some people are just completly in love w/ themselves and are not able to see any issues or problems they might have. They post a ridiculous amount of pictures of themselves for whatever reason and think that everything they experience or see is worthy of sharing. How did those people aquire the selfesteem they are expressing? Ik that you can be whatever and whoever you want to be on the internet but you'll be always shy/bold, right? Are those people seeking attention? Are they bored? Don't they get enough recognition irl? As a really self concious person myself I would have a problem w/ 100+ pictures of my mug on the internet, and I don't really appreciate attention, so maybe that's just a case of "I don't like it b/c I can't relate to it". I feel alienated by acquaintances that started being active on photo sharing sites/apps. I don't have friends anymore, only associates at most. We all drifted apart w/ time; they all got partners, jobs, other friends or hobbies themselves while I barely changed on the outside, merely on the inside where I got bitter, resentful and mysanthropic. Ofc people now avoid me now irl b/c I'm hard to talk too, didn't grow or change, I'm socially awkward, I barely care for the things the mainstream or my contacts like and I'm not a fan of instant messaging/chatting. Sometimes I wonder if I feel lonely; I think I do, but it's not to bad if you have video games, tv shows and the internet. I had one too many chances to befriend people but I didn't, and that's what I got for it now. I don't want to bathe in self-pity for to long; I know what I did and I know why. You can't change back time and that's fine w/ me. I have to move on alone for a while until I change my surroundings, move on and meet a new bunch of people. This feels like a new chapter of my life, now that most relationships I had ended. I hope I find the courage and strenght to continue w/o spiraling into a hole of sadness again. [Read more] |

the end of a chapterthose spots of sunlight in your face make me miss you even more I just hate it when you're trying to push some thoughts away but they keep on creeping back into your mind; lingering, halting your process of growing. You can't change some things, or other people for that matter; you can only change yourself and adapt to the situation you're in, or move on. I don't want to force myself into sticking with people or habits that don't further me anymore and take away from my life experience. That might sound rude but I feel like I have to take matters into my own hands if I want to make something out of it. Life is only that short and I'm wasting it on enough useless things already. At first thought I love the idea of having your favourite mon displayed on one's profile; on the other hand it probably is (almost) all the time in your party, for all to see and associate with you. To side w/ most, keeping the starter and adding the valued pokemon sounds like a neat addition in the end, but I doubt its usefulness (other than personalisation). I'd be for some changes on the "Game Records" widget in general, if that's related (e.g. removing the battle stats, adding other more valuable information). [Read more] |
