moon. "In the morning, take that. It's supposed to replicate the energy of the drug- since it's made with Bliss's blood and all- so she'll approve, unnoticed. And it won't have any effects- or side effects- if the drug." She walked away again, to a holographic screen on her wall, and clicked a few buttons on it. "To get rid of the energy gradually, to make it seem real, drink coffee in increments. It's better at flushing the pill out. Honestly, I'm against it. All of it."
