22nd September and another Pokemon from chain fishing! I starting to really like this method. So far I've gotten the shinies relatively fast from this method. And I don't know what it is with me and golden weak fish, but I really like shiny Luvdisc.
I caught one at Ever Grande City in a chain lower than at least 10. I caught her in a heal ball because it's fitting. For some reason all the shinies I've gotten since Magnemite have had neutral natures. I guess that's good since it doesn't do anything negative, but it makes it sort of boring.
I named her Aurumance because it's wordplay on Aurum (Latin for gold) and Romance.

ALL HAIL THE KARP!

On the 21st September, I found a shiny Magikarp! And it's staying that way! I don't care about red Gyarados, golden Magikarp looks amazing! This was my first shiny obtained from chain fishing and I got it from Route 104.
What made this even more special is that I accidentally pressed the A button when I didn't see or hear the exclamation point. Luckily, it popped up the exact same time I pressed A. I'm thinking, "Imagine if this turns out to be shiny". Lo and behold.
I named this God of the Ocean, King Karp because that's exactly what it is.

Finally, on the 20th of Sept, I found a shiny Sandshrew in the desert (Route 111) by horde-hunting. I was almost thinking of giving up and hunting something else, but glad I didn't!
He has IVs in Defense and Speed. I didn't even know horde pokemon could have 2 IVs.
I named him Crevice.

Same day, just before I went to bed, I found a shiny Geodude in a horde in Terminus Cave. Luckily, I had a Chimecho with skill swap to give the shiny Levitate. Otherwise, the other Geodudes would've killed him with magnitude.
I named him Nugget

Recently I had caught a shiny Burmy at the Honey Tree which soon evolved into a Wormadam. I clicked on it to see it's profile before I boxed it, but when I clicked it, it gave me the page saying it had been successfully released.
I didn't try to release it at all. It didn't even the load the profile for me.

On the 16th of Sept (2015), I finally get a shiny Aron from horde-hunting in Granite Cave!
It has the ability Rock Head and a defense IV. The only bad thing about it, is that it has a -Atk nature. It might not be too bad though. My in-game Aggron had a -Def nature but it was still amazing.

I named it T-X (short for Tyrannosaurus-X). And now there is only one more shiny I need. And my team of all-stars will be complete...

So, I start my horde-hunting in Mew Mauville today as well; first horde, right in the middle, is a shiny Magnemite. And this was right after the shiny Aron horde, so it's almost like back-to-back shinies.
I named it Magneto.

On the 13th of Sept (2015), I got a shiny Zigzagoon on Route 1 horde-hunting.
She has a neutral nature and the ability Gluttony. Nothing more about it. It's just a zigzagoon.
I named her Zigzy.

On the 11th of Sept (2015) I found a shiny Minun. After losing my DexNav chain of over 250 trying to find a shiny Sunkern, I went to Route 110 to do some horde encounters. After about 6 hordes, I found the Minun.
It's a Minun, so, not really any good battling capabilities (although Helping Hand from a Plusle makes it do a crazy amount of damage).
I so super original that I named him - (That's a minus sign if you couldn't see it).

To complete the shiny week, I found a shiny Riolu on the 9 Sept. (2015) in a Fighting type safari. It has the ability Steadfast, a bad nature and ok-ish IVs.
So now I have a shiny Pokemon for every day of the week.
I named him Saiyan Dawg because I don't know.

'On the 8th day of September (2015), the safari gave to me, 1 shiny Lillipup, to continue my shiny streak!'
Lillipup was the one I wanted a shiny of the least (the other Pokemon were Minccino and Ditto), so of course I got shiny Lillipup. On the bright side though, she's lax which isn't a bad nature and has run away (which becomes scrappy). She also has max IVs in Attack and Defense.
I don't know what to name her, so I just went with Doge-Mesiter.

7th of Sept. (2015), I decided to test the streak with a Pokemon I had been trying to search for forever. I had given up upon the hunt so many times, even tried to hunt in another friend safari but still came out shiny-dry. Now finally, after at least an year since I started the hunt for it, I continue my shiny streak with a shiny Trapinch!
It literally made my day. Even though it's only the start of the day. I named her Mirage because it was such an elusive shiny.

6th of Sept. (2015) and the streak goes on with a shiny Drowzee in a psychic type friend safari! Unlike the others though, it was the Pokemon I was actually looking for. He of course has a bad nature, Lax.
I named him SigmundFreud after Sigmund Freud, the father of psychoanalysis.

On the 5th of September (2015), I was able to continue my one shiny per day with a shiny Pinsir from a friend safari. I got it 11 minutes before the next day started.
Nothing too special about it (apart from being shiny of course); it has submission, so I feel more justified for not using False Swipe during shiny catching.
I named him Beatley because he's a beetle and his blue colour reminded me of Wheatley from Portal 2.

4th September (2015), an hour after I woke up, I shiny-hunted in a ghost-type friend safari which had Shuppet, Pumpkaboo and Spiritomb. I decided to do one last encounter before I went to go do something else (and it wasn't one those just one more, ok now for real its the last one kind of last encounter. I have self-control), when I found a shiny Spiritomb!
I named it Ectoplasma as a portmanteau on the words ectoplasm and plasma (even though ectoplasm is already a combination of ecto and plasma).

On the 3rd of September (2015), I found another shiny in a friend safari. I was hoping to find a shiny Delibird, but Sneasel is good too, I guess. Even though its shiny doesn't at all reflect what Sneasel is supposed to be. I guess maybe that's why it's rare.
I had been hunting for some quite, taken a 1 week break and found it on the first encounter for the day.
Oh, and she's Modest. Lowered Attack, Raised Sp.Attack. Shiny luck is something I may have. Nature luck though...
I named her Prisma.

On the 26th of July, I went back to DexNav Chatot which I had decided to do after I got the Shiny Charm. I just sort of forgot about it. And today I got it! In 1 Dexnav encounter! What a brillaint way to start Box 2!
Not really that special except that it has its hidden ability, Big Pecks, and the egg move Defog which i meh.
I named her Patches because she a bundle of colours.

Full Shiny Box!

Today on the 1st of July, I received my 30th shiny! I wanted my 30th shiny to be something special, so I decided to shiny hunt the Latias from the Eon ticket event.
I had been hunting it for days but lost hope. That's when I took a loooooong break from shiny hunting. Today, I came back to try again, and lo and behold, shiny Latias!
Fun Fact: I spent a lot of time chucking ultra and dusk balls and then caught her in a regular Pokeball.
I named her Edna, because I'm bad at names and Latias is the Eon Pokemon.
And no, Latias-Sama was not an option.

Are you sure you're using it correctly? You're supposed to make a Scyther or Onix hold it then trade the pokemon.
