While waiting for Jude and Natsumi, Vespa couldn't help taking notice as Kyo sat down across from her at the lunch table. She'd been sitting alone until Kyo came by, and it seemed he was probably aiming to sit at the table with the least people, rather than a table with her at it. "Hi Kyo!" She chirped, leaning forwards a bit, smile on her face. "I didn't expect you to come sit with me. Want a cookie? I made some this morning and I wouldn't mind sharing." She offered, holding up a plastic baggie filled with chocolate chip cookies. "If you don't want any, I'll just go back to reading my book, if you don't mind." She said, placing her hand on the novel she had brought with her.

(Erm, Zephyr, Briarsting's deputy of Echoclan, you kinda needa fix that part of your form :\)
(Also wondering how Shadowkit wandered from the farthest clan through like 2 clan territories all the way to Fruitclan, but whatevs)

Briarsting gave a nod, padding over to the fresh kill pile and retrieving a finch. He walked over to the warrior's den, settling down just outside of it to eat.

Vespa couldn't help laughing at Envy's comment. "I'll go save us a table, ok? You can try to snap him outta his daze." She chirped, trotting off into the lunchroom. She chose a table towards the back of the cafeteria, closer to the Windows, as well as quieter than the bustling cafeteria. She opened up her lunch bag, removing an orange, a soda, as well as some other assorted food items. She peeled open her orange, sticking a piece in her mouth as she opened her book, resuming from where she left off.

(Idek firelight jus kinda vanished after the fighting started)

Briarsting bobbed his head in agreement. He and Whitestar padded back to camp.

Fern tilted her head to the sky, watching the sun rise. It was probably time for her to head back to camp, but decided to instead retire to her tree-nook, the old storage space from her rogue days. She sighed as she slunk into the cozy space, sinking into the soft scraps piled in a corner as she dozed off into a dreamless sleep, ignorant of her wounds.

Vespa stopped at her locker to retrieve her lunch, shoving her bag into her knapsack and withdrawing a book to read as she walked to the lunch room. She was walking down the hall when she accidently bumped into the side of a tall boy with reddish hair and blue eyes. "Oh! Sorry!" She chirped, half hopeful that either him or his lady friend would actually acknowledge her, though it was unlikely, if she was judging by her experiences with other students.

"Yeah, I'm freakin' starving." She agreed, beginning to walk back in the direction of the school. She trudged up to the edge of the small grotto, pausing for a moment to look back to Kyo, who was still nearby the tree. "Hey, are you coming? Today's pizza day, you'd prolly not wanna miss that. Anyways, see you later." She said with a small smile, turning to dash off into the woods back towards the school.

Vespa looked up at him, shocked for a moment. In a swipe of her hand, she rubbed away her tears, nodding. "Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just... Sorry. Dad's just been a bit meaner this week, I guess I kinda just took it out on you." She said, covering her left arm and slipping it through her sleeve. "I'll make you some cookies or something tomorrow to make it up to you if you want." She said, a sheepish look on her face as she pulled herself to her feet. "But seriously though, let's keep this to ourselves. If any of my teachers find out, I could be expelled. Dad would be seriously ticked." She said with a shiver. "Besides, lunch is gonna be starting soon, right?"

Vespa heard Kyo shouting at her from the bridge, and couldn't help biting the inside of her cheek. She swiped away angry tears with her sleeve, glaring at the tree leaves as if she could somehow magically will them to explode or something. She dug her nails into her arm, wincing when she accidently squeezed one of her bruises too hard. With a painful wince, she slid her left arm out of her jacket sleeve, checking the several bruises along her left arm for bleeding. When satisfied that the wounds weren't open, she slouched back against the tree, bumping her head against the willow's bark. She didn't bother to pull her sleeve up, remaining motionless as she stared at the canopy. How was it that she could barely control her temper against someone she had just met, but couldn't even stand up to her father? With a small release of breath, she slumped gainst the tree, right hand gripping her arm as she fought the hot tears that pushed past her eyelids, dripping down her face.

Vespa gave a small huff, snapping her sketch pad shut and shoving it into her purse. In a single fluid motion, stern expression on her face, Vespa grabbed Kyo's arm, jerking him up into a loop as she flipped him face-first into the bridge. "There aren't any walls around, but I warned you anyways." She said, crossing her arms in an agitated pose. "You're lucky I quit my martial arts class once I reached 3rd dan." She said, before stomping off to sit behind the willow tree, facing away from Kyo. Figures that the only person who noticed her thought she was annoying! She gave an angry sigh as she leaned up against the tree, glaring up at the canopy.

Vespa gave a small laugh, pulling a small sketchbook out of her purse. She began to sketch the area around the willow before pausing for a moment. Her hand lay still, halfway through drawing the willow's dangling leaves. "Do you think I'm disruptive?" She asked, looking over to Ryo. She certainly hoped that she wasn't. Vespa wasn't really noticed unless her presence was pointed out beforehand, so she'd gotten used to acting however she wanted to around classmates.

"Pfft, I don't need to be rescued! I'm not some damsel in distress you know!" She laughed, jumping onto the edge of the bridge and tightrope walking to the top, removing her shoes and letting her feet brush the surface of the river. "Later this year, there'll be a whole crap ton of frogs around here. It's pretty cool seeing them all over the place, at least until the cranes come to eat them." She said, leaning back a bit to look at the foliage above her. "Hey, what are you doin' just standing around? C'mere, sit down with me." She chirped with a gentle smile, patting the spot next to her.

"Oh, it's just around the back of the school, in those woods. There's this cool crik and bridge that've been around a long time. Nobody really knows why that bridge is there, as far as I know, but it's pretty cool, with the effect of that willow tree right over it." Vespa said cheerfully, walking out of the school with Kyo. She padded off the school grounds into the woods, stepping over toppled trees and twisting roots. With a bright smile, she jogged forwards and onto the moss-covered bridge, holding her arms up as if to present the little grotto. "Viola! Isn't this great!" She chirped, spinning around to face her new friend.

(ahh just got back from a 4 hour car ride)
