One day I want to have a genuine close friend and really talk to someone.
Just about all sorts of things like how unhappy I was or about times when things are really exciting. I don't want somebody to bring everything back to them and not listen to me. My friends do that now, they appreciate very little things outside of their lives.
It shouldn't stick with me as much, but they don't even like my music. We all used to share music together but now no one likes too. I respect that we all have different tastes and opinions, but they could at least not look bored and make the air uncomfortable at the same time.

I recently traveled to check out colleges and I of course applied to a handful just to have options and backup plans. Anywyas, where I just came back from was two states away from my family and home. Which is roughly 7.5 hrs away.
I've played an instrument for 9.5 years and I have got to say, not once has somebody ever complimented me for the length of time I played it. This was until I met the most excited band director at orientation.
The school I visited is a smaller size college, it's private and a Division II school.
I was skeptical of the band director because I had always imagined that amazing players were everywhere at colleges. He explained that it wasn't the case there because if they are coming to the state they're choosing instead to go to the University that's located not even 15 mins away. I'm a good player but the reason I wouldn't choose a large uni is because I do bad with lots of other people. I'm bad with crowds because of my anxiety.
He told me that I was the only brass instrument player with a scholarship besides the string, percussion, and piano players. Even they don't have the same years like I do. I was shocked and basically he said if I place well after the playing audition, my minor work would be a breeze to complete.
It's good news to hear, but I remember like nothing about theory. Lol this'll be fun.
