i've searched around the forum and such and didn't find any answers so i'm asking here

i've completed the pro path in the royal tunnel, got all the regis hatched, and a relicanth, all for the regigigas quest, but now when i got everything set up as it should be, in the royal tunnel i get a message saying:
"The following Pokémon in your Party seem to be too exhausted for this Quest:
Relicanth"

i've tried some things but nothing happens, and i'm stuck without an idea about what to do next, could someone tell me what i should do now?
